    Weight going down too slow! heeelp please!

    my first round was super slow, 42 days and 25 pounds lighter did not cheat, did everything by the book, except that i didnt drink much water or engage in any exercise. i'm in round 2 after seven weeks, loading is over - thank God! my weight went up 8 pounds I was mortified. It took me a week to get rid of it and finally I'm starting to loose some, but again super slow (not cheating ok?!) drinking two liters of water a day, and will add some walking and yoga this week. I want to see better numbers, my weight now is 160.2 and plan to get to 135 by the end of this round. Any suggestions will be much appreciated!!!

    Hi sol! I thought one of the moderators would have responded by now because they are great. In the meantime, I would suggest you read over labels of everything you eat. For example, I was having some packaged fajita beef & chicken that when I took a look at the labels after having eaten 3 oz portions of each the day before for my proteins and gaining...in R2 I might add, I found they had sugar in the ingredients. I had found some in round one that was fine and didn't check my package on this purchase. grrrrrr Another thing to watch out for is any packaged deli meats because unless they specifically say they are sugar free, they aren't. A reminder that turkey is not protocol might be helpful. Some people have trouble with tomatoes and some don't. I ate them but for me I counted them as a fruit so that on tomato days, I just ate one fruit. Some people do better if they just eat one fruit rather than the allowed 2. I also weigh all of my foods and package them with calorie count marked on my baggies for the coming week when I am in P2 as it helps with grabbing ready things on the go. Finally, you may be in a stall...I had them in R1 & R2 and I came to appreciate them especially in R2 because I was doing some major reshaping, going down in sizes dramatically while I was staying at the same weight. Good for you for not cheating & getting your water in. Be of good courage. The losses will come back around.

    btw: Your losses for R1 come to almost .6 per day which is what mine were in R1 & R2 until I did a 20 day extension and during that time my losses went to .24 per day...not what I wanted. Avg for men is a pound per day & for women 1/2 pound per day so for me, I was doing better than the average bear.

    Thanks Shelia for your reply! Funny thing is I am doing everything exactly as in round 1. Maybe the fact that my weight went up crazy after loading, is messing things up a bit. I am focused and determined to reach my goal no matter what!

    25 pounds on a long round is not super slow. That's actually about normal for a woman. To maximize your losses make sure you are not eating the grissini. you can also try cutting one fruit and adding 100 calories of protein in its place. That sometimes works for slow losers. For some people, 2 fruits have too many carbs if you have some insulin issues.

    Thanks Colleen! I will try that Yesterday had my check up and they told me to add the miracle noodles. If I add them what should I cut? Thanks again!
