Southerngirl, most makeup these days is OK. Do some reading on here and you will find that many of us continue to use our regular makeup, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste without problems. Just check your labels and make sure that your products don't contain any food-based oils. The theory is that your body will be so starved for any fat, that it could absorb a food-based oil and stall you. Plus, remember that 50+ years ago, many of the products weren't all oil-free like they are now.
I will warn you to be careful going too far off
protocol on your first round. I'm with you on the creamer, I use fat-free coffeemate myself, only 1 tablespoon, instead of the allowed milk. Be careful with salad dressings, what are you using? If it has any fat/sugar you could be shorting yourself. There are some you can make yourself with ACV, lemon, and spices, but I personally don't care for them. And what kind of salad are you eating, don't mix veggies during P2, you eating just lettuce??
Make sure you have read Pounds and Inches, and follow the allowed foods for your first round. You can play with it a bit more if you do a second round, after you have done P3 and P4 to the letter. Even the rogue folks advise that you strictly follow a full round the first time. Keep asking question, too. That's how you learn.
