Thread: Mid May Madness!!

    Today is my 2nd day waking up with no loss I am not sure what has happened.

    Today, I am making extra sure I check my food ingredients for hidden sugar and check my new deodorant for oil. I thought my new deodorant might be the cause since I switched to roll-on 3 days ago. But, as I check the ingredients (and some require a Masters degree in science "hydroglycemicacetaphinegyl" wha???) I do not see any oil.

    Other than that, none of my food has changed since Day 1. I know my breasts are super-sore, so I hope I can chalk this up to TOM coming next week . . .

    I'm sure it's probably that your TOM is coming. You'll soon be surprised by giant losses!

    It's awfully quiet in here: How's everyone doing? I've been doing great--down 9 lb from preload weight (P2D14), and 12 from VLCD1. No real problems. I decided to try cocoa crack to satisfy my urge for chocolate (just a little itty bit) and so far, it hasn't had any effect that I can see. I know...shame on me, but it's sooooo good! Hope everyone else is doing well?

    I woke up with a 2.4 lb loss this morning. I am officially in the 160's!!!

    vlcd 10 for me and down 6 lbs...the scale did not move this morning....I'm trying to stay busy and keep my eye on the prize!!!

    Janessa yay 160's, so cool....hope I can get there too!!!


    Watergirl - I have been posting in the rogue saloon because noboday was posting here....I did the cocoa crack last round almost everyday and it didn't seem to effect my losses either....Since its been hot I have been making a chocolate Jay Robb shakes with frozen strawberries to satisfy my chocolate cravings..You are doing really good!!!

    Hope everyone is doing well!!!

    Lee and Vanessa,

    Good for you both! Down only 0.4 today, but at least it's DOWN. I'm going a little rogue over the weekend, as I'll be out of town with a friend and our kids for a raft trip. I've been plotting how I can stay mostly OP, but....

    How's everyone else doing?

    We're all losers!!!

    Seems like everyone is posting losses! That's awesome!!! I'm down a total of just over 10 pounds from my original pre-load weight. AFter the bad batch of hcg, and the re-mix, it caused a delay but from May 13 to basically yesterday is 18 days - and three of those were lost to the re-start - so it's formally 10 pounds in 15 days of VLCD. Not too shabby, even though it's a bit less than I had hoped by this time. I had mentally projected a 15 pound loss by now but in the grand scheme, 5 pounds isn't that much and at least I'm DOWN instead of UP.

    I've fallen in love with miso cup-a-soup for 30 calories. I know it's not on protocol but my clinic allows it. Yesterday I chopped up boiled shrimp and simmered in in there and yummmy!!!

    Hang in there folks! We'll be in P3 before you know it!

    Hi all,

    A "bad" weekend for me! I knew it would happen, so I'm ready to pay the price... Friday night, I had 2 small vodka martinis. Not too bad. There was a party, and I really couldn't say no. Then Saturday, I went on a road trip and rafting. In n Out burger protein style with no sauce (about 130 calories) for lunch. However, after rafting all day and driving for five hours, I drank a bottle of wine over the course of the evening, and ate a HUGE filet mignon, crackers, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, asparagus and cucumbers! Fortunately, no scale was available on Sunday morning! I ate basically POP on Sunday. This morning, I'm paying the price: Up 2.6 pounds over Saturday morning.... oh well....

    I hope you are enjoying lots of losses? Sounds like the group is doing great overall. Post more often, so we can share our experience. Have a great Monday!

    Sorry Janessa, I must've missed this. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

    I'm finally where I was on Friday last week before my Saturday food/drink fest. Paid the Piper, so to speak. I left my HCG out all day yesterday and found it this morning on the counter...(DUH). I guess I'll order a refill. I don't have any idea what it costs, as I've gotten through my doctor in the past. She gave me the bag with the meds in it to mix this time and it included the Rx label. I figure I'll just refill it myself, rather than going through her.

    Good luck today losers!

    Hope everyone is still doing well! I was down 12.5 pounds total yesterday, in about 19 days of VLCD, but I was up a bit this morning. I snitched a few bites of my son's soft taco last night. I couldn't finish the fish I had prepared -just choked on it though it was delicious - it just seemed like my body was rejecting anything pure protein like that. I hope I can dig deep and find another week and a half of VLCD because I'm getting sick of chicken and fish and lean hamburger.....seriously.....
