    Pearly, I still struggle with hunger so I feel ya. I do not have that horrible, gnawing, eat your arm off hunger that I did a week ago, but I also don't have that sweet spot of no hunger that I had in all of my other rounds. It's manageable, but makes me think I might be losing the wrong type of fat. Skipping on Saturday, so we'll see. I would suggest you skip a day also.

    I am down 0.8 lbs to 132.6. Today is day ten. Slow and steady, right??

    This is day 21 vlcd and I’m ready to transition to P3. I am starting to think some of my issues with rapid heart beat snd anxiety issues partially due to thyroid (which have been pretty normal with 75 mcg levothytoxin) snd might just end this round early to see if it might be partial issue. I will see after shift to P3 if symptoms might subside. Last bloodwork in October showed normal thyroid

    Whoeeee--- everyone is teeeny around heyah!

    tmott, I hear you on the skip day. I was going to do it today, BUT! I'm only 5 days away from the end of my round and I do NOT want to extend even by 24 hours. Skipping also means one more day, right? I would skip if that meant I could skip the injection but do the same number of vlcds, but thinking it does not. LOL. You are just chugging along!

    Rose, Leez said that hcg stimulates thyroid, so if that is what is happening, once you are off of it, you should see relief. You are so steadfast on this diet. I am honored to be following in your footsteps!

    I WAS better yesterday, but not my usual rock solid Eat? I have to Eat? not hungry state. I ate lunch earlier than the day before, but when done I was still hungry.

    I got through that, and ate dinner an hour earlier cuz I had to go play Bunko last evening. Great. I was bullet proof at bunko and added to my list of I didn't eat... I didn't eat... I didn't eat.... I thought there would be snacks but the committee brought a full on dinner with five different entrees and designer cupcakes. Sheesh. I didn't eat entrees, I didn't eat designer cupcakes. There must have been 11 bottles of wine. I drank W-A-T-E-R.

    But when I got home at 9, I was hungry. I scoured my Carbmanager trying to find an excuse to eat anything, but I was at 480 protein calls out of 475, 25 carbs (dang yogurt!) out of 30 and 20 g fat. So, nope. NOTHING. So I just hung on.

    Today I am down 1.2. A POUND DAY IN WEEK THREE. This never happens to me.

    So, bottom line, I'm not skipping.

    Daisy the puppy is being a bit more gentle with her Elder, except when she forgets and jumps on her. Piper then tells her when to jump and how high. Piper is spending time on the sofa on a her fave sheepskin because the puppy can't get up there (yet) so is saved from nudges, bumps, and wrestling attempts. She is a bit better but boy howdee she is good at not eating the part of the food where I stick the meds. I bury it in her soft food, sprinkle parm cheese (the only cheese in the house right now and it was in the back of the freezer) and she eats around it! She got the steroids down, though, and they make her hungry, so I'll try again later this morning.

    I didn't eat...SHE didn't eat... well Daisy makes up for it. She eats every bite of anything she can! She is teething and gets frozen carrots and apple slices to keep her from chewing up my fingers etc.

    PS: Today is Day 16, Day 21 is next Tuesday, and 3 days of transition means P3 starts April 1! Not like I am counting the hours or anything.

    PearlyMae, I find a cup of hot chicken bouillon helps me with hunger, when I don't want to eat.

    Pearly, my dearly departed dog used to think pills wrapped in a little piece of cheese were treats and down them whole. Not that you can wrap a pill in grated parmesan, but you may be able to slightly melt a glob of it and coat it around a pill. But if those meds are liquid, I have no ideas. lol

    Thanks, Gig! I'll try that. I just need a little sumpin sumpin. I'm like Winnie the Pooh that way.

    Thank you, Kar. This little girl is a puppymill mama rescue and has no idea what a treat is. The only thing she will take from my hand is a squirt of Ready Whip which she will occasionally lick out of my palm. But, I got the liquid forms of meds because she eats the pate loaf style dog food now, and I can sort of squirt it into the loaf, also can hide pills if I crumble them up well. However, one med is not only not dog friendly flavor, but must taste and smell bad from her reaction to it. It is also a big dose that is hard to hide in such a small portion that she eats. But the parm cheese seems to mask at least the smell, plus the steroids she is on make her super hungry, so if I wait a bit and let her have 'seconds' she gobbles it up. She is healing and a tad less grouchy. :-) She no longer growls at the puppy when she comes near. Only when she jumps on her. Can't blame her there.

    AFM! I cannot believe it. Down another .4. This has never happened to me in Week 3 since my very first rounds. Mostly I bounce around up and down .2 all week. Even Week 2, I only usually lose about 2 pounds all week. But for Day 17, I am down 11.8. I was only down 6 at the end of Week 1. I have had leftover pot roast the past 2 days. I have been eating a lot of fish but needed to finish up the pot roast so tried that both on a salad and as an evening meal. I was afraid beef would slow me down but only had 3 ounce at a time, which seems small, but was plenty. Whew.

    If I can just stay here and not go up I can not complain!

    ONWARD!

    So tomorrow i officially start p3 but truth be told today i forgot to bring lunch to my show even tho i packed it and was starving these last 20 hrs. So i bought grilled brazilian sirloin steak with salad and salad had oil Also 3 fruits today so pretty sure calories were much over 500:for third transition day. Officially 72 hrs is 8:am tomorrow but really ate too much today. This morning weight was 145 which means only a 8.4 lb loss for the round but i do not mind, I will do another short round in July again and hopefully will get in that 138:range by losing another 7-8 lbs then . My orig. goal was 140 but i knew i didnt have enough time to get there. Im using 145 as my liw since i didnt weigh Wed morning and that was when I took my last shot and i was prob around 145:4 that day,

    Hi Rose, does that happen when you are using hcg? The P2 diet is like fasting, and the body tends to excrete more sodium when fasting. Some people get headaches, dizziness, fuzzy thinking on P2 and have to add salt to their diet.

    There is low-sodium bouillon, but watch out for added sugar. I use Lite Salt, which is regular salt plus potassium chloride.

    Today first official day p3 145.6. Weighing almost 1-1/2 hrs earlier than norm. Can’t say up for sure because I never weighed last inj day but still using 145 as guidepost. Today packed my lunch but will still have that tasty Brazilian steak again.

    Rose, yay for p3! Hope you've been feeling better also.

    Me, skip day today, thankfully. Time to get this hunger in check. This past week has been so rough. I am used to the normal cravings and mental battle of p2, but I was NOT prepared for the physical one. I'm so afraid of losing the wrong type of fat. And, looking at my stomach....yikes, may just be. I did not have this big of a flabby belly when I was this weight a few years ago.

    Yikes! We are all in a little bit of trouble today!

    I'm up, too, .8 which was my losses for the past two days! Yeesh. I was LETTER PERFECT yesterday, so did not deserve that. I had no ancilliary foods to get through being hungry, and my protein and carb counts were pretty fabulous. If anything I was short on protein. (17g carbs, 16g fat only 384cal protein out of 475, total cals 496.) My Apple watch said I used up 678 calories yesterday, so I should have been negative cals!

    But...

    I did "pool-a-size" for 60 minutes, which is just bouncing and stretching in a pool, so not strenuous, but also had a 30 minute swim lesson. I finally swam a lap! Actually 3 lengths so a lap and a half. Someone asked me if it was without stopping. Uh, no. It was WITH stopping, and panting my guts out after each length, but I DID it. I have been taking lessons in the little pool where the water is warm and mostly kids taking lessons (like 2 year olds!) and finally graduated to the 'big' pool, regulation Olympic size. I have been pretty intimidated by it, water colder, all the 'young jocks' doing laps, but once in and moving, not cold at all. I am training to be an OLD JOCK.

    So, I am pretty tired today. I'm not stiff or sore, just moving slow. So this is not a gain, it is a FLUKTUATION. By Monday, I'll be back down. I won't count on going below 128, though. I sorta wanted another pound or so to make my window further below 130, cuz it is soooooo easy to blast right up to that 132 set point.

    All I can do is ALL I can do.

    Everyone is working on solutions, so no advice. Just encouragement. YOU GOT THIS.
