Anyone starting a round this week of October 7?

I am getting nervous and excited, about to start my first loading day tomorrow. Hoping for a 30 day round this time, and then will have to do another round again in January after the holidays. Need to go to the store for p2 food soon. If anyone has just started or is about to start, join me and lets encourage each other!

Yes! I loaded over the weekend, this is my first VLCD. This is not my first round though so I have a pretty good idea what I'm getting myself into. I'd love to encourage each other, to me that is the only way to get through it.

Today I have a little bit of hunger, not too bad. I feel a little glossy-eyed but that could be just from reading the forum so much. For breakfast I had a large iced green tea unsweetened from starbucks, lunch was 4 oz of lean hamburger (I'm notoriously bad at eating my veggies) and then this afternoon I had a hot tea with stevia. I went to the grocery store at lunch and plan on making chicken soup for dinner.

Hi! I l would love to do HCG. This would be my second round after losing 30 lb last year. But I used to buy the injections out of India, and they are no longer available.
Can you guys help? I don't need the injections, but I do need real HCG

    Thanks!
    Amanda

Hi chili! I would very much appreciate a mutual encouraging relationship lol I have done several unsuccessful rounds in the past, but they were several years ago and I feel that I have a better hold on will power and what I need to do. I also have important events coming up that I really need to look my best for, so that is also motivation. I understand that its a tough protocol, the meals are not very exciting. However, the end result is most definitely worth it. Quick question - do you ever eat filet mignon? It's pretty much the only beef I like these days. It doesn't seem super fatty, but I'm not a beef expert lol it just seems like a very tender cut.

Amanda - I bought my freeze dried HCG. I bought 3 vials of 2000iu Ovidac and then bought a kit from hcgdiscountsupplies.com. I mixed my first batch this morning, directions on that are in the newcomer thread.

AFM - Today was loading day one, i HATEEEEEE loading. I feel so gross and just want to start losing. But we do have a world-famous donut shop in my town and I will say that I had 4 of them today without shame!!! haha

Jilly - No, I have not tried filet on P2, but you are right, it is the leanest cut. You could try it out and see if you lose on it, I wouldn't keep it as a staple though. It seems a lot of people here don't lose very well on beef in general. Me personally, I have to have it or I'll go crazy insane with just chicken. I get the 96% lean beef and add plenty of salt and pepper. I'm also going to experiment with egg whites and jay robb protein shakes. In previous rounds I get weak because after a couple of weeks I have no desire to eat the food I'm allowed to eat.

So I do tend to do a few things a little rouge with the protein shakes and I'll have fat free fage sometimes too but I don't touch anything with fat in it. I'm notoriously bad about eating the veggies as well.

Hi ladies! I'm really excited about trying this again, and happy to have found a support group, as its really hard to do it alone.

    Jilly, thanks for the link.

In response to the meat: I found I didn't lose as much when I ate meat. I made chili about once a week on my last round, and still lost, but not as much as when I ate shrimp!

Amanda, my order actually got to me from India in 5 days lol I was shocked when it arrived. And I ordered on a Sunday so it was technically 4 business days. They are a good company

And that's good to know about the meat! I bought some chicken breast tenders, some tilapia, and some crab. Not sure what I'll do with all of it but I'm hoping to find some good recipes. Also bought cucumbers and lettuce and cilantro. I want to see how long I can go without the fruit to see if I get good losses without it.

    Hi,

I actually started yesterday VLCD on day 2. I'd love to be your HCG buddy!! Question: can we have tea I only see coffee.

Hi alyx!! Yes we can have unsweetened tea I start vlcd day 1 tomorrow and I can't wait to start seeing losses! Loading days are fun in theory but it gets old fast lol what have you eaten so far yesterday and today? I'd love to get some meal ideas! I read about a chicken taco recipe with lettuce leaves that I might try tomorrow. If it's good I'll post it for y'all.

Happy Hump Day!!! lol How is everyone doing today??

Today is Day 1 VLCD, felt good waking up and was just the tiniest bit hungry this morning. Had a cup of tea with a few drops of stevia for breakfast, and then went to work. Was fine hunger-wise, I just had a little feeling of emptiness, like I could tell I hadn't eaten but wasn't terribly hungry. Came home for lunch and made a recipe I found online. Baked a portion of tilapia in the oven on a piece of foil and I made kind of a bowl out of the foil and put about 1/4 cup chicken stock so the fish wouldn't stick. Seasoned with basil, salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon. Came out juicy and tender! 375 for about 13 minutes. Headed back to work then dinner will probably be crab (not sure what to do with it, have lemons but will be hard to not soak it in butter! lol) looking forward to the first drop tomorrow morning. Hope all is well with yall!

Hi Jilly! Thanks for the reply it would be awesome to do this with someone who knows what it's like. My meals are boring for now I just moved to Miami & new job so, cooking is the last thing on my mind. Except for chili, which I will make tonight. The taco's sound awesome though, do share! Not sure you'll know the answer here..but some of you guys might; Walden Farms has all kinds of calorie free, fat free, sugar free salad dressings & other products like chocolate syrup that I will ignore, but some of the dressings aren't bad--better than ACV. It does have splenda in it. So, is it going off protocol if I use 1TBSP? It does make P2 a little more bearable. Also, Jilly, I didn't eat my eggs for breakfast & used it in a salad with 4 oz chicken for lunch with the calorie free thousand island & I swear, felt like I was cheating & its only day 3. Is it okay to mix the food up so it comes out to the same amount but helps to make the meals more interesting? Kinda feeeling like I should stick to the plan 4 oz protein, 1 cup veg , fruits as allowed, etc. Thoughts?

    Hi Alyx!

I know lots of people that used Walden Farms on my last round and had great success with their products.
also, if you google HCG p2 recipes, you'll find lots of ideas!

I am going to order my HCG tonight! So I will be a little behind you, but Im right here with you too!!!
I found some great group support on Facebook. Anyone tried there?
But this is by far my fav forum, as you really get to know each other.

Looking forward to losing with you guys!!
    Amanda
