I love yogurt days.....they have always given me losses in the past. I don't wanna do em either now, though...I want my veggies and salad, too.
My youngest daughter turned 14 yesterday and I made her a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting from scratch...her fave. Have yet to sample it. Not sure if I will.
    Have a good day, y'all!

Gig, since the sugars in plain yogurt are milk sugars, somehow they don't bother me as much as a starchy sugar or added sugar. But you gotta find something you like. Every one rages about Fage (Rah-Yeys about Fah-Yey? ) but, as I am sure I have mentioned before, tastes like library paste to me, which I am pretty sure I didn't eat twice in nursery school.

I drove cross country for 20 hours with a cat that sk-reeemed the entire time, and a dog that moanded the whole way, plus a baby who never slept at all and my friend who they all belonged to who was leaving an abusive husband to go hide at her mother's, who cried and cried and cried. I lived through that, but not sure how. Wear one earbud with music in it so you can still hear traffic but maybe drown out the cats.

Mott you are killing it in P4. So pleased for you. The cake sounds wonderful and lucky daughter whose Mom makes a cake from scratch that she can't eat!

Rose, creeping down is a whole lot more fun than creeping up! Well, the process is probably the other way around, but the results are more fun. Good for you!

NoPar, smaller jeans! You have just quietly been doing your job over there. Huzzah!

    Tanya, you doing ok?

Shout out to anyone else I missed.

I am so relieved. I don't know if I diagnosed the pound gain correctly, or treated it correctly or just got lucky---probably the last one---but I am back down the pound and another .6. This puts me at my lowest so far. Probably be back up a bit tomorrow. I slept an extra hour --if you can count getting up with not one but BOTH dogs individually at 6 and making them come back in and go back to bed until 8---and it does a body good.

I scrubbed muddy floors until I was bent over and limping last night. By bedtime I had unkinked and today I am fine. My sister's fussy MIL is coming tomorrow, so I'll go help her clean house today. She keeps a beautiful house, but even good housekeepers worry when their mothers-in-law visit. One thing about being single most of my life: NO MOTHER IN LAW. I had one that was a doozy, but lost her in the divorce 40 years ago. Bless her heart.

    ONWARD!

PearlyMae, That drive sounds horrible - I think only a wailing ghost could have made it worse!

I'm expecting my vet to prescribe something else for poor Romeo - the last time we moved, it was a 5 hour drive and he did OK with a benzodiazepene variant.

As to milk sugars being OK fir you, I get that: but I am continuing to restrict my carbs and yogurt doesn't make the cut. I would rather spend my carb allowance on salad greens, tomatoes, berries, and cooking with onion and garlic and Hatch chiles, and of course, heavy cream for my coffee. Some people call keto "restrictive", but I say, it's eating all the good stuff without eating fillers.

Gig, totally agree on the good stuff without the fillers! You do you, hon!

As for the 1.6 I was down yesterday, meh. Up 1.2 today. All good. I am still below LIW. No concerns. Bouncing between 124 and 125 is nothing to complain about!! It sure beats bouncing out of the 130's every time I take a deep breath. I still have the feeling that I am going to be up 15 pounds overnight every time I see a gain. Holding steady and enjoying it.

I'm off to the pool to watch the instructor sing along to the salsa music and wiggle while I try to move one leg at a time through the water. LOL.

Hello Slimshady! Glad you popped in.

I was feeling sort of down last night and ate popcorn for supper. Yeah, not good. I forgot to weigh this a.m. until I was already dressed, and took off most of my Going to the Y clothes and was up 1+ pounds. I did not feel like taking off anymore to find out an exact amount. I will see if I can be more resolute today and weigh tomorrow.

    Onward!

Crisis averted. Back down and back on track. I worry about creep especially since my thyroid meds have been cut back so much. But so far Im feeling ok and have been able to correct any gains with careful eating.

    Thursday
I had a wonderful day celebrating my niece's high school graduation. It seemed like a Sunday with all the relatives, food, etc. But back to the real world. I indulged a bit with some lemon cake, and I actually enjoyed the taco shells with the yummy tacos with everything. I was afraid I'd be up but I am down, so huzzah.

I'm not starting a new post until somoene else posts!!!

Thank you Kar, gig and DebRN for the shout outs!

My packing is proceeding well. The shelves in the closets are cleared, and the car is loaded for another Goodwill run.
I'm going to have a big tax deduction next year for all this stuff I'm donating! Boxes, full and empty, are everywhere. My cats are having a great time climbing the stacks.

Thank you, Shady! I am well into P4, so I should be able to have a small extra once in a while and I was fine.

Gig, keep marching onward. You will be so happy when You are settled in the new place.

I'm up a bit, but still in the same pound so that's my new criteria for not worrying so much. As long as I go up and down in the same pound, I'm fine.

Good morning, ladies. Sorry I haven't been checking in as much-May is such a busy month with 3 kiddos' birthdays, my mom's birthday, one kid graduating....but I love it! Hope everybody is doing well
I'm still just hanging in there, counting calories and eating p3 foods except for the occasional roasted sweet potato. Seems I have to be much more careful about what I eat as compared to my last p3/4, but that was to be expected.
Hope everybody has a great day!

Posted this on Leez's, but also wanted to post here. I'm a little late to this party, lol, but I wanted to peek in and say hi. I have been in and out over the years-- back in now. I am on day 14 of P2 and down 9lbs so far with a lot more than that to go. I am doing Intermountain drops this go around, which I really like, and have finally found the sweet spot where I am not starving, which is making this a lot easier than it has been in attempts past. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and wish us all good luck!
