I have been doing Bone Broth from Dr. Kellyann, or you can make your own. It is great too do on Intermittent Fasting days. Her type of Fasting is from say 7 pm until 10 or 11 am next day or one can do Full Fasting days as well. I know it has some Sodium but not sure if it would bother you or not. I have also bought it in Powder form from other places and boil it up myself to add to Foods. It's just better than any grocery store bought.
Congrats on getting to Phase 3 Rose. It sounds like you have had a rough go, but done well. I sure hope you start feeling better.
I am doing okay so far. Monday will be a week in on Phase 2.

Hi Rose, why do you say that I shouldn't use Lite Salt? I use it to get more potassium, because I eat very low carb (under 30 g/day)
Morning! Hope everybody is having a great weekend. Yesterday was my skip day and last afternoon and all night I felt better than I have since the last skip day, so today I lowered to 100 ius. Hope that's not too low. It was such a relief! I actually wasn't hungry and was able to focus on other things. Now, I'm worried the weight I've lost up to now has been normal fat. I read that normal fat loss is seen in face, neck, and chest. I can see my chest bones. 100 percent fact when I was this weight years ago, my belly was almost flat. Now, I can grab two handfuls, so I feel like I have 20 lbs to lose there, not just a few. Ugh. I guess time will tell. Anybody have any experience in losing the wrong type of fat?

Rose, sodium is a very personal thing. Some can tolerate, lots can't. I keep a large amount of salt in my body at all times, so rarely notice a dfference! Kidding. LOL. There is unsalted chicken and beef broth that I use for cooking, which basically tastes like.... water with some sort of unidentified flavor in it. But I use it for soups, and then I can add salt to the surface when I eat it. If you are going to use salt, it's better to put a little on top where you can taste it, than cook with it where it blends with everything else and takes a lot to know it's there. But then, I am a salt craving idiot, so if you rarely use salt anyway, the unsalted, not low sodium, unsalted broth might work for you. It's usually found on the bottom shelf under the regular broth and low sodium ones.
tmott, Id lowered to 100 iu last round in late January and February. I lost 8 pounds then gained back 4 overnight, and never lost them again until I started all over again this time. I was not that hungry, but did not show much loss in inches at all. This time I've lost over 10 and showed actual noticible loss on my tum. I went back to 125 which I haven't used for a few years, thinking I needed to keep going down in order to keep from getting imune. Instead, I think I was just starving myself untill my body said, nope. I quit. I know someone else will chime in, but sometimes its not about going down on dose. Sometimes its about going UP. Also, you don't have to go up or down a lot at a time. 5-10 "lines" might do it.
AFM, ugh. Having a disappointing weekend. I'm up again, .4. I had some popcorn at Disney on Ice, but I could certainly have a list of things "I didn't eat...." Bottom line is that at the endof the day, I was still within my carb count (25/30) and was low again on protein calories (400 out of 475.) I thought I had remedied the salt etc from the popcorn (Hey, I'm HUMAN) by drinking loads of water and (TMI) offloading it in the night, plus 9 hours sleep.
Nope.
I still have today tomorrow and Tuesday plus 3 transition days to straighten this out. I'd be more panicked, but I'm wearing the same pair of jeans I was wearing two days ago, so it is just a number. A number I don't like as much as the other number, (still HUMAN) but it's all good.

Thank you, Pearly. I do believe I have found my perfect dose at 100 ius, tho. Am I really sitting here drinking coffee simply for enjoyment rather than to fill up my starving belly?? Why, yes, I am. I had to force myself to eat dinner. Was not hungry. This is such a relief, but now I feel like this is truly like day 2 rather than 14 because I was hungry the entire time. Sigh. I am going to push this vial out to 28 days if possible so I have enough to go a full round, kinda want to have 30 days at this new dose for a stabilization as amazing as last round.

Dang, up again, only .2 but that's 3 ups in a row after a mostly amazing round. I thought I did awesome yesterday, although I was a little over my protein goal for once, by about 50 calories. I've been under too many times, so I worked on it a bit and went overboard. Sigh.
Okay, on the positive side: I am wearing all of my clothes again, without shapewear. I even went out and bought a $100 worth of athletic wear at Goodwill and ARC thrift stores. More swim shorts and extra tankini tops, plus several 'athletic wear material' long sleeved t-shirts to wear under or over my swim top for warmth. I got a couple of smart looking lightweight jacket/hoodies and some matching leggings.
I had two pairs of 'modern' Fab-letic style leggings before but rarely wear them in public.My niece gave them to me as 'hand me ups.' She is 17 and we do NOT wear the same size, but these were too big for her and one is several colors of purple and the other is black with stars on them. My other leggins are plain dark brown or black and I wore them with LONG tunics and boots. So me buying more "crazy" ones, is a real step in confidence. I plan to wear them to the Y and back to swim. I noticed in jeans and a sweatshirt I look a little homeless dragging in and out. I may be 'too old' to wear this stuff, but only from the FRONT.
My mirror must have lost weight too, becuase i have to admit, I look downright tiny in this stuff. Who knew? 10 pounds makes a difference, but a big part of the difference is attitude.
i'm not changing my ticker yet. A miracle may still happen. Tomorrow is day 21.

Weighed super early this morning. 145.6 so slightly up but in P3 I have some ups and downs. Main thing is not going over. I upped my calorie count quite a bit with fatty sirloin
