    Pearly you are right about me deciding what is right. Decided to only take the one pill in morning for acid reflex Fetadimyne or something like that. Two hrs after taking I got burps in my chest and rapid heart beat. So ate my lunch early today. Chicken breast snd steamed cabbage and small apple. I think I feel better. Also wondering if due to hcg inj if my thyroid meds are causing overactive rather than overactive thyroid condition.

    Your Abba dress and outfit sounds great. Yes I would be old enough to have something from that era but they are long gone. My weight was much less then and after 10 years being obese on the charts I cleared them out. I was very small back then 110ish to 118 but had to radically starve to stay down.
    I am okay in the 140s but happier in the 130s. My husband thinks at 80 I look better in the 140s. But I’m the one that decides. Lol

    Rose, some people do have to drop back their thyroid meds during P2. HCG does stimulate the thyroid. Any kind of anxious feelings, palpitations or trouble sleeping could indicate you need to drop your thyroid dose some.

    Yep, cleaned out my closet of all the BIG stuff several years ago. Now I can't get over 140 or I will be nekked. I am best just under 130, but too thin at 120. I actually went to Weight Watchers when I hit 120 back in the day. Had to get a drs. permission to lose 10 pounds there. Took me FOR EV ER to lose 10 pounds. Like 3 months. Then about 4 years later I hit 130 and thought I was obese. Good grief. I went to Diet Center and lost 10 pounds in six weeks as advertised. Put my picture in the window because I was the first one to actually lose 10 pounds in six weeks. Now I want to lose 10 pounds in 3 weeks, most of them in the first week! Yikes.

    I take famatindine, I think its just Pepcid. Prescribed by gastro guy, costs $4 at Walmart. Generic. I've never had trouble with it, but everyone is different! And I have to take a boatload of thyroid meds to see any difference, so again, everyone is different! Hope you get it figured out soon! Leez, I never heard of hcg stimulating thyroid. Thank you!

    Popping in to say congrats on losses, y'all and today is my first load day of this final (for now) round. Famotidine is just Pepcid-you could take half in the morning and other half in the evening (is it 40 mg tablets? 20 mg and 10 mg are available OTC). I always found that my heartburn goes away on p2 if I stay away from tomatoes and citrus. I haven't had any heartburn since the start of my last round on Thanksgiving '22.

    The think about the famotidine 40 mg. Once a day Bottle said take at bedtime. Doctor said take in morning when I take thyroid on empty stomach. Brochure says with it without food. I’m going back to taking it at night. This morning I will see if it is just thyroid meds causing strong heartbeat or tonight on famotidine Yesterday I had episode in morning late so ate my first meal before 11 and stopped shaking and racing heart calmed down. Had another great nights sleep
    Today 147. Down a bit. I think this is vlcd 8 total 6.7

    Thx for info. Yes it is 40 mg Famotidine ..Pepcid. So perhaps culprit is hcg snd thyroid meds. Will see this morning. I stopped the Asthma puffer and prednisone because needed to find out what caused nausea snd sickness snd feeling flu like

    Btw when I look at your posts I’m confused. I see u have maintained really well and your load wt is 139. Are u just trying to go for a lower goal? Much success to you

    Yes, I have about 12-15 lbs to lose yet, thank you! You can take it at night, but if that isn't working you can split the dose up.

    Good to see you, tmott! I started this round at 139.8, I think, point something... So will race ya! You have done awesome! Lost 7 pounds on P4? Yowza. Like you, I have done the Big Loss, now 10 years ago. Lost around 45 pounds in 2013 after trying everything for YEARS. I'm a low thyroid-er too, so since hcg stimulates thyroid, that's probably why this works for me when nothing else does. However, I have done sooooo many rounds in the past 10 years to keep close to my goal. Mostly, I've hit P2 when I get 10-15 pounds up, thankfully. Got 25 pounds up twice. I've heard that hcg is a 'yo-yo' diet. Aren't they all? I'd call it maintenance.

    I take the generic Pepcid 20 mg morning and night. I have a hiatal hernia that flares up like a gall bladder attack if I don't, along with heartburn. I've been taking that for about 15 years, and it has kept things under control. But I still have heartburn when I eat badly. My own fault there!

    No loss today. Boo hoo. But no gain either. So that is what drinking on hcg looks like!

    PS: HATE TIME CHANGE DAY! I could NOT get up this morning. And I'm tired already!

    PPS: Not hungry starting at about 4 pm yesterday, Day 4. Like someone threw a switch. So relieved. Just like I expected: 4th day, 4 pm.

    I don't really track that. I take the morning one with my thyroid meds, half an hour before I get up. (I'm a sloooow waker upper!) and the nightly one before I go to bed, so a while afterI eat. But I was not told to do either. P

    Not up. Not down. TESS is stuck.Grrr.I am not going to say I didn't let out a little squeak of disappointment when I stepped on TESS this morning, but am NOT going to be discouraged.

    Wthout TMI, my body offloaded evereeeeeething yesterday, so, once again, Weight Loss and Physics--not related. I THINK my tape measure is down a goodly amount---or, I am pulling the tape tighter in my frustration. Never know.

    2 day stall in first week---NOW do I think those martinis were worth it? ..... ...... ..... (thinking.....) ..... Absolutely! Hehehehehheheheheeeee

    I track my food in Carbmanager, putting all the protein in the Lunch section, veggies in the breakfast section, so I can see how they break down. Yesterday I was at 420 Protein calories,(472 total) so a little short of my 475 prtotein goal, but 80g of protein, 11g fat, 5 net carbs.An egg for breakfast, tuna on chopped lettuce and brocolli for lunch, celery as a snack, but only a little, tilapia on fresh wilted spinach. I can't do better than that!

    This is day 10 vlcd. Up slightly. Either .2 or .4 depending on which scale I track. I use two diff scales because I travel with one snd want to be sure it is semi accurate So after 10 days average is .6 a day loss at the moment. My normal average last few years is about .44. After a cpl weeks my average usually goes downward. Hunger or no hunger is perfect. Only very mildly hunger close to meal time. Third day with no racing heart or gasping for air is truly a blessing. Prob shows me issue is prob GERD. Took 40 mg rx last night at bedtime. Tonight will prob take at dinner since it said not to lie down right after taking it . @Pearly. You know your weight will come off. The protocol (or your version) always works for you. Mine works for me. Wait it out snd plow thru. Don
