Are you losing or gaining on lr?

From what I can see on the threads, nothing's been posted about this very recently. I'm starting LR Sunday and wondering what experiences you all are having with losing or gaining on it? Any other insights about body reshaping, etc.? I'd love to hear about some of your experiences before I head into it!

LR works great for stabilizing, I didn't gain or lose weight with it.

    Hello
thought i would share with you.....i have been doing the leptin reset for 7 weeks now and it has been easier than i thought mainly because i have enjoyed the feeling of not being hungry in between meals and not needing to snack.Thats not to say i dont EVER as some days, i just want a little something so i normally have a square of 85% cocoa dark chocolate and this curbs anything going on and doesnt make me gain. I have noticed however that i am much more sensitive to nuts and cheese than i was on my first round P3 (this is R2 week 7 LS ) and always gain a pound or two if i have any so i have cut these out altogether. The only thing i am worried about is at what point can i introduce these sorts of foods again, when can i stop eating such alot of meat for breakfast, will i ever become leptin sensitive because at this point i cant imagine i will ever be any different. You do need to watch to scales every few days just to keep an eye on things because i have found that if i eat too much protein i will gain and have to cut it down for the next day or two. So although i am fairly stable, within a pound or two of my LDW, i still need to keep a eye on my weight. I hope this helps in some way, good luck!

I forgot to say that i have noticed that my body shape has changed, my legs are slimmer and my new clothes a little looser so from that point things are great!

Dee - I don't think you'll become LS if you snack AT ALL. I believe Kruse says that cheating makes you have to start the whole process over from the beginning! You might want to double check his website or ask Grammy!

#Oh dear......i know you are right and to be honest i do tend to have my bit of chocolate when i have my lunch or dinner so it seems like a treat, i try to include it with a meal. My gains seem to be related to water retention depending on the time of the month.

JustJoan-- Have you started? How is it going? I am the one who is gaining but I have decided it's worth it for the reset. I got very encouraged by following the journey of people on MDA (Mark's Daily Apple http://www.marksdailyapple.com/forum...32345-176.html) I think the key is to JUST KEEP GOING!

I'd be curious how it is going for you now...
    4 rounds Hcg injections
Gained on last 3 P3's (with MANY steak days)
Leptin Reset for 55 days now
Had to cut eggs to stop gain
Dr said time for LHT/HIIT on day 44!
    Gaining again while exercising
    Started 248
    Currently 203

OK, I did my 3 days post hcg and went off protocol during them. Ate quite a bit of chicken, some hard boiled eggs. Was just trying to wait until the hcg was out of my system. My body has really been crying for nourishment I think. Also, I've been stocking up on food for LR, so having that around might not have helped. Anyway..........today, because this morning technically marks the end of my 3 days, I'm kind of doing an in-between day. I did end up eating 42 g protein for breakfast which wasn't really my intention (4 eggs fried in CO and 4 Jimmy Dean Sausage patties). I know, they have some sugar in them. I won't be overdoing it on those! I really hope I don't gain, even though I do want to accomplish LS! Years ago I did the original Atkins diet and it kept me lean so I'm hoping all this protein will at least let me maintain. I'm going to plan on doing my 2 mile or so walks with my dog, but not my higher cardio bike rides since Dr. K declines much exercise during LR. I'd love to keep hearing your input.Little Lady! Are you still gaining and how long/how much? I can't remember what point you're at in the process. I'll try to keep posting my progress on here. BTW, I'm confused about whether you can have coffee, like between breakfast and lunch? Or in the afternoon? Dr. K probably says no coffee, but he also says anything with calories is a snack and coffee doesn't have calories. I can't imagine I'll be able to only drink plain water between meals and after supper. What are your thouhts?

Apparently you can only have coffee etc with milk as part of your meal but i think you can have herbal teas and water inbetween.

Hi everyone! I just finished a horrendous R2 of hcg. I have had lots of personal stress the past few weeks and it seemed to manifest itself into sugar cravings and emotional eating. Ugh! Anyways, onward ... I started the LR today. I did it between R1 and R2 and it really helped with cravings. I stabilized really well. I think that I didn't give it enough time and jumped into R2 too early. I'm not making that mistake again. I'm going to wait until at least August before I try another round and hopefully I'll be LS by then. Will love to follow your journey! Good luck.

Hi Sem, good luck with that. I found my R2 much tougher than R1 and am now 8 weeks into LS and think i have reached LS now. Its been an interesting journey but i am glad to have chosen the LS because its been so great not being 'hungry' and seeing my body shape change even though i have not lost any weight. Now im here though, im not quite sure where to go next. Do I just carry on eating as i am or do i SLOWLY begin introducing new things? I must say that i am a little scared of new foods that i have been going without for so long. Its abit like when you are going through the various stages of the hcg rounds, you feel safe being told what you are allowed to eat and scared at the thought of change. I think my worst fear is feeling hungry again and grabbing for the wrong things as a quick fix.
One day at a time i think!
