    I feel your frustration

Same weight as yesterday, but still no hunger, soooo I'll take it. Thinking of having 0% Fage for dinner instead of normal just to see if it helps. It always has in the past. Have a good day, y'all!

Last Dose Day for Pearly Mae!

I am down the .6 from the last two days, but still hanging on to the (PRE-popcorn) .8 gain on Saturday. I really wanted to have my LDW 2 full pounds below 130 so I could have a huge alarm bell go off there, but will have to keep it to a 1.2 window for now. I know that 130 is about three bites away from 132 and 132 is 10 calories away from 140! At least that has been my experience.

BUT, today is the last day of P2, so hurrah for that! P3 starts with April. My birthday is 2 weeks away, so still in P3 when cake rolls around. My sister's bd is 10 days later, so I think I will suggest we wait and celebrate together. Last year we were going to do that, because I had a bad cold the week of my birthday but by her birthday, SHE had the bad cold, so we never really celebrated either. Just handed prezzies through the door and said FEEL BETTER instead of Happy Birthday.

Rose, I understand your frustraton at posting. Be assured that even a quick HI! from you is precious to us!

tmott, sometimes just a change makes a difference, so hope the 0% Fage is good! I could never stand it. For yogurt, it makes good library paste, to my taste. I do like Greek Gods Plain, though, and sometimes it sort of resets my fluctuations if I have a full day of that.

Shouts out to Leez, Kar, gig debRN and Jayk, anybody else I am missing. I know you are out there and I appreciate you lots and lots. Your support is a gift.

A momentary quiet here. My nephew stayed overnight, but is face down in his phone watching Facebook videos, my old lady dog has been out and had breakfast and is sleeping off her food coma (she is on steroids for her slipped disc and is chowing down big time and then has to sleep it off!) and my puppy, after attacking my toes endlessly, has finally sucumbed to a nap. So fun to watch her go-go-go-go conk. She plays and plays and then passes out wherever she ends up at the time.

Making steak and eggs for my nephew and I this morning as soon as he surfaces. I have so many editing projects going on, I am a little overwhelmed but once i get them all caught up it will feel good. And fill my wallet a bit.

Just because I am going into P3 soon, don't expect to lose me.

I'm just moving FORWARD, not ONWARD!

Great to see everyone's P2 victories. May the good reports continue!

Pearlie, your post made me laugh, ^_^ I am intimately acquainted with that frustrating P3 phenomenon. So true.

Wanted to pop in and mention that if you are using a PC, there is an extension called Text Area Cache. It records your typing as you are making a post and saves it. If your post disappears, you can open it up and find your text, and copy it to paste it back in again. It has been a wonderful backup tool for me. I know how frustrating it is to be typing a long post and have it poof away on you. I used to use another one called "Lazarus". I thought that was an awesome name for a recovery app. ^_^

Rose, sodium is a very personal thing. Some can tolerate, lots can't. I keep a large amount of salt in my body at all times, so rarely notice a dfference! Kidding. LOL. There is unsalted chicken and beef broth that I use for cooking, which basically tastes like.... water with some sort of unidentified flavor in it. But I use it for soups, and then I can add salt to the surface when I eat it. If you are going to use salt, it's better to put a little on top where you can taste it, than cook with it where it blends with everything else and takes a lot to know it's there. But then, I am a salt craving idiot, so if you rarely use salt anyway, the unsalted, not low sodium, unsalted broth might work for you. It's usually found on the bottom shelf under the regular broth and low sodium ones.

tmott, Id lowered to 100 iu last round in late January and February. I lost 8 pounds then gained back 4 overnight, and never lost them again until I started all over again this time. I was not that hungry, but did not show much loss in inches at all. This time I've lost over 10 and showed actual noticible loss on my tum. I went back to 125 which I haven't used for a few years, thinking I needed to keep going down in order to keep from getting imune. Instead, I think I was just starving myself untill my body said, nope. I quit. I know someone else will chime in, but sometimes its not about going down on dose. Sometimes its about going UP. Also, you don't have to go up or down a lot at a time. 5-10 "lines" might do it.

AFM, ugh. Having a disappointing weekend. I'm up again, .4. I had some popcorn at Disney on Ice, but I could certainly have a list of things "I didn't eat...." Bottom line is that at the endof the day, I was still within my carb count (25/30) and was low again on protein calories (400 out of 475.) I thought I had remedied the salt etc from the popcorn (Hey, I'm HUMAN) by drinking loads of water and (TMI) offloading it in the night, plus 9 hours sleep.

    Nope.

I still have today tomorrow and Tuesday plus 3 transition days to straighten this out. I'd be more panicked, but I'm wearing the same pair of jeans I was wearing two days ago, so it is just a number. A number I don't like as much as the other number, (still HUMAN) but it's all good.

    Onward!

Morning! Glad to see everyone hanging in there.

Not to be whiny, but man I was starving yesterday morning and into the afternoon. Like hungry. It went away into the evening and I felt normal again. All signs point to high dose again, which is crazy. I lowered dose to 90 ius this morning-yesterday was 3rd day at 100 ius. Not sure I like going that low, never have had to before. I wish Grammy was still around. I saw a post where she said people tend to gain weight back if dose is under 100 ius. I'm definitely not out of abnormal fat, can still grab 2 big handfuls on gut. Feels like that hasn't gone down at all.

Sorry for the whiny post, guys. Just have always had perfect dose and no complaints, so I guess I'm due for this. I would appreciate any feedback or advise anyone wants to give.

Day 5 P3. One lb over LIW. Not stressing as I am eating well. My P3 I sometimes go under LIW and then bump up but pretty sure it will be fine. I think I remember having some issues with cheese occasionally but Monday was just sodium overload so yesterdays reduction helped.

tmott, that seems waaay low. I hope Leez or Kar or someone who knows better than me will jump in and help you. I had no success at 100, and 125 is the sweet spot for many.

Also, if you are going to lower it, why not try 120, 110 etc first? You must be almost done, but if you are not where yoiu want to be, maybe cycle a 3-week P3 or PI and come back and try again after everythin sort of clears out and you can see what will work later. This is a journey, not a sprint!

My first day of transition and of course, I had the largest loss since week 1. Crazy. Down 1.6, which wipes out that darned .8 gain on Saturday, and finally puts me at the window I wanted. I will take 127.2 as my LDW, unless of course, I gain it all back tomorrow and then I will go back to the 128.8! LOL. I'm flexible!

Everybody, just chill. You got this because you are here actively doing this. Yes, there are ups and downs (and strangely, here we like the downs better!) but it smooths out over the long run. I have been doing this now for 10 years, and I get frustrated because I can't seem to get a set point at my preferred weight. But I have been at what I consider my healthy weight probably 75% of each year, and have not gone back the original 50 pounds I lost in all that time. One year I tracked every single day and I gained and lost 100 pounds one or two pounds at a time. Up one, down one, up 2 down 1, down 2 up one net gain: zero. I probably had a up 10 down 10 period in there too.

The point is, you are taking care of yourself. That's a win.

    Hugs to all!

    Onward!
    p

PS: Darned right I'm changing my Ticker. I can always change it back!
