    YW! I know how you feel. I am full with the breakfast but I got to at least make that 50 mark of protein. LOL. But, I do not eat lunch at all and eat about 12hours between breakfast and dinner.

    On Round 2, start date 6/9/12- start weight 324.6
    -----------------------------------------------
    Round 1, start 3/10/12, start weight 352.8, total loss for 31 days= 30.1 lbs.

    Hi gang......joining into this leptin Diet thread from my first HCG round which I started March 1st.......43 day round and nearly down 30 lbs.......absolutely thrilled with the transformation and have been P3 working on Leptin reset......I proved to be super sensitive to eggs with lots of irritable bowel symptoms so had to quite the scrambled eggs in the BAB and add more meat proteins!!! not a problem but fewer options......believe I am staying to between 25-50 gms. of carbs but missing fruits a bit so trying 1/2 grapefruit to see if I react to it!!! For the most part my weight is very stable and I am realizing some shifting in the inches over the past 2 weeks..........adding cocoa crack and lemon mousse but probably not applying correctly as am using as a "snack". Think I need to move the CC into a regular meal spot either BAB, or Dinner meal???? Your thoughts???

    Also wondering if anyone else has been adding the supplements that Kruse recommends for leaky gut???? There seems to be quite a few.......any advise from the more seasoned veterans???

    I think that having your CC with a meal is the choice way to do it, since you aren't to snack. I have had CC with BAB, and it was tasty!

    Hi!
    I will start the Leptin reset on Monday June 25! We are spending the week out of town with my parents and will be eating out the entire time so I want to start on Monday with the LR

    I will do as much research as I have time for tomorrow before we leave so I best check for Mondays menu now LOL

    Can we eat bacon or pork chops on the LR?? Or is it very lean meat and eggs only?

    I will read as much as I can tonight as well before heading to bed, but if I know the answer to Monday mornings' Big breakfast now...it will help a ton. I happen to have eggs, bacon and pork chops here already and would not have to go to the store at 6 am on Monday LOL I am usually up by then and want to make the 30 minute window~~~~~~ If no to the bacon and chops, would I just have eggs then?

    I will get the rest of the system by reading through the posts!

    Pork Chops, butter & bacon are all fine on the Reset. At first it was hard for me to eat first thing in the morning as I was never a breakfast eater. Then after a few months, I couldn't imagine going without it. Then after 4 months, I started to not want such a big breakfast anymore. I had the signs of Leptin Sensitivity so I changed my eating a bit by reducing my breakfast protein and upping my supper fat & protein.

    If you like bacon, WellnessMeats.com sells a sugar-free/nitrate-free bacon that is wonderful. You can never have enough nitrate-free bacon on the reset!!

    WOW! This sounds more like the dream lifestyle food! LOL

    I always buy the nitrite/nitrate free bacon but EVERY store around here carries that and most of them have sugar listed in the ingredients I have used one organic but still says less than 2% sugar yada yada. Lists palm sugar as the last ingredient so I am bummed. Thank you for the link! I will check that out and get some ordered then! We went to Costco this weekend b/c I read they carry a no sugar cured bacon, but ours does not have it, at least not right now.

    I will be ok with eating early I think.....it is just the amount that I will struggle with at first! 2 eggs do me in, but I can eat 2 thin cut pork chops with ease! LOL Go figure. I will HAVE to check myself with the bacon though b/c I could *easily* eat 8 slices of *that*! I will be happy with 2 slices, however since before HCG and Leptin reset I thought that bacon would only be for special occasions like my birthday! LOL So, once per week for chops or bacon is OK or is twice per week OK?

    I love fish as well and will be eating a lot of fish!

    It is soooo difficult to believe that I could have shrimp/scallops with bacon and cooked in butter!!?? Scampi is one of my favorites as well as scallops and I only had them once or twice per year because of the butter LOL I know there was always a pattern to my not losing as much as I thought I should while eating ONLY lean everything. I did not eat low fat because I knew about sugar...I just avoided high fat foods.........and never lost or felt super energetic as I wanted.

    I really really hope I can eat this way without gaining and am sooo afraid to begin! Did you ever feel that way? Sounds like I can start this on Saturday while out of town then! Wow, this will make choosing a restaurant soooo much easier on us all

    Hi there new to the thread. I have RA (autoimmune), low thyroid and gluten issues and doing the leptin reset. Round 3 on hcg. Does anyone have any menu suggestions?

    When you mention eating 4 eggs, do you mean 4 WHOLE eggs, or the 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites like in P2???

    I have whole eggs, personally. Some of my BABs have been 4 eggs with a steak and salsa. I know that CW says too much egg equals high cholesterol, but that's just wrong, at least in my case. Prior to HCG and Paleo/Primal eating (along with the LRx), I was at 205 total cholesterol, now I am at 170 total, and I eat A LOT of eggs!
    In the end, just do what feels best!

    Thanks Rusty I actually have really low cholesterol ........my doctor did a full blood panel when I started my HCG and my "bad" cholesterol was 119 and my "good" is only 35.... so even if I gained some, it is probably a good thing... lol.
