Good morning, Lovelies - I'm in P4 and holding steady. I had a nasty bout of conjunctivitis so haven't been outside much, I need to get back to my daily walks!

So sorry you were sick Gz9! I need to start daily walks also they are so calming and good for mental health and strength! My kids love them too. This winter want to get out most days for a walk.

We have a busy week coming up but one of my goals this week is to broaden my variety of foods I eat. I have a new P3 cook book from HCG Chica and I'm going to try some of her recipes so I get more variety in. I realized this p3 and p4 I was needing more variety as I was eating all the same foods which causes issues in the long run. I've tried her chocolate chia pudding this morning and it was good. Going to try some of her soups and stir fries and veggie dishes. Kinda excited. I'd been bored by the same old same old. I stick to mostly p3 food even in p4 but HCG Chica's recipes are higher carb than I tend to do which will help me ease into more carbs hopefully very gently.

I had a shock on the scale after 126 yesterday and woke up to 121 this morning after a "reverse steak day yesterday. Anyways that was interesting! I was glad!

    Good morning, all!

Slowly, I am returning to healthy eating. Not cooking much yet, but I am off the Oreos! LOL. I was planning on going back to the Y this week but have not made it yet. My nephew's school schedule this semester is a challenge as I need to drive him smack in the middle of most of the work outs classes I was doing previously, so need to re-figure when to go and get back to a rouitine. It's harder than I thought it would be.

I havent weighed yet and probably won't until I feel I get a handle on my tiredness and general depression that I have been going through. I am better than last week, but not sure what has knocked me down yet. I have lots of drs appts about various stuff, but of course, from time you call until you actually get in is running six to 12 weeks! I scheduled my annual with my GP at the end of June and had an appt for late September and her office justs called and said ooops, she doesn't work on Wednesday afternoons, so we need to set a different time. December 20th. Still mid October before I get in to see thyroid specialist.

I'll keep an eye on this thread, but don't want to be too much of a Debbie Downer since i am not actively doing a round right now. I'm good. Just stumbiing along.

    Onward all!

I appreciate your honesty about the hardships and struggles. I can relate to a lot of well general life stress and things going on and battling anxiety at times. We have a very busy family and kids with chronic health issues and I have some too. Life can be challenging. But it sure does grow us as we seek to grow and look up.

I’m just checking in for Sept so you all know I haven’t kicked the bucket. Just got back from over two weeks of shows. Brought my scale but haven’t used it since I left. My plan is to weigh next Wed or Thurs after I slow down my eating. I did reasonably well while I was gone but ate way too many calories. I need about 1600 a day but prob ate over 2000 a day. Didn’t eat badly till the last 5 days. Came back to very dirty house and after driving all day started cleaning. My back has been in pain almost 3 days. I eat comfort foods when I can’t get pain to stop. Found a back brace that works so pain has subsided. Always intended to check back in when I got home. No clue what the scale will reveal but will find out Wed morning. My house cleaners come on Tuesday so mentally that helps. Also had stress due to biz and personal tax papers needed to be found and sent to cpa. Yikes. Maybe next week I will be settled down. Btw sales were great!

I think posting here helped me get real. I decided to weigh this morning and not wait till Wednesday…”face the truth”. Wasn’t terrible. 144.8 so I am 1.6 over LIW. Technically P4 but basic P3 with occasional starch I think being home for a month will help

Congrats, Rose, staying on track while traveling is impressive! I finished P3 about the same way, 1# over LDW and have been maintaining.

Thanks, Rose - once I'm done with a round, I weigh once a week or so; I mostly go by how my clothes are fitting.

So yesterday ate clean so I thought. Rewarded with increase of .8 So now 2.4 lbs over LIW. Not doing steak day. Just gonna cut back for a few days and see what happens. Seems every time I eat Chik Fila market salad I go up.
