    Here we go, p2d1 141.6. Loading was fun, took kids swimming at a hotel and enjoyed a huge breakfast yesterday.

    Pearly, I did my first 3 rounds back in 2010-2011 and lost over 65 lbs at that point. Then, a couple maintenance rounds in 2013,14,16, lol. Really let myself go after 2nd divorce, etc so super glad to be back on track with healthy eating. P3 and P4 were a breeze for me this last time.

    Thanks again for letting me join in on your thread. I'm part of a couple of FB groups, but as an old-schooler like me, this forum is SO much better in my opinion.

    Looks like there’s three of us pretty close to start. Except I started earlier. Day 12 for me vlcd 146.6. So down 6.8. About halfway to goal. Due to show schedule I will have a shorter schedule than usual so will be stopping before end of March and perhaps do a short round after 4th of July to drop down a little. Last round I dropped a few lbs in P4 but managed to add more back during holidays . Happy to know that hcg still works at my age.

    Good morning, all! Glad to see you each and everyone.

    I'm down a bit, .6, which for the last day of my first week, is not spectacular, but I'm glad to see it. My usual pattern is 6 pounds in the first 10 days, so I'm doing ok to be down 6.2 on day 7. I almost NEVER lose on week 3 and only do a week three in order to follow protocol, so I better do well this next week! I'm in that Set Point Area where I bounced around the whole of my last try so hope I can break that pattern.

    My big fear is I have gotten immune to hcg after all these years. Sigh. Okay, will NOT think that way. Yet.

    Rose and tmott, we are all cruisng on the same river. Keep up the good work. You are inspiring!

    Forgot to take shot this morning so took it around 1:30 pm. Messes up my schedule. Guess I could have done a skip day but need to get 23 inj before I end the round snd it is close. Thinking tomorrow morning will take shot at 11. Then thursday
    Back at 9 am to get back on track. Hope no hunger issues

    Good morning! Down 2 lbs exactly after first day of p2. Expected more of a drop, but.....to be fair, I ate only whole foods and no junk in between rounds so not as much water weight as last time, I suppose.

    Pearly, I can't help but feel the same once in a while...like, will it not work this time??? Which is silly because we all know it works. Gives me a little panic to think it might not work because this is the ONLY thing that seems to work for me.

    Rose, hopefully no hunger issues for you! It shouldn't make much of a difference if you've previously skipped doses.

    Day 13 146.4. Only .2 loss but I will take it. Sometimes I have a gain so this works for me. Down 7 lbs from load so bout 6 more lbs to lose by March 28. That will be my last injection due to my schedule. Plan to start p3 on March 31.

    Rose, glad you are down. You are doing awesome. I have a bit over 6 to do too.

    tmott, you are right. No reason to fear! 2 pounds after day 1 is fabulous!

    I am finally down under 132---by .2. BUT I am so happy to see it. I am down 1.6 from yesterday, so that is a thrill. Day 8 or first day of 2nd week. I got stuck at 132 last time and then went up and never went down again, so even if it s just .2, at least I broke that barrier/set point/evil game TESS has been playing on me.

    The last two days I have been super tired and nothing seemed to go right. I had a second shingles shot on Monday and they warned me my arm would hurt and I might feel 'flu like symptoms." Honestly, I pretty much never have any reactions from shots, so I just shrugged it off. But wow, I felt like I'd been hit by a truck by Monday evening.I sort of wandered around pulling my teddy by its left foot like a toddler yesterday and was in tears over some floating shelves that just arrived being the wrong color. Sheesh. Flu like symptoms, my ....

    I set my alarm for an hour later this mornin, because I could----no scheduled events until 10 a.m on Wednesdays!---- and I feel like a million bucks today. PTL!!

    I skipped my water aerbics yesterday and already have my suit on today.

    If I can only keep going. Keep going. Keep going. reminds me...

    PS: I realized I have not been at this weight, within my Window from a round more than a year ago, since Christmas! Er, since before the Holidays! Ummm, if we consider Halloween the start of the Holidays. Sigh...Columbus Day? Ok, Since Labor Day! Anyway. Yay.

    @pearly. You are doing your losses very quickly. I’m never fast but steady. However I do eat two fruits each day and hit max calories 500. Very satisfied mostly eating asparagus and cabbage for veggies (very filling) and tilapia or chicken breast as protein. Every couple of days do shrimp.

    Down .4 today is day 14 I like even numbers. Scale 146 so down 7.4 Last years liw was 141 but I dropped to 137 in p4 so hope to see similar results.

    I was just about to ask what y'all eat on a regular basis, so thanks for that, Rose. I do asparagus almost every day and tomatoes. Last night I had 96/4 ground beef and spinach. Was really good. Last round I only had ground beef a couple of times, and I planned on following that this round also. Mostly chicken and shrimp is what I will be eating. I did 2 fruits first day, but not yesterday. Still not impressed with my losses...3.4 lbs over 2 days. Last round, I had lost 6 lbs by this point.

    Also, I have noticed I am more hungry after I eat and that lasts for a good hour or so. I know it is too early in my round yet, but I don't want to be losing the wrong type of fat. Will prob lower to 125 iu if it doesn't go away.

    Hope y'all have better losses than me

    Rose, I remember you are always the Little Engine that Could! You lose consistently, and I loose every once in a while but sort of save it up for a big blast. Some rounds I remember I weighed every three days because day one and two were upsie downsie and discouraging and then I finally got a decent loss on day 3 ... or 4!

    I should probably still do that as today, I wasl allllllmossst down .2 (whoopee) but at the last second TESS tore that out my hands and gave me a POINT ZERO loss for today after that good loss yesterday. I was sooooo good.

    I also usually do this with two fruits, sticking to berries and apples for the most part. But since I had such a crummy time last last month, I thought I'd better stick closer to the P2.0 protocol I follow and not include fruits. As the Low Thyroid Queen, I worry about missing carbs too much, but worth a try. I will add in berries again soon, probably. I have to take a fruit bowl to book club on Saturday, and if there are leftovers, i'm not throwing them out! Meanwile, instead of 30 carbs a day, I've been hitting 7 to 11.

    I may be adopting a BABY! I have that Little Alien Mama Schnauzer, and she seems so bored and lonely. She knows I am the Chief Cook around here but after a year, I am still not her Mama. I have been looking for an adult rescue dog to keep her company, (and me!) but most that I find are as messed up as she is, and I may foster some if I can get her happier, but I have not found a nice-family- dog-needs-a-home type Schnauzer.

    Yesterday, I was offered a female mini Schnauzer puppy. 12 weeks old, WHITE, like my girls who passed this last year. We are letting the dogs meet today and I just hope Piper is nice to her. I have had many Puppy Mill adopters tell me the mamas do not get to keep their pups more than 4 weeks, so a puppy to raise does wonders for them. With my luck, she will take one look and Roar: "Not another *&&^* PUPPY!"

    It's been a loooong time since i had a puppy. Like 6th grade. Most of my dogs have been rescued or rehomed and came to me, the youngest at 8 months. This should make life interesting. It's not for sure but I'm a little excited. Cant' remember when THAT happened lately, either.

    tmott! You posted while I typed. 6 in 3 days is wild. 3+ is fine! I usually am happy if I can lose 6 in the first 10 days. I am ahead of my curve because I did a round last month, and this was supposed to be coming back from a PI, so I had already lost most of this the first time. I ended up starting over. I'm more than a little rogue.

    I ate 93/7 beef and chicken breasts last time around but this time I am doing more Tiliapia. I wilt fresh spinach to put it on or last night, riced cauliflowr. I have half of a tomato with a hard boild egg (2.0 protocol) for breakfast, and sometimes broil the other half for supper. I eat shrimp if I go out to eat and it's availble. Maybe when it warms up I can face it but I don't really know how to cook it, just eat precooked shrimp cocktail.

    Now, don't beat yourself up for losing over 3 pounds so far. That is over a POUND A DAY. Wait to beat yourseff up when you have POINT ZERO loss like me today. LOL.

    OH, AND IT TAKES ABOUT 4 -6 DAYS FOR THE HCG TO GET REALLY INTO YOUR SYSTEM. I see the hunger turn off at P2 D4 at 4 pm!

    Morning, y'all! I want to see pics of the puppy(ies)! We are a cat household...thanks, kids. House is too small for both, anyway.

    I got too impatient and lowered my dose to 125 iu this morning. I know better, I should have waited and skipped a day, but....too late now. Hunger was the worst it's ever been on any round I've done...and that's a ton. I did lose 1.2 lbs, so at 137.0. this morning. I just can't deal with being actually starving like that. Hoping tomorrow is better. The only rogue thing I did last round was have Fage 0% instead of protein maybe 3 times. I know on other rounds that I've done that, like a lot, it caused me to have massive sugar cravings and go off the deep end with foods. I've been 100 percent disciplined since starting last round in November. No bread or junk, not really even on loading days. I had a bag of grain-free cookies and that's it for junk food since before Thanksgiving. The hunger I had yesterday is enough to make me go off the deep end, also. It was insane!!! I now know why people cheat out of absolute hunger...I almost did. Oh, I also did a couple of unplanned p2 'steak days.' 4-5 oz of lean steak and an apple in the evening and nothing else. Always lost a pound when I did that.

    I buy the frozen precooked shrimp, thaw a big handful, then weigh it out. Super easy since it is already cooked, it is just a matter of how you want to season and heat it up. My 10 year old (the baby lol) will eat 'em frozen. Loves em. I have used the air fryer, the oven, and boiled in a little water. Always with Old Bay seasoning. I can't do any other seafood, really.....when I make fish, half of it ends up in the trash. I can gag down salmon cooked in butter off of the diet, but that's about it. Leaves me with shrimp, chicken, and once in a while, beef. Broccoli and cauli are my fave veggies...steamed is heaven, but I can't bring myself to eat it on p2. I'm too afraid it will cause a gain or stall.
