Hii!! Glad to see someone's still here, everyone seems to have dropped out. Well truthfully, me too I guess, but it's not much fun posting when no one's 'in' LOL. Congrats on the 20, You're doing great! I'm on round 3 and my total loss is 38, so you're wayyy ahead of me.

I'm at VLCD 27 and down 12.6 (pre-loading). Not too shabby, considering I messed up last week . Sunday was the coldest summersday ever and a drizzling rain. Nothing makes me more unhappy than to be out in weather like that (in my summer clothes of course), and we had chosen that precise day to view one of the palaces and grounds. Underground, 2 trains and a bus each way, waiting for each one in that weather, so I was quite miserable by the time we headed home. On one of the stations on the way my men decided to go have a big wopper, so I succumbed to a chicken sandwich . And I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

I'm quite content so far. It looks like I'm heading for the same 18/19 pound loss which I had in rounds 1 and 2. I had expected the losses to go down, so I'm pleasantly surprised.

I found the most delish recipe on Miracle Skinny Drops:

    Shamrock Shake (P2)

    7-10 frozen strawberries
    2 cups raw spinach
1/2 tsp. vanilla or 2 drops pure peppermint extract (optional)
8-10 drops liquid stevia – can also use flavored stevia
    1 Tbsp. milk
    crushed ice
    water

Optional P3 – 1 scoop protein powder, 2 Tbsp. peanut butter, blueberries, banana, etc.

    Blend and enjoy

I made it with vanilla, and it's delish!
I'm soooo glad stawberries are in season now, it makes all the difference in my choice of fruit.

Well, hopefully this long and explicit post entices some of the other posters back to this thread, come on galls, you can't possibly all have fallen off the wagon !!

I've mostly been on another thread.
I'm still hanging in there at a 17 lb loss. I'll probably be done with P2 on June 11 or 12th. Didn't do so good week 3, week 4 isn't much better. So, I probably won't make my goal. I can see changes already as far as inches, and that makes me happy.
    2014:
    Week 1: 6.8 lbs lost
    Week 2: 4.0 lbs lost
    Week 3: 3.8 lbs lost
    Week 4: 2.8 lbs lost
    Week 5: 2.4 lbs lost
last 4 days: 3.0 lbs lost
    22.8 lbs total

20 pounds in less than 4 weeks??? That's fantastic! Sure hope you got back on the waggon. Come and tell us about it, let's get this waggon (thread) rolling again !!

Hi Pamela! Wow, great looking new pic you have there! What a difference !
Terrific loss in this round too, I'm in round 3 and just managed that last week LOL. Well, I'm 64 so I never expected to be among the 'big losers', I'm quite content with what I've accomplished so far.

I am still checking in here periodically. Today is VLCD34 for me and I'm down exactly 21 lbs. I wonder what percentage of people start this program but never finish? It would seem pretty high due to the sudden stop in posts unless most of the people have just decided to do the program without online support? Hmmmm.....would be interesting to find out.

Congrats to all that are still hanging in there As I read many times when I started, 'this plan is NOT for the weak' (but the results are soooooo gratifying)!

I'm also still hanging in there. Last couple of weeks have been very difficult. I am starting P3 today. I know this isn't protocol but I think I will try and stablize the next 3 weeks and then start another round. Hopefully I will have my head in the game. The reason it has been difficult is at work we were in a middle of a huge move and my whole routine was changed. So in 3 weeks everything should be back to normal. I am a creature of habit I guess.

Well thanks! people are beginning to notice (non-family members!) quite cool I am doing a planned interruption starting on Thursday, so i'm a little nervous, hopefully it won't set me back too far.

Glad to see everyone's posts (I always read them) and that you're all doing well - to me losing is always a positive!

Yeah.... who woulda thunk it huh?

No loss for me today, oh well, can't have a party every day now, can we?

I weigh in every day, but so far I haven't taken my measurements yet this round. I'll save that for such time when I feel discouraged, or at the end of this round, whichever comes first LOL.
Since starting with Atkins (which gave me a 10 kg loss) I have now lost a total of 26 kilos = 57 pounds and I just can't wait to run into some people that I haven't seen for a long time. Hope they recognize me . Well actually, I hope they don't

I live in an apartment, so I don't have a garden, but I bought a strawberry plant for the balcony and today I ate my first harvest! BOY, is that GOOD, straight from the plant!! I'm running out to the balcony like once an hour to see if there are any more ripe ones LOL. It's like watching paint dry, but it tastes a heck of a lot better hahaha.

    Hello,

I have barley posted here since I started this round. It seems it has been very slow around here. I just wanted to come and give a quick update. Today is VLCD Day 20 for me and I am down 18lbs. I am only doing a 21 day round and I am guessing I will not loose my 5.6lbs to reach my goal. I haven't had long periods of stalls this round or had to do any corrections days, which actually makes me nervous for phase 3. Although I am so excited to start p3 on Friday, this is the scariest phase for me.

Do anyone remember how to calculate how many calories you need to eat to maintain in round 3?

    Round 1 - Pre-Load 191, LDW 168.6 (-22.4)
    Round 2 - Pre-Load 170, LDW 160 (-10) (short 12 day round)
    Round 3 - Pre-Load 183.6
    Load day 1 - 182.4, Load Day 2 - 183
    VLCD Week 1 (-9.8)
    VLCD Week 2 (-5)
    VLCD 15- 168.2
    VLCD 16 - 167.2
    VLCD 17 - 166.0
    VLCD 18 - 165.6
    VLCD 19 - 165.6
    VLCD 19-
    VLCD 20-
    VLCD 21-

Congrats on your incredible losses! I just learned yesterday the formula for calculating calories. It's 11x your weight. HTH

Happily chugging along at an avarage of .4 a day. Had a hiccup on monday, I hadn't slept that night and put on .9, which was gone on tuesday and this morning I had lost another .7. So I'm still a happy camper so far . I'm on VLCD 31 and have lost 13.2 to date. Two more weeks to go, but my experience is that losing weight those last 2 weeks is tortuously slow, so I can only hope to reach my usual 17 pounds this (3rd) round.

Fighting the pigeons for the strawberries on my balcony, it's an outright war!

... and another 0.7 down the drain!!
Also I'm way past 2/3 of my goal and just a measily .1 away from a healthy BMI !!

Is it this lovely summer weather that is making me so positive? Hmmm.... looking down and seeing AIR where there used to be a huge bulge doesn't hurt either LOL

    C'mon galls, let's hear how you're doing!
