IB - I could probably steer clear of carbs in the morning, but what would you suggest for a carb during BAB? I am sure when I start P3 I will eventually want some.

You can hyperlink your texts I think. And thanks :-) Had found it! Cravings are much better. My hhcg drops have amino acids and using Braggs. I think it is helping. Haven't bought the book yet.

Im using Leptin rx in p2 and it helps... I actually am never hungry in the morning, but after Im not either, so either way Im not hungry if I do it that way....when I waited till lunch to start eating I'd get hungry sometimes and get cravings after I eat.

I usually eat 100-125 protein in morning only....then at lunch I have my apple and veggies fr one meal....then at dinner I have the other veggies and rest of my protein ....I try to skip one apple or fruit and add more protein if I can...

Sometimes at night Im not hungry at all either and forget to eat, but I would recommend that

If you want a carb in the morning, have a veggie in your eggs or fruit. Your BAB can be leftover dinner.
Just read Weight Loss Apocalypse which gave me new resolve.
Currently getting back to the ticker weight.

IMO while you are on P2, give up the melba to help with reducing the inflammation in your body. You are already doing that somewhat with the limited menu.

    Good luck!
Itsy: I love your expression - "wake up my appetite" - because I'm like that too. Once I wake up my appetite it's non-stop hunger the rest of the day, especially if I start eating carbs before sunset.

I did Monica Reinagel's Inflammation Free Diet Plan before HCG so instead of avoiding melba, I negate its inflammatory effects by using lots of anti-inflammatory spices - chili powder on meat & red pepper on veggies. Spicy food helps me stay on protocol too.

    Hi all,

I have a quick question about the BAB/LR during P3--
(I'm still on hhcg p2 but am definitely LS and plan on doing a LR)

Can we eat any kind of protein we want? Or are we limited to types? Red meat only? Chicken ok? bacon (sugar free kind)??

Thank you all for great LR info!

    Laela
