    I'm baaaa-aack!

The actual holiday was wonderful and I enjoyed and appreciated the Thanksgiving Greetings here, too!

Friday was good but hit the leftovers. After that, I don't know. Whatever was handy! I had planned on starting P2 yesterday but figured I might as well make a full week out of the Transition and PI. I was kind of a zombie, so just napped and watched Hallmark movies.

I'm up 2.8 from where I was on the first day of PI, so pretty much all of my Transitional losses and a little bit more. I keep reminding myself I am in for the long run, and I knew I would have a set back with a PI.

I only have 10 days before I have to stop again That will be 28 P2 days, not counting loading inj. so that's pretty much protocol. I figured I'd have to cycle back in after Christmas, and I certainly will, as I won't lose over 8 pounds in 10 days. I can hopefully whittle that down a little over the next week and a half.

I am stopping so I am off HCG for 10 days before I have my annual blood work done. Does anyone have any guidelines on that? My physical is the 20th, and I need to leave a few working days for results to get to my doc, probably have to do blood work on th 15th. Is 10 days off enough or do I need more? Can I do less?

Anyway, I'm back (and starving!) and ....

Grammy always told people to wait 6 weeks after your last injection for any bloodwork. Thyroid numbers especially will still be elevated, so I don't think you can get away with getting an accurate test result before then.

Thank you for that info, Leez! Cr@p. Well, this is not the thyroid or hormone dr, so will be doing choresterol and triglycerides. However, maybe that explains my elevated thyroid numbers that don't seem to match symptoms. Hmm.

As for today, down only .4 but I forgot to take my dose until mid afternoon. Duh!

I will have to think if I can rearrange the drs. Meanwhile...

After weight loss, cholesterol and trygliceride number will be temporarity elevated because of the fat burning process. Personally, I wouldn't take a chance on them wanting to prescribe meds for those. And you know they will want to. And then will pressure you about it. More and more info is surfacing about how much we need enough cholesterol for brain health if nothing else. (and of course there is lots of "else".) From what I've seen, most doctors haven't caught up on that yet.

    Hey ho, on we go!

That is good info, Leez. It makes me rethink my schedule some.

I won't be able to cycle back to hcg after Christmas if I need to lose a bit more, as I need accurate numbers for my thryoid appt the end of January, so need that six week thing. But I'm already too late to do six weeks for my annual physical on Dec 20.

Since the doc's office already pushed my appt back from Sept to mid-December because of a scheduling conflict for them, I will push it back again. I've been to OB-GYN, Thyroid, Heart and Eye drs in the past few months, so not like I need to hurry to a GP--I'll just end up with a handful of referrals. I'd rather have it in Feb or March anyway. That means I can go to mid-December with this round, so about 2 more weeks to lose as close to 8 pounds as I can. That is sort of doable. If I come close, I come close enough.

I am happy to be down .6 as I was NOT perfect yesterday. Not horrible, but it always seems to take me a couple of days to get back in the groove.

    Onward!!!

I'm always happy to see someone decide against cycling their rounds. This diet puts a huge stress on the body, and those resting times are really important to recover from that. I'm hoping with you that you get close enough to your goal that you are satisfied. Heck, I'll just hope you get to your goal and beyond. ^_^ I've had rounds that surprised me with unexpected continued losses at the end. It could happen.

    Hi everyone!

Can't wait for the new Dec. thread so jumping in here. I am back Annoyed with myself but happy with the fact that there is HCG.

I obviously need the reset once a year or so. I let myself go/get annoyed with not being able to eat what I want and then it goes downhill from there.

I loaded over the weekend (actually, I rogue loaded. I only loaded one day because I can never eat when I load. I ate really well over Thanksgiving and added HCG on Sunday. On Monday I almost forgot to eat and so far I am doing well (day 3 lol). I just miss eating certain things.

I have yet to step on the scale but will put my big girl panties on soon. I figure I need to lose 20lbs. Again. I don't feel excited about using the scale during P2. I eat protocol and it is what it is. Then I focus on the scale in P3. This last time I added a P4 but I think carbs are just no good at all for me. I need a carb plan and a treat plan for life after HCG.

My plan is a 6 week round and to either do a one-day interruption on Christmas Day or take the cheat. This is not ideal but will prevent me from gaining more weight before the new year.

Anyway, hi everyone! Hope you rounds are going well and are enjoying your successes!

Welcome back, MrsStrong! Well, sorry you are back but glad to see you! LOL. I will get the December thread up today so you can go to it tomorrow. I'lll post a link here when it is up.

Thank you, Leez, for your encouraging words. I do absorb them like sunshine! I keep changing my mind about how long I can go. I had the date wrong for my thryoid dr appt as it is the middle not the end of January, so I am already six weeks out from that. Dang. (had it mixed up with a dental appt! That's why old people write this stuff down and hang it on the fridge!!!) I will try to push it back a couple of weeks, as I am in the groove and don't want to stop TODAY.

However, I have work related Holiday Feasts on the 13th and 14th and yet another eye surgery on the 15th, so I need to stop by Sunday the 10th. 10 more days COULD be five more pounds, right? I lost during Transition for the first time EVER, so maybe I can squeeze out a few more ounces then.

Down .4 today, so only .2 over what I was before PI. A leeeetle discouraging. I am happy to get the .4's and .6's but could really use a nice 1.8 or some such to keep me honest! Yeeks. I WAS very good yesterday, so getting back on track. I made some of my home-made P2 soup and that really made a difference to have something HOT and quick for lunch. We are bouncing between nice 50 degree fall days and 12 degree winter days here and between that, lowering my &*$#@ thryoid meds and hcg, I am FREEZING. Hcgworking.jpg

However not going to list all the reasons I’m here but to say I’m back to square one. Meaning back to 153 where I was last March. Not really ready to start round with holidays coming up but maybe could do a short round before Christmas. Very very hectic. Not sure my mind is in the game but hopping on scale and on the forum means I’m getting closer to a round. I have some homeopathic nasal spray so might start with that after Thanksgiving. Btw scale up as my diet high in carbs plus fats. Bread and butter. I know the cause. Stress created by many things. Will be preparing for 6 Florida shows starting 2024 but believe that will be last year for FL. Even though sales are good the expenses and physicality of the show is a bit much. Age is factoring In.
Hi Rose. Glad to hear from you. Been wondering how your doing, but I was busy with Packing and Moving. Going to be a busy 2024 for you. I can well imagine the work in setting up for the shows. I sold my house and got us out of debt, with money left over. My son in law and my daughter live with me now to help with my husband. I am busy job hunting right now. Our weather has been fantastic so far, so am thankful for that. My daughter and son in law are going to Disney World at the end of December, they are excited for that. Expensive trip, but I am sure they will enjoy it. Her Brother, and his eleven year old daughter are also going, so they should have fun. Take care.
