I just made the most insanely rich chicken curry, like something you'd get at an indian restaurant:

    6 sliced mushrooms
    1/2 onion, sliced
1 chicken breast, sliced in strips
    1/2 cup coconut milk
tumeric, cumin and curry powder to taste
finish with coconut oil to taste.

I just browned the top three ingredients in CO. Added the Coconut milk and spices and let it cook down to a HWC consistency (used Goya coconut milk that doesn't have thickener or stabilizer).

Once it's cooked down, add about 2 tbl of CO (or to taste). It thickened up even more and was SOOOO rich. Next time I'll use a bit less CO just because I couldn't manage all the sauce with that much CO, but for you CO fanatics, you'll love it!

    No obsessing here either. Yeah!
    VLCD1: 8/12
    Round: Too many to count
    Phase: 2
Method: Switched to injections from drops on 9/7

    Goal for this round:

    Overall goal somewhere under 135...

Shannon, that's why he's just the boyfriend! Seriously, though, this is your body and we make the best decisions we can at the time (well, usually). If he cares for you, he will let it go and try to understand &/or learn about the benefits.

Thankful DH and I are on the same page as far as supplements.... And so much more.

I was up another .2 today but still only .4 above LDW, I am right back to the weight I was at last Friday. It seems like I aways gain mid week and then loose on the weekends, crazy pattern.
I'm doing well on 2 meals per day. If I get hungry when it's too late to eat, I either take some more of my daily vitamins or drink some tea. Then I just go to bed since I fall asleep right away now! It really is amazing how I'm not craving the usual stuff. I did some serious family cooking this week which included stuffing & Pumpkin Pie. I didn't eat any stuffing (used to be my all time favorite) but I did eat a piece of pie. Mostly ate the pumpkin and left most of the butter crust. I was actually down a 1/2 lb today. It just isn't logical!

I have thought about this a little and think it is the Reset combined with that pantethine. Belly fat points to insulin issues and the Reset helps that immensely, that pantethine helps keep that cropping up because it is involved with carbohydrate lipid and amino acid metabolism. But.. if I had to pick one thing.. it would be the Reset Protocol.

that's a long time, are they sticking to that theory?... intuitively something seems like you should have it again, have you done any research? asked Dr. Kruse? do you know how your hormone levels are?

Glad you guys liked it! I was just trying to figure out how to get some CO on board without the heavy coconut taste and without more HWC. Made it up as I went along but it really is good, isn't it? If I'd had a big pile of basmati rice I'd have sworn I was in my favorite Indian joint. Next time I'll make cauli-rice to go with it.

    Good morning Leptins,

Lydia that recipe had me salivating too . . . I am going to try it soon. We have to make food choices exciting. My HDL is below 60 so no nightshades for me but maybe all this coconut oil will raise it for the next time I get back to P3, but I can live without nightshades for a while. Can you believe that I am not missing carbs and have to work at getting them in my daily menu. Luckily avocados have a lot in them so I can use that. (Still using store bought avocados, the ones I picked are still in the brown bag with an apple).

This morning, the scale stayed the same as yesterday which is a good thing. Still 1.2 lbs above LIW but that is not such a terrible place to be at 11 days in to P3/Leptin Reset so I am counting my blessings and getting the protein in with my BAB every morning. Ordered the pantethine which should arrive around Tuesday, pregnenolone, I am now iffy on since it has the DHEA combined and I see where maile complained of headaches on it, so maybe it is a better deal to take them separate? I am still thinking on it for a minute.

You guys are all a god send to me, thank you for the support that you bring with this thread.

I have searched everywhere for info on it and cannot seem to find anything. If a doctor told some of you to be careful because it would make you more fertile, I suppose that answers my question!
I would be careful of any BC that prevented TOM...tough to balance your hormones with any chemical BC
