do any of you take MSM? If so, for what purpose and how much do you take. Other's have mentioned it for tightening skin so Im researching a bit.

Dawnl: Have you tried the apple chicken sausages from Costco? Yum! I like to do smoothies and protein shakes for breakfast when I'm not in P2. I usually end up having some nuts also.

When I eat breakfast when I'm not hcging I treat it like dinner or lunch. Sometimes I'll have a steak and veggies or a big salad or eggs and bacon. I eat leftovers from the night before too. I love my protein and veggies for breakfast☺ all my friends think I'm so weird because I don't eat NORMAL breakfast - cereal, doughnuts, toast etc.

Well today I lost almost all my gain but TOM is still raging and I feel so ucky - I always do. I will be happy to get to 150 this round. My perfect weight is 145 anything less makes me look way to skinny. It's funny because I'm not tall I'm just very shapely and broad. I'm very muscular too even though I never work out. Weird I know. But I'm struggling with these five pounds.
If u are doing p3 u should really look into paleo. It is so Delish you will never want to quit it.

Isn't P3 basically the same as paleo? What's the difference? I would like to be 145...haven't been there in 20 years. Maybe next round if I do another. Other than toning up I could live happily at 150. I can get comfortable without having to move my big thighs around LOL

Yeah me too I'm comfortable at 150!!! I would be so happy to stabilize there.

It's basically the same except for the dairy- cheese, milk, yogurt etc. but basically the same

good morning NW Crazies! Hope everyone is well today. I'm starting day 3 of my P3 and no scale change after some yummy eating yesterday. Today is my last day of school until I transfer in Sept to EWU. I'll be so glad to have the summer off.

I intend to begin exercising again next week...not sure what exactly to expect from that as far as weigh fluctuations. By then I should know more about what food affect me so I should be able to tell if I gain from exercise right? Any thoughts or advice. It wouldn't break my heart to be a lb or two under LDW instead of a lb over. (now Im just getting greedy LOL) Anyway, off to take my final exams. Have a good day!

Hey guys!! So glad to see our group has some new people. I mixed a new batch and finally lost .8 today, so that is great. I need to finish this round, which is 10 more days or so. Then take a 2-3 week break, and go back on. I need to be a little lower for our big NYC trip. So I am healthy and my gout doesn't flare up. I am weighing out the pros and cons of ordering from an india site or here in the U.S. Where did you all order from?

I have some good rogue recipe ideas. I'll type you all some tomorrow. I have been living on protein pancakes, SO GOOD and filling!

Welcome all to the group and sounds like p3 is going well for you dawn, yay!

good morning everyone. P3 so far so good...but I was up a little today. If I go up anymore tomorrow it's steak day time. I'm not looking forward to that. I think maybe I didn't eat enough yesterday. Today I am playing golf so I will have to eat more I guess. I musta jinxed myself by buying some steaks yesterday just in case LOL....go away steak days go away!

Will you be up 2 pounds from your last injections?

Steak days aren't bad. I am a vegetarian who eats some fish occassionally, so I do salmon days. Trick is just to keep yourself busy. You can drink coffee and cream, so that helps with keeping busy.

As for me. I weighed in to a disappointing weigh in. It was a little earlier than my usual time. I went to yoga and did a walk and weighed in again (a bit later than usual weigh in, but I was a full pound down!) That is exciting. I am trying really hard to end strong. It would be wonderful to make it to one-der-land before I end this. Then when I start my next round and planned interruption for my trip, I could feasibly leave Seattle and enter New York at 180!

THIS IS NOT PROTOCOL. But I am a roguey and I am loving these pancakes!!

    Protein Powder Pancakes

    6 egg whites
1.5 scoops protein powder (I use Jay Robb any flavor) **I use MRM all natural dutch chocolate. It's cheaper than Jay Rob)
    1.5 Tbs Psyllium husk powder
    1 Tbs cinnamon
3 Tbs no sugar added applesauce
2 Tbs non-fat cottage cheese (can leave this out but they are thicker with it) (I used non fat greek yogurt instead)
1/2 c berries (blueberries work well) (can leave this out too but better with) (this is great, the fruits are sweet enough since it's summer. I have done this with blueberries and strawberries.) **Careful you don't add too much fruit in, I will put on a table spoon on the apple sauce and a little fruit and count it as my second.

Whip egg whites in blender until frothy. Add remaining ingredients and blend until well mixed. Pour onto heated skillet (I use non stick spray) and stir the batter between each one as it thickens from the psyllium. Makes 8-10 pancakes depending on size. Between 40-50 calories each depending on which ingredients are used. I add up all the calories in the mix and divide it by the number of pancakes to figure calories in each one.

Syrup - 1 cup berries (blueberries work great)
    1/4 cup water
    Sweetener of choice

Heat syrup ingredients to boil then reduce heat and simmer. Smash the berries with fork and stir occasionally until thickens.

    Directions
Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees. Place crushed melba toast crumbs in a bowl and the egg white in another bowl. Take the shrimp 2-3 at a time and dip in egg white then coat with crumbs and place onto cookie sheet. Repeat with the rest of the shrimp till all the shrimp have been coated with the egg white and crumbs. Bake in oven for 5-10 min or until shrimp is cooked. Let set for 2 min before eating.

This was pretty good. I felt like the shrimp was a bit rubbery, maybe we overcooked it slightly. We used the bread we eat. Dave's killer bread, which is sprouted wheat and flourless.

I also eat 8oz of greek yogurt with strawberries

    Shrimp and ****tail sauce

the sprouted wheat bread with a bit of chive cream cheese and tomato for a treat at night.

I eat asparagus, jicama, and broccoli for veggies.

Hope that helps for any rogue ideas

well, I did drops but yes. And today I played golf and didn't get to eat nearly enough. I had ***e for breakfast and ran out the door...but several cups of coffee with cream so that helps get the calories up...then just got home after walking 18 holes and a sunburn and had avocado, grilled ground beef patty and some cheese and a glass of wine. But it was a great day and dinner was so satisfying so if I have to do a steak day tomorrow so be it. I'm still thrilled not to be where I was a month ago.

That rogue food looks so friggin yummy. When this settles down I'll try those pancakes. Love shrimp but became allergic all of a sudden a few years ago.

When is your trip to NY????

Well, no steak day for me!!! I was actually down .5 today. I added the avocado yesterday and I actually had the feeling that my body needed it. I practically inhaled it LOL. Now my chief complaint...cuz I always have to have one...is that I feel mushy...like loose and jiggly. I don't have a lot of extra skin or anything. It's just that in the places I have lost weight I feel soft. Maybe time to add in some exercise. I've been thinking about doing body sculpting...to make my hips look thinner. I'm fascinated by how that all works.
