    Ok ladies I haven't had any weird dreams yet but when I was trying to go to sleep last night because I was hearing things? Is this normal? I was fading into sleep and I would wake up because I swear I was hearing someone walking around in the attic lol my husband just told me to got to sleep because I was crazy or over stuffed with food lol

    Hi southern girl im going to look up the reason for that but it does say as long as your makeup and lotion does not contain oil then u can use it. I will get back to you later on why because frankly I would like to know as well. I'm ashy and I miss my makeup lol

    Southerngirl, most makeup these days is OK. Do some reading on here and you will find that many of us continue to use our regular makeup, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste without problems. Just check your labels and make sure that your products don't contain any food-based oils. The theory is that your body will be so starved for any fat, that it could absorb a food-based oil and stall you. Plus, remember that 50+ years ago, many of the products weren't all oil-free like they are now.

    I will warn you to be careful going too far off protocol on your first round. I'm with you on the creamer, I use fat-free coffeemate myself, only 1 tablespoon, instead of the allowed milk. Be careful with salad dressings, what are you using? If it has any fat/sugar you could be shorting yourself. There are some you can make yourself with ACV, lemon, and spices, but I personally don't care for them. And what kind of salad are you eating, don't mix veggies during P2, you eating just lettuce??

    Make sure you have read Pounds and Inches, and follow the allowed foods for your first round. You can play with it a bit more if you do a second round, after you have done P3 and P4 to the letter. Even the rogue folks advise that you strictly follow a full round the first time. Keep asking question, too. That's how you learn.

    Thanks for your help... I am using coffee mate FF powder creamer for my morning coffee, then its water for the rest of the day. As far as salad dressing I use 1 tablespoon of FF thousand island. I guess I need to do something with this but I eat lettuce everyday and I'm pretty picky with dressing. I tried it plain and with lemon and couldn't see myself doing it all month. I will see what I can come up with.

    Well...scale hasn't moved yet. I weighed between 155 and 160 for several years, so I know I'm getting close to a set point, but I wouldn't think that would be causing me a problem yet. I did measure myself and I'm losing inches (except in the backside...stubborn...) so at least there's that. I'm thinking of trying a protein day today and only eating protein for my calories (I'm allergic to apples). I'm going to try to pick up some of that yerba mate tea too!

    Good afternoon all,

    Southern Girl, I don't think you can use FF coffeemate or FF salad dressing. Both have a ton of carbs.

    Welcome to Lilislim, Dack and Eggie! This is a great group, you will learn a lot and get great support too! Keep it up, it get easier after 4 days or so.

    I'm still in a sloww week 2 mode (lost .7, .1 and .3 the last 3 days). Not panicking yet. and just following all the advice. Drank 22 glasses of water yesterday, and trying an apple cider lemonade today!

    Hi All,
    I am new to this. I am on day 27 and have lost 15.7 lbs so far. I loved reading all the tips. I find I have been craving spicy foods. Jennifer I have 2 Black standard poodles. I groom them myself also; I always feel it the next day. I was hoping to get down to 170 but after seeing that this plan does work I have change my goal to 155.

    Hey all!

    I'm new to the site. I'm on round 1 and day 6 of vlcd. I've lost 5 pounds but I am starving alllllll day long and I'm dizzy most of the time. Anyone experiencing this? I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old and if I can't get this straightened out then I will have to quit They come first of course.

    Hi Deana - i'm new too, day 4 of VLCD. I was ridiculously hungry too was told to adjust my dose and they were right - less was more for me! if you search the newbie forum there is lots of stuff on how to adjust your dose depending on what method you are using. you won't be hungry at all once your dosage is corrected. it's weird!
