PearlyMae, you could try a postal scale for the puppy; or put a bowl or platter on a food scale, zero it, then weigh the puppy. But often the best way is to weigh you + puppy then subtract your weight.

In Utah we get lots of pm2.5 pollution during inversions, the only thing that has helped me is a HEPA filter unit. I'm hoping it helps with my tree pollen allergies too.
We have not heard of those patches. I'll look it up and see if available. She is actually in flight now from Toronto to London. Thank you for the suggestion.

(as I sit in bed sneezing from allergies). I have a room air filter and a room humidifier... So I am almost Monk now. Lol.

Long day... Off the daughter goes. We spring forward tonight and I am going to set the alarm for when she arrives in London. I just don't know what time I set... Do I set for our current time or new time?!

So bit the bullet and both weighed myself and tape measure.
One inch at hips gone. That's a start.
8 pounds down since October starting hrt. I dont credit hcg with 8 pounds, but I feel my body reshifting so I'll take it.
So this is my menopausal, hrt, hcg journey so far.

Watching some Grimm and waiting for daughter to land safely in London...

    Have a good evening

Brick, they are great for nausea. I'm 140 lbs and cut the patches in half (saving the 2bd half) because that's enough for me. They help with many forms of nausea - I used Scop patches for scuba diving, boating, and most recently post- anesthesia nausea. Typical side effects are dry mouth and pupil dilation. I hope they work for her.

i’m lazy today so just copying and pasting from my post on Leez thread.
151.2 so 6.4 down from load weight. when i first stepped on scale it was 150.2 but stepped back on and it went up. i kept higher weight as otherwise i will think i’m up tomorrow we will see. another issue i thought i had some unmixed hcg from last year i got from colin watson. but checked exp date and it was Jan 2024. decided to mix it up anyway as i dont have enough needles to finish my round so would rather try this than switch back to homeopathic. i took this morning and feel it is working. time will tell meanwhile i did order from my usual o/s supplier but prob wont come in time so saving it for next year.

The patches are great for motion sickness, tho they are known to cause drowsiness and blur memory of what happened while you use them. For a long flight, who cares? But when I was a tour director and took groups on cruises, people complained that they had a choice between being sea sick and paying for a cruise they couldn't remember when they got home! I don't think it is that severe, but a drug free alternative is acu-pressure wrist bands. One brand name is Sea Bands, found at most drug stores on the bottom shelf under Dramamine. I suffer severely from any kind motion. I even got sick once standing on a dock! I found the Sea Bands to be very effective, enabling me to go on cruises, and stand up facing the back on a bus while reading! Airplanes, no problem. I can even read the inflight magazine. Lots of people told me it was just the power of suggestion, but I had enough instances where I thought I had my bands on correctly, began to get nauseated, and realized one had slipped from it's place. Once it was back where it belonged, the nausea abated. That is not just wishful thinking as I was thinking they were working. I could not figure out why so many people tried to tell me it was all in my head and they did not really work. Did they WANT me to be sick? Anyway, inexpensive and drug free. Just another idea.

Good morning Lovelies! It's been a few years since I've been here but I see some familiar people.
I had a hysterectomy in October and both ovaries removed. I didn't think I needed HRT and boy was I wrong. Medically induced menopause is brutal and up I went almost 10lbs. I've been on HRT since Feb 1 and the gain has stopped but now to shake lose those extra pounds. Back to the old faithful HCG for that! I'm loaded and ready to go.

PearlyMae, those wristbands didn't work for me: my wrists are too small. I also never had the problems you.describe with the Scop patches, likely because I cut them in half.

Two nights of interrupted sleep with an early doc appointment for hubby and I am dragging. I sooooooooo desperately want sugar and carbs. You know that low energy drive... I settled for a vanilla lemon water with stevia. I'm pretending it a Dr pepper. Lol.

Daughter checked in, jet lag gone after 12 hours of sleep. This is a week of rest before her girlfriend's wedding week. Then two days in London and three weeks in an air bb in the country...

    Oopps... Dinner time

    Onward

I am glad the patches work for you! The bands I have are stretchy and come in varying sizes. Since I wear a size 4 ring my wrists are pretty small. If I wrap my fingers around one, thumb and finger overlap to the first knuckle on both. LOL. But so glad the patch helped you with meds. That is a wonderful use for them!
