Hey LinderLou and Gig! Thanks for dropping by!

Well, I mixed and have enough for 32 days plus loading. I haven't done a round that long in years, but if I take a PI at Thanksgiving... uh huh. I am already planning my PI and I haven't even started loading. Ya gotta problem wtih that? LOL.

I hope to hear from more of you or this will turn into the Pollyblog. Well, as long as it's not Pollyblob's Pollyblog ...! Eeek.

    Onward!

Actually, PearlyMae, I think a PI helps you stick with the round. If you do it well, you come back to P2 and rock the last couple of weeks.

I so agree, Gig. I rarely lose much the third week so it is just a grit your teeth and get through it time. I have done PI's successfully and when back, have lost much better. This time arouind, I should have looked up the info in Pounds and Inches sooner. 20 days of injections are considered best before a PI and then 3 days of transition. Hmmm... Started Nov 2 and Thanksgiving is Nov 23... I can do 20 days or 3 transition days, but not both. Woops. It does say less than 20 days 'undesirable' but I think better to do 17 and have three full transistion days than have hcg in my system when the pumpin pie is passed. I have done many holiday meals on P3 with no problem. I have a yummy recipe for Keto dressing and I always bring roasted veggies so easy to skip the other stuff.

Of course, day one of loading and I was not hungry all day. I had to force myself to eat! Where is that feeling when I need it? Just too busy yesterday.

I did decide to do something different this round: I did NOT weigh myself before loading. Haven't weighed for a couple of weeks except at Dr's office, but I keep my shoes and purse, so I can tell myself ha, that's not right! My Shoes and purse weigh five pounds and my KEYS are in my jacket pocket! LOL.

But will weigh tomorrow morning on P2D1, so I don't have to stress that the loading weight losses in the next few days are not REAL. I do not need that information. It just plays with my haed.

    Onward!

Well, not a great start. I forgot to weigh and ran out of the house without my breakfast. Sheesh. But, I am amazed that with nothing to eat at all this a.m. it is now around 2 pm and I have not fallen into a heap, sobbing and starving. Usually, if I miss eating, I will get lightheaded, a headache, back aches, tearful and I have eat pronto and then take a nap to get back on track. And I was suprised at the time and I am not even grumpy! Yay HCG. You are a wonder.

I will just weigh tomorrow and go from there. It is not how much I lose, it is where I end up that is the thing to focus on.

    Onward!!

Love this! Glad you are feeling good so far. That feeling good thing is what makes it easy to keep going.

Good Monday morning, Lovelies - My time (and my bank account) have been consumed by house repairs. The latest: a crack in the 3rd bedroom ceiling, due to a roof leak (fixed) that caused mold on the insulation and drywall forced us to cut a 12 ' x 30" hole in the drywall. But now new insulation is installed, drywall is up and mudded, and it needs to be primed and painted. I've been reorganizing my stuff, put up racks in the garage and 2nd bedroom, got everything stowed and off the floor. Soon I'll be able to furnish a guest bedroom, and take a pause on home repairs.

I finally weighed today, 1 lb below LDW, so I'm feeling good about that. I have been enjoying northern Utah's fall weather, getting in my walks most days and using the weight-room.

I'm stoked for winter: Snowbasin plans go open soon, and I already have my season pass. Now to find a good local ski shop to freshen up my ancient skis!

    Onward!

You are a whirlwind, Gig! Good for you!

I am down a whopping POINT 4 today. LOL. not exactly first week loss. But I am concentrating on the good news. I ate HEALTHY all day (probably a little too much) and I liked what I ate. I had gotten to the point where nothing soiunded good and all I wanted was chips. A day withouit chips is a success for now.

I know I often have a few days after loading that are rough because I have let myself graze all day and now I have to cut back to mealtimes. It takes me a bit to get on track. I remind myself I am in this for the long run and it it takes me until after New Year's. I am still ahead of STARTING after the New Year.

    Onward all!

Hey GZ! Sounds like you're busy with your new place. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents on the guest room thing. We recently put furnished our guest room and instead of a regular bed, we put in a Dresser style Murphy Bed. Just Google "Dresser Murphy Bed" and you will see several examples. We chose the one priced about $1500 that has built in charging station for phones and such. Our guests have said it is very comfortable for sleeping, plus you just fold it up when they leave and have a lot of space in that room too.

Pearly - glad your first week or so is going well. Just hang in there and the end will be here before you know it. As you are, my focus is on the end result instead of the number of lbs lost. It's the final result we're looking for, right?

AFM: I've been on P3 for just over two weeks now. Survived a couple of dinners out and have pretty much stayed within half of pound of my LDW, so I'm pleased with that. I think I can stick with the program over the holidays and just continue from there in the new year.
Found out last week that I will need surgery on my thumb for arthritis pain in the new year as nothing else (brace, heat, etc) has been working. Decided to go ahead and do it and get it over with... Down side is I won't be able to do another round until mid or end of February so that everything can heal properly. Also, I don't want to have to deal with calculating weight with inflammation from surgery and/or a cast. I will just do my next round when all of that is out of the way. Should be all set for summer when it rolls around (geez, I'm already thinking about summer...)
Anyways, that's my news for now. I will try to keep posting about how P3 is going in the meantime.

Take care all, have a great week!

Lou, So true. I used to only weigh every three days, and by then always had a good loss, instead of the point somethings and the up a tick, etc. I will think on that! Congrats on P3 going well!

The Murphy bed sounds super cool. I just got an antique full bed from a second hand store and a practically new mattress off Facebook Marketplace. My budget was a little tighter, so I spent $97 total LOL. The only guest I have is my nephew and he was asking for a bigger bed than the twin that was in there, claiming he hit his elbows when he turned over! My sister had all the linens that fit and no longer had that size bed, so whoo hoo.

I finished the leaves in the front yesterday. I worked about 3 1/2 hours on Sunday and gave up thinking it was too much! But a good night's sleep and I was able to finish, complete with blowing out the rock and flower bed areas. Today: Back yard. I have FIVE maple tress back there. The leaves are about 10 inches deep!

I did a LOT better eating right yesterday, but still only down point 6. No big losses so far this week, but I'll get there. I feel like I am in the right brain space. I just need the body to catch up and do what it needs to do!

Hi Pearly! Your bed deal for your nephew sounds great! Our guest room is only used 3 or 4 times a year, so we were more about the space saving than the price. This thing should last for many, many years. In our old house, we had a complete queen bed set complete with dresser, chest of drawers, night stands, etc. Our friends' daughter needed furniture when she moved from home, so we happily gave her the whole shebang. She was happy and we were happy to have the space. Win-win.
Sounds like you have your hands full with the yard work. Don't overdo it, OK? Good that you're eating better and feel good. That's what really counts, right?

    Take care --
