Good morning ladies! Today is my first 500 calorie day of R2, gained 1.8 lbs during my load days. I wasn't able to prep my foods this weekend due to mom making an unexpected trip to the hospital (she's okay and back home now). I was really busy yesterday too and thought "I'll just delay starting P2 until Thursday, no big deal". When I woke up this morning I was SO ready to start this next phase that I searched the fridge, determined to find something that would qualify for my first P2 meal! Brought to work with me an orange, 85g of grilled chicken breast and some shredded lettuce (keep a dressing in fridge at work). I'll have time this evening to prep for the rest of the week, so . . . here we go!!!

    Hi everyone!
I cannot wait to start this cycle. I did a cycle 3 years ago and maintained my weight until last year when I got pregnant with baby nr3. I need to loose 30 pounds and am hoping to loose at least 15-20 on this round. I feel so fat and all my pre pragnancy clothes donít fit me anymore.

Welcome Beulah! R2 VLCD2 for me and I too am SO excited to be starting this round! Yesterday was my first 500 calorie day and I was down 1.8 this morning so lost my load gain weight. I had a slight headache this morning but Tylenol knocked it out. I read a lot more than I post but will be here often for motivation and inspiration; hope everyone has a great day!

I just finished loading yesterday... I have decided I am just not a great "loader" lol. I can't seem to eat the amount that I know would be a good, solid loading experience. This time was quite different for me also- while I normally load "clean" and stick to my usual healthy foods...

    - Avocado
    - Salmon (smoked is my favorite)
    - Ahi tuna sushi
    - nuts and greens
    - eggs with mozzarella or cheddar
    - greek yogurt
    etc...

This time I went a bit on the wild side.... I had:

    - Lasagna
    - Butterfly shrimp
    - Smoked salmon
    - pad thai
    - oreos
    - veggie pizza (unplanned surprise by my husband... who says I never let him eat pizza lol)
    - cinnamon rolls (more than I care to admit)
    etc...

I'll be sharing this on my journey blog, but I have to say, I don't think I would eat this "bad" for a load again. By afternoon on my first loading day, I felt awful; no energy, shaky, and seriously drowsy... and I felt crabby (I never feel crabby!) I could also barely keep my eyes open while working. It was a beautiful reminder that what you eat, truly effects how you feel, physically and emotionally.

Jenya, I tried a P3 style load too. I was tempted to enjoy fried food but I always, always see an unreasonable 6-8 gain. But this time I made zucchini lasagna and literally ate that for two days! My load gain was a manageable 3.5 lbs. today is VLCD 2 and I dropped 3 of them. whew!
I do have that miserable early on headache. I hope it doesn't last too long!
    good luck today!

That's so great! Looks like you're off to a good start.

I was surprised but I actually lost about a pound during my loading days. I'm not really sure how that happened, but like I said, I'm just not the best at loading. This was definitely such a different approach for me too- like you, I'd stick to a clean P3 load in the future.

Today is VLCD2 and I was down over 1 pound from yesterday. I didn't have the headache, but I sure felt "off" by the evening. I'm certain that is my body having withdrawals from bad carbs and other nasty foods I've been eating lately. Today, I'm feeling much better. I'm taking Lipotropic injections too and a few hours after the shot, I always get this lovely endorphine rush that makes me feel so good. That definitely helps during the first few days when I'm adjusting.

I do wish I could exercise already but I have found in the past that it's best to keep to walking and chill a bit while adjusting to the Hcg and lower calories. In a few days, when my body says it's ok, I'll start going to yoga and add a little swimming and pilates.
