May 2021 Loaders - May Bees

Welcome May loaders, this is your thread!

Use it to get ready for your round, plan, share concerns, ask questions, give and get support, or just post for accountability. Whatever helps you get to your goal with HCG.

I'll be around to address questions and give my best guidance based on the original protocol, but often the best support comes from others going through their rounds with you. We always welcome input from other veterans on the forum too.

This months group name, May Bees, is a little play on words that ties in the month with an expression of hope that "maybe" you'll do better than you even imagined. If it's your first round, this will almost certainly be true, as HCG seems like a miracle to many of us who have not been able to lose weight other ways. Not only that, but to do it while feeling good and energetic, and without hunger of feelings of deprivation, is a most amazing thing and almost unbelievable.

All the best on your upcoming round!

Thanks for starting this thread Leez!

I will be loading Saturday May 1st. I have done hcg, about 10 years ago (both homeopathic drops and inj) but it has been about 8 years since my last round, so it's been a while. My son is getting married on June 13th and the dress I ordered won't even zip up....ugh....so, here I am. I am commited to this protocal and will most likely need another round (after the wedding) and NEVER let myself ignore the scale when it would creep up ever again! I have had a few issues with hair thinning and my TOM would show up and not leave during my rounds (I am now on Mirena IUD and haven't had a period for about 4.5 years now) so I will be interested in seeing if my period will return (crossing my fingers)!. I also plan on taking biotin 5000 while on this diet, hopefully that won't mess with this round and hopefully it will help my hair from thinning.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!! Let's do this!!

Thank you Leez for setting this up. Iím back for another round with hopes of reading up on P4 and finding a plan that works for me. I do well with structure and if I give myself wiggle room I tend to go off the rails.
Last round I exercised throughout with no issues but I wonder if I should tone it down and allow my body to naturally set to a baseline without strenuous exercise. I welcome your thoughts on this, Leez.
Looking forward to losing with everyone May 2021 Loaders - May Bees

Hi Charlie! (Poweredbystarbucks) thanks for the encouragement! I am the same when it comes to dieting and structure! I like to know exactly what to eat, how much to eat....and I know if I go off of plan I pay for it on the scale so that really keeps me sticking to it with hcg.
Yay....I am excited to start shedding pounds and inches with this group!!

Happy loading starbucks, may you enjoy your load days.

I love that floaty feeling I get when the HCG starts to kick in. What I don't love is that after the first couple hours, I lose all interest in food, which makes loading a chore.

Coco usually starts the Lovely Losers thread right on the 1st day of the month, so I would expect one to show up tomorrow.

Yes!! I am so happy to be back on. Relieved actually. Itís so frustrating that I can be POP and crush P2 and usually stabilize well and then once I Veer off course itís ugly!! This is something I will talk to my psych about.
I need to research the P4 lifestyle. I know you talked about THM and FMD, I think, I think when I hit P4 I need to lower the fat and stay away from trigger foods.

That you are thinking about a strategy for P4 before you get there is progress. And a good observation about trigger foods.

FMD can be very helpful to do for a while (for fixing carb sensitivity and sorting out what kinds of fuel your body likes), but I found it too rigid to be a long-term plan. THM has been relaxed and doable for me. You do have to experiment to figure out what works for you.

For those wondering what the acronyms are about, I explain it in this blog post:

    Here's to another crushed P2!
