Good morning! Glad it is slowly getting better for you, Pearly! Vent away!

I'm down again, after a 3rd day of clean p3 eating.....I did have a bowl of berries and a tiny bit of greek yogurt. I found this 10% milkfat yogurt called Cabot that is absolutely delicious and almost reminds me of the Fage before they dropped down to only 5% milkfat. Tomorrow is last day of p3....can't wait for some fried sweet potatoes! Have a blessed one, y'all!

I posted below on Leez thread so not trying to be lazy but being lazy. Glad u r all doing so well on hcg aspect. Pearly I hate that u r going thru such pain. You may have to see orthopedic and get X-ray if it doesn’t get better. My husbands knee had been hurting so I did most of the driving in our truck. My disciplined p4 went out the window for 4 days so I know I gotta tighten the belt (so to speak)

Repost of what I wrote on Leez. Not proud but why I know I need to be accountable so here goes “ I am on the road. Finished a better than expected show so that aspect was successful. Afm have had difficulty sleeping past 4 am. The show had long hrs snd we ate late at night (which prob interfered with my sleep ) and I am up 3.6 lbs over Liw. Eating noodles and PF Chang delivery at 10 pm no help. My husband I shared and he loves their Singapore street noodles. I am happy I brought my scale. Gonna try to nip it in the bud. P3 for a week or so. I had only done a very short round this year so I do believe 28 days for me should be minimum. I did 23. But hope by the time I get home in a week I will get to LIW. Always planned another round this year in July but I don’t want to relose the few lbs I lost in March. Good lesson here. Not discouraged. Just gonna be more mindful.

Thank you, tmott, and thank you Rose!

The yogurt sounds great, t. I will look for it. I love Greek Gods but it is not low anything. Just delicous. I always think Fage tastes like library paste.

Rose, I hear you, girl friend! Yikes. Hope you enjoyed it, at least! But that stuff had a LOT of sodium so you will see a drop quickly as soon as you get back on board the P3 train. I'm on it too!

I am so much better! FINALLY. I have some spots that are still grumbling at me, but I can turn left now. I was doing everything to the right! The muscle relaxant took a couple of days to kick in, I guess.

That noise in the background that you can't actually hear is the Puppy with a new toy. I finished off some grape tomatoes and gave her the plastic container. She is having a blast pushing it around kitchen at full speed. I don't want her to actually eat any of it, so will toss it in the recycle when she gets tired of it and goes outside to make sure none of the neighbors sleep in. My cousin gave her a rubber chicken that moans instead of squeaks. It is her favorite, of course, but human ears can only stand it for a few minutes at a time. I have to hide it. So she can chase a produce box for a bit.

I was super careful eating P3 style yesterday, except I never got around to an actual dinner. I snacked on some mixed nuts off and on while I finished up the website I've been working on. Next thing I knew it was 9:30 and I collasped into bed. Little old lady dog woke me up at 11:45 wanting to go outside. Took the puppy out too but she looked at me like I was nuts. Then at 2 am the puppy started crying and that time she DID need to go out. And managed to run to my guest room door, a friend of a friend's sister is staying with me for a week or so-- and barked like a big girl ROBBER ROBBER ROBBER! I'm sure my guest was thrilled. Ugh.

So, back down the .6 of the gained pound. I will still be vigilent and on P3 for the rest of the week. I do not want to allow The Creep to get me!

    Onward!

PearlyMae, I'm glad to read you are feeling better!

Rose, great you had a good show; hopefully you'll drop those lbs quickly.

AFM, another round is in the plan, after I get moved.

My house is sold, my offer on a home was accepted, so I'm on the train. I made my 4th or 5th drop-off to Goodwill yesterday: anything I haven't used since the last move is getting purged. I'm keeping track, so will have a nice tax deduction for next year. Getting my u-haul rental set up today, finishing paperwork for the purchase - need oil change - need wardrobe boxes - so much to do!

My cats love all the stacks of empty boxes -

Gig! Boy, been there, done that and got the t-shirt, shot glasses and sunburn! I've moved so many times in my life you would think it would be a cinch but it remains a pain! Good for you cleaning OUT while you move out. It will feel good. These days we sure have a lot of STUFF, huh? Earlier generations had tiny closets and one car garages (or no garages) and now we have walk in closets, basements full of stuff and double garages people can't get there cars into! Crazy.

I am down the rest of the pound. Whooohoooo. and Whew. I am right on 2 lbs below LDW which is where I like it. Clean yesterday, but again, did not eat much. I need to get back to cooking at least one meal a day.

Even the dogs slept through the night. I think I was the culprit on that. They didn't used to wake me up 3 times a night to go out. Even the puppy slept right through until I woke her up until the past week or so. I think I was so restless that I woke THEM up so they wanted to outside as a reflex. I still wake up if I roll over to my left --ow-- still something there that doesn't like that, but oh what a joy to sleep 8 solid hours.

Not ready to go back to the Y yet, cross fingers I can go tomorrow. I am losing ground on that.

    ONWARD!

P4 145.6. So only .2 over LIW. Happy to be back in range. My goal till July is to stay in range before doing another small round. Mostly ate P3 yesterday with fewer calories.

Hey every buddy, thank you for posting. I seem to be every other post. This is not supposed to be the Pollyblog, so keep on reporting in!

I am at the same exact weight today. Hurrah. I feel like I dodged a bullet as I had popcorn for supper. NOT worth it, as I worried all night that I would be up 14.6 pounds today. I will put the rest of the popcorn packs in the very back of the pantry and remind myself they are for emergencies only. Like not being able to move without great pain, like last week, when I bought them.

I did not cook all week last week so now I have various leftovers in the fridge that will go in the trash. I'm pretty good about freezing packets of chicken, meat loaf, etc. as I live alone and I constantly have to cook for four or six with the portions things come in. That's okay, but I also use veggies where you can't buy just ONE, like mini cukes and mini peppers, and even if I use them, I end up with enough for more meals. Also frozen foods like mashed cauliflower. I eat about 1/3 and plan on eating it for the next few days. Only I don't. I HATE wasting food, let alone the money going into the trash.

I am starting on a Make One Freeze Two plan. Instead of ditching the green beans and mashed cauliflower etc. in the fridge for the next night which may not come, I will make PLATES of food to freeze. I'm thinking on paper plates with freezer paper over it, slid into a gallon baggie. I can label them with date and food, and if I don't want to eat what I had the night before, I can eat what I had last week. Okay, says here that I am going to try this. I'll report back when I see if I follow through.

    Onward!

I have the same "cooking for one" problem, PearlyMae. I generally cook up stews, such as hatch chile chicken thighs with mustard-barbecue sauce, and re-heat portions. I'll alternate with roasted pork, which I slice and re-heat; or pork hatch chile stew or burgers or tuna steaks. Not a huge amount of variety, but there's always something in the fridge to warm up. I find using a kitchen scale controls portion size; and using 50% power setting on the microwave, gives me the best results.

I don't find I need to freeze my meals; I use glass containers with lids and my foods are generally good for a week.

Because I eat very low carb, I don't bother with veggies at dinner. I mostly eat salads for lunch, and get all the veggies I need then.
