I still feel like crap today. Headache and hungry. I'm wishing I would have ordered injections and not the tablets. The tablets say 500iu. That seems like a lot but I know it absorbs differently than injections. I'm not sure where to go from here. Thoughts?

    Happy Friday

Mama- Iím sorry your having issues: I wish I could help, maybe read the forums on how to adjust pellets? (hugs)

    How is everyone else doing????

    Welcome Liz, Cupcake and Jade

AFM: Feeling a little more energetic this morning and noticed my new batch of shots that I started taking yesterday have a little less in them then the first 5 doses from doctor. Potentially I was taking too much? Well, down another pound this morning for a total release in 7 days of 4 pounds. (I donít count load days- if I included load would be down 7.2 pounds!!!!). Itís a hot day here in TX and plan on laying out and getting a little Vitamin D  The scale will be interesting for sure tomorrow after a little sunburn. I have to make sure to drinks lots of water!

Have a great day and stay positive.

Question about loading, do sme load with. No carbs, aka maybe nuts, pepperoni, avocado, coconut cream, etc for less of a gain but still get their fats in?

I gained 2 lbs first round, 7-8 the second and third round, if I had only gained maybe 2-4 lbs those rounds, I would have an extra 10 lbs off! So I need ADVICE on how to not gain more than 4 lbs loading.
    Started JULY 2015
    Ended 4 rounds November 2016
    -80 pounds!

I keep gaining 20 to 25 of it back, I take off 5 pounds myself and then I do a round and lose 20 lbs. So I have done a total of 7 rounds. I am on my 8th round, taking the SAME 20 lbs off. ugh. But at least I don't gain 80 back!

You can almost always minimize the load gain by loading with good fats and minimizing carbs---especially refined flour and sugar carbs.

I've done it both ways. I had one good fats only load where I gained nothing on load. However, I still averaged about the same loss overall as on rounds where I gained 3-5 pounds on load. So really, for me it is a wash.

Its worth it though, to cut back on the junk foods just because you'll feel better. Often the foods we crave and eat on loads are things that produce a lot of inflammation--hence the huge load gains that sometimes happen.

I find it's easy to make smart substitutions: for instance, have cheesecake, but make it with xylitol and use a nut crust instead of a graham cracker one. Bingo--a great low-carb/high fat loading treat. You can take it from there.

@ MamaToYoyo: I don't have personal experience with the pellets, but that does does sound high. Even though you would like need more because of absorption issues vs using injected HCG. Drops are used at double the injection dose of 150iu because of the absorption issue. How many pellets are you taking each day?

It can be hard to adjust with the pellets, but the dose testing principles are the same. Are you able to break them in half? If so, skip a day, and if your hunger gets better by late afternoon, you can try reducing to half a dose each time you take them.

I'm taking tablets (apparently they are different than pellets) that are once a day and there is only one to take. I will skip tomorrow and see how I feel. They are tiny but I think I can break them in half. Thank you!

Let us know how you do. If you swallow the tablets rather than take them sublingually, I would be concerned that you are actually getting much HCG at all, though.

You might wish to check out this post from our resident nurse moderator about tablets: HGC Tablets

This is another post about tablet dosing: Adjusting dose with sublingual tablets?

Thanks for the info! One of those posts said they felt edgy and mad....that's how I feel. I'm going to skip tomorrow and see what happens. I actually went to the store today and bought Melba (I was not using them) and ate a little extra veggies! I can't really go on like this so if tomorrow isn't better I will stop and order injections. I wonder if New Edge has a guarantee?

Lost 1.2 for VLCD6. I'm feeling a bit "weak" and slightly dizzy from time to time. Not sure why. I also feel tired but it could be that I woke super early to help out at our church yard sale fundraiser.

Nice loss, Candle! It could be that the dizziness is from low blood pressure. Its not uncommon. You might check that, a remedy is to have a 1/2 tsp sea salt or mineral salt in a glass of water next time it happens and see if that helps.

I am on R2 P2 VLCD #6. Down 10 from load, 5 down from P1 LIW. I was good all week. Finally got the cranky mood symptoms today and can't stop thinking about blue cheese crumbles. It's funny because I don't even really like blue cheese! Last round I was cranky from VLCD 1-4. Hoping the crankiness and craving ends soon!

    Happy Mother's Day!

I went out to breakfast with my bf and his mom, and I just ordered coffee. I skipped eating lunch at his grandparents' house and instead ate an orange on the drive there and ate another orange on the drive to my house. For dinner we grilled for my dad, step mom, son, bf, and me. I ate chicken, asparagus, and one skewer with mushrooms, yellow and red peppers. I feel I did really well considering all the other food and wine at the table. It was a wonderful day! How did you all do?

Mama- Nu Image will deliver hcg injections will all the supplies the next day if you order by 4 Eastern time, but I had to pay a lot. I received them in the morning, so I was able to begin right then.

    Help!

Sooo....today is VLCD 1 for me.... and I left my lunch at home. I am sooooo frustrated I could scream right now. lol. I have no way of going home to get it, and I teach and can't actually leave for lunch! My only option is to buy school lunch...which I won't do because it's not good for you at all! Maybe they will have an apple or something that I can buy. I don't really know what to do! Any suggestions?! SOOOOO frustrated! Then what do I do for the rest of the day? I won't be able to eat until dinner because my oldest has soccer practice. Is it ok to eat all of the day's calories at one time? Or should I just eat the dinner's worth of calories and eat less than the 500?
