It happens that sometimes you can lose on the loading days. It does generally happen more often if you are loading without sugar or starches, so yay for you. I have noticed that my first week NET loss is about the same either way. It just looks more impressive to have a first weeks loss that includes a big chunk of load weight.

Good luck with your coffee plan. The coffee is the hardest part for me during P2. I use my 1 T. whole milk for that first cup in the morning, and that makes it bearable. But I miss it the rest of the day.

Update: I’ve read through many forum posts I’ve found on HCG dosing, but still find myself unsure of how to proceed. Today is my 5th dosing day and VLCD3; I'm using HCG injections from Diet Doc, mixed with B12, and started out at 150 IU. I am (so far) sticking to the Simeon protocol. Since the first VLC Day (Tuesday) I have experienced strong hunger—similar to how I’ve felt when doing 24 hour fasts (dinner to dinner). Tolerable, but definitely strong. On VLCD1 the hunger did abate a bit in the evening after dinner.

But yesterday (VLCD2) hunger was no better so I researched forum posts and re-read Grammy’s dosing instructions. Because my hunger was strong even after my 2 loading days, I followed her suggestion and this morning cut my dose from 150 IU to 100 IU, with intention of going up to 125 IU tomorrow and on following days.

I have to say hunger seems worse today—and I just had my lunch! Also feeling a bit buzzy-headed. So perhaps I should be going up in dose rather than down? I've read that it can take a few days to acclimate to dose, so maybe this is all normal?

Should I plan to skip tomorrow’s dose, or is that too soon? Any suggestions appreciated!

P.S. I am drinking a lot of water, so will take some potassium to see if that helps with the light-headedness.
