P2D17: down 1.5 to 192.9. Much better, but I was definitely hungry last night after dinner, and I'm seeing my muscle percentages go down on the scale the past two days, which is not what I want to see. I'm wondering if it's time to do the dose test. I haven't taken any yet today, so I may skip the first two and see how I feel this evening.

You're still in range, Rose, which is definitely goals!

I wouldn't worry about "muscle percentages" on your scale. As you lose fat, the fat cells sometimes fill up with water, then release it days later in a whoosh! While retaining the water, your percentages will be inaccurate.

I'm not as much worried about the scale alone as I am the readings in combination with the hunger. I don't want to have to worry about muscle wasting, which is my concern if I'm experiencing hunger.

JennyV, the beauty of hcg is that it is a muscle-sparing diet. The shift in percentages on your scale is likely temporary.

How's it going Jenny. Did you do the skip day?

    P2D27 no loss.

This darn setpoint is looking to make me wait till the end. Its going to be hard to finish out these last few days. I'm really wanting to call it done at this point. Having said that, I'm now going off to do my injection and hope for a shift tomorrow.

P2D18: Down .4-- 192.5. (it was actually down .5, but my stupid scale app added some back!) I skipped 2 doses yesterday and was a little hungry last night after dinner, but not like the past two days, and nowhere near the point of NEEDING to eat something. I also didn't take my progesterone the night before. Ugh. I did 15 drops of hhcg plus my progesterone last night. I'm now supposed to keep taking the prog. 100mg til Thur then step up to 200mg for the next 15 days. Praying skipping a day of prog. doesn't make me start another period already. Not sure which direction to go with the hhcg. I may go ahead and open the new bottle and see if that makes any difference.

Any thoughts on that would definitely be welcome at this point!

back down 1.2 lbs so at 146.4 which is .8 under LIW. back to p3 helps scale and appetite. also keeping calories at a reasonable number (1500 to 1800)

So Jenny, sound like hunger was lessened at end of day? That would mean to lower dose.

The progesterone dose changes could be affecting things, results might be inconclusive because of that.

You can try a new bottle of hhcg, but unless yours has been exposed to strong light and/or magnetism-electrical fields its unlikely that is the problem. I think you said you are percussing prior to dosing which is about all you can do extra to make sure it's effective.

@rose; glad to hear the good scale report.

Hi all so happy to find others who are also starting in May. I am on day 7 injection and I only lost .2! I know not to worry as it all balances out over time but yesterday I took communion which the priest gives a tiny spoon the size of your fingerprint with some wine and a teeny piece of bread on it. The bread was smaller than my fingernail. I figured it would be no big deal especially because I am in first week losses realm but I think it messed me up afterall? Or it was the ‘calm plus calcium’ powder I had before bed. Have you tried that and does it cause stalls or gains for anyone?

I never know how to count my losses on week one. I usually just ignore how much I gained and then lost again to look at true start weight and how much I am down from that. So far only 2.6 lbs lost in first week. And that is 6lbs if you count my loading gains.

Thanks for having me and I’m sending love and happy losses to you all!

    Hi 1234, and welcome.

6 pounds lost in week one that includes loading gain is not unusually low. Thats generally what I lose in the first week. 6-8 is normal. Over-achievers might lose more, 8-11, but you can't count on that. Also, I count week one from the first day of P2. It sounds like you may be counting the load days. If so, you have 2 more days to get your week 1 loss total.

Communion will not derail HCG. There is a bit of starch allowance built into the program, and the tiny bit of wine is not going to change anything since fruit is on protocol, it can be considered just a bit of that. There is nothing there that is going to change the way HCG works, and not enough there to affect your calorie allotment. I used to stress about communion too, but eventually decided that it was more important to participate regardless any diet consequences. I never noticed any effect from it at all.

Calm calcium/magnesium is fine to take during P2. Just make sure you get a variety that doesn't have any added sugars.

Leez, I am wondering if it is the progesterone changes. My hormones are not stable, and I think it definitely comes into play. Since I am back on the 100mg til Thur, I may just hold steady on what I am using and how I am using it for a day or two... or maybe lessen it by a couple drops per dose and see what happens. I am making sure to percuss the bottle every dose, but I have been storing this bottle in the fridge, so I don't know if that would negatively affect as EMF exposure or not.

I can't complain because I am still losing, but I am also playing a long game and need to make sure I'm not sabotaging all the efforts I'm putting in. I was only a little hungry in the evening 3 days ago, but day before yesterday, I ended up eating a little extra bc I was just too hungry not to. That was after the night of stopping the progesterone bc I hadn't heard back from the doc about whether the new rotation meant stopping or continuing. I kinda wish I had waited to start HRT til after the diet was over to minimize variables, but it's too late to turn back now.

I went to the gym today with my cousin (who is a little older than my mom, so like 74-75) and walked on the treadmill for 25 mins before helping her with some of the machines. It was nice to change things up from the rebounder. I decided not to indulge in any of the weight machines myself til after I'm done with P2, but it's nice to know that I can, and that I have an accountability partner. We have another friend from church who works out there as well... she's 87 and GOALS!! I was happy to see quite a few older ladies there!
