Hi Ladies... I'm happy to report a 2.0 loss this morning, after VLCD2. Along with my 1st loss of 2.2 yesterday (after VLCD1), I'm down a Total Net Loss of 3.8 lbs from my Start Weight. (i prefer not to count from my load weight, even though the numbers are so close) So far, so good...**happy dance**
After upping my dose slightly, back up to 165iu yesterday, and again to 175iu today, my hunger issues have seemed to disappear. I will see how well I make it through the next 24 hours and determine from there. I didn't realize I was going blind, but 165iu is just too tough to find on the needle for me... LOL.
I have been keeping my blog updated daily with the details of my journey, for anyone who wants to take a closer peek. Feel free to subscribe if you like.
I'm not sure what I said... but I'm glad that it encouraged you.
Honey Crisp Apples are the BOMB!!! They are the ONLY apple that I actually enjoy eating, even if it's not Organic. I gave up eating apples almost 15 years ago because I couldn't stand them. A few years ago, I tried a Honey Crisp apple for the first time and was instantly CRAZY about them, although I still hated all other apples. When I started R1, I felt forced to try apples again because the honey crisp were not in season... and I was doing my best to try to eat organic that round. Once I tasted organic apples, I was in heaven, trying all the different kinds available... especially the organic Fuji. YUMM!! (Organic Pink Lady and Organic Gala are tasty too) When it comes to fruits and veggies, I have found that the organic ones taste much better than regular, and even pesticide-free ones. I just wish they weren't so expensive.... **shrug**
BTW... if I found my only HC apple gone, while on the VLCD, I don't know if I could have kept those 4 letter words to myself... and I don't even cuss. **blushing** GOOD FOR YOU!! You're stronger than I am.

Morning (or Afternoon!!) Ladies....(we are all ladies, so far, I believe??)...
had a morning meeting, but woke up to a scale tht said "-2." Very happy! My hunger is still around. I skipped my last drops last night and am cutting my dose slightly today to see if my hunger subsides some. I have been using what worked for round 1 (3 X 14 drops)...maybe that's just too much this time around. Working on 36 drops total today!
Hope ya'll have a great day! Off to eat cabbage soup!! =)

Good Afternoon! Down 0.4 lbs today, yeah! I think my TOM is getting close so we'll see what happens with that. I have been doing well today but came home from running around and really hungry. Ate my lunch and waiting for the hunger to die down.
Starting wt:188.4
Load day 1: 189.2 (+0.8)
Load day 2: 189
VLCD 1:185.6
VLCD 2:185.2
VLCD 3: 184.8
VLCD 4: 184.4 ( - 4 lbs total from preload)
VLCD 5: 184 (-4.4)
VLCD 6: 182.8 (-5.6)
Kagee - with the roasts, steaks, chicken, etc I tend to cook the entire thing to a little less than done then portion it out. Freeze what I'm not going to use right away.
jibanez - agave is a sugar. Between the tomatoes and that there's no sure way of knowing how much of the 3g is from the agave and how much is from the tomatoes. I've used the same ketchup in P3 though.
Texas - whoohoo for 1.4 LoL about the apple. I know the feeling. Happened with me and strawberries.
Driven - 2 lbs is fantastic!
Careberr - .4 is great (it has to be.. that's what I lost today)
swimbug - 2 lbs!! Wowzah I love cabbage soup
Amanda - .4! Same for me today
Down .4 total of 6.2 in 5 days. Definitely slower than previous rounds. Still playing with my dose a bit. Went up to 180iu last night to see if that takes care of my evening hunger in the 7 hours before dosing time. Not sure that I shouldn't have gone down to 170iu. We shall see.
Eating my chicken and celery soup with Franks. Then off to Costco for more strawberries and frozen cod filets.

Beth - question... if we're supposed to weigh the meat raw? how much does that make it cooked - it would be easier to cook the roast before cutting up - I already did the steaks portioned, butterfly-ed and baggied & frozen. They're all between 3.5 and 4.0 oz - I'll weigh each before I use it for tracking calories the day I devour it.
LoL I need to write this out, cause I get this one alot.
Procedure for calculating batch-cooked protein amounts...
1. Weigh the entire protein, raw
2. Divide by 3.5 ounces or 100g (I use grams for everything) to calculate total number of servings you have
3. Cook in desired manner, let rest a bit
4. Weigh the entire protein, cooked
5. Divide the total cooked weight by the number of servings to determine how many ounces/grams cooked per portion
6. Portion out protein based on the result in #5
Sooooo...as an example..
A bunch of chicken
1. entire batch weighs 1000 grams when raw
2. 1000/100 = 10 portions
3. cook the entire batch
4. cooked weight = 800 grams
5. 800 grams / 10 portions = 80 grams per cooked portion
6. 80 grams of that cooked chicken is 1 portion.

Hi Everyone, I think I am getting closer to being right on my drops not as hungry the last two days. I am doing 5 4xday. I finally got home and was able to weigh myself. I was 193 ld2 and am on vlcd6 and I was 183.8 this morning so 9.2 I will take it.
Finally got to have a hot meal tonight so I feel a little more human. I did mix vegies for an awesome salad so we will see how tomorrow goes. I also had beef for the first time.
ADC is sending me out another order so lets hope this one doesn't get stuck in customs.
AmandaJ <tried your mustard dressing on my salad tonight and it was awesome. I am a balsomic vinigarette person anyway so it was right up my alley. Can't wait to try it on chicken.
Congrats everyone
This is the simplest answer I have ever heard... yet has been an annoying challenge to me since my first round. THANK YOU!!! You just made my life so much easier! I have been doing everything the hard way... or just eating slightly extra when it comes to my chicken.
**BIG HUGS**

Beth.... I'm curious. I know that this is your 3rd round too, so you have lots of experience with HCG/VLCD already, so I'm wondering... have you always used so many recipes during each round? If so, I wonder if your slower-than-usual-losses might be due to a reaction to all the sodium that you're getting from your marinades, dressings and broths. Some people are more sensitive to sodium than others.
If you have always used them... just 86 my comment.
