    Hi, all!
I'd like to jump in, too.
After a very successful round over a year ago, I have reverted back to some bad eating habits which caught up with me very quickly. I'm committed to getting back on track so I can comfortably fit into my summer clothes.
I plan to load either this weekend or early next week.
    Good luck, everyone!

    Hi all,
I hope you dont mind if i join you. I wasnt going to do another round but had such a hard time stablizing last round . I had two boxes of hcg so thought"what the heck" LOL. Im loading yesterday and today. I hate that i always gain about 7 to 10 pounds loading. So carb sensitive. Ldw was 124.8 and sorta stable at 126 -128. I want to go to maybe 120 and have some wiggle room.Im sure i will gain up to 135 with load "ack". Happy losing to you all. This is a short round and final round!!

Day one of VLCD. I just had half of my apple and will have the rest during lunch. I prepared curry chicken and cabbage for lunch and will have strawberries for snack. Not sure what I'll have for dinner yet. Hope everyone is doing ok.

Welcome all new people to the forum!!! Very excited to see some people talking!

I'm on load day too, so I'm stuffing my face like a silly person. Does anyone feel like a Hobbit?

    Pippin: What about breakfast?
    Aragorn: You've already had it.
Pippin: We've had one, yes. What about second breakfast?
Merry: I don't think he knows about second breakfast, Pip.
Pippin: What about elevenses? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he?
Merry: I wouldn't count on it.

Hello all Im on VLCD1 and I think its going well gained 4 lbs on load days. I am doing the patch.
Also I am not a vet but this is my second time doing this as my first time was not finished.

Maggiep did you take HCG on your load days? reading previous posts it sounds like you will start taking it on your 1st VLCD day...unfortunatlly you need to start on your first load day.. I think it will be hard for you with hunger...as it takes a few days to get the HCG into your system...But I'd ake beth or Grammy as they are the ones I trust to know the most. Hopefully I misunderstood your post.

Maggiep you have to take your HCG during your load days it is so crucial! I have done 3 rounds and trust me I have spent my fair share of reading on here and Grammy and Beth will both tell you that you need to take your HCG on your load days! If you haven't read Pounds and Inches by Dr ATW Simeons I would reccomend reading it as well, it is the original protocol and the one to follow for best results.

maggiep - you are funny with the Hobbit words ....

well, as long as I don't stuff any food in my mouth for the rest of the night, then VLCD 2 is a success! I am done all my food ... this first week back on when I am done dinner I just want to hide away in bed until the next day ..... I do have a bit of a headache again tonight which is likely sugar withdrawal from the weekend craziness .... I am not hungry at all which is great ... just doing dishes though and saw some stuff in the kitchen I didn't see when I was loading and though - darn it ... I could have had that .... - so, into the garbage it went!

wish I could throw the kid's Easter stuff in the garbage but they would be so angry with me

okay - have a great night everyone

    start load: 218.9
end load / day one: 222.4
    day 2: 219.9
    day 3: 217.2
    day 4: 215.4
    day 5: 215.0
day 6; forgot to weigh before breakfast

Don't worry, I started my drops yesterday morning! All is well I was weirded out by a few others who said they hadn't, both here and at my job.

    Thumbs up

    Hi everyone
I am on my D2 of P1. This is my 4th time with hcg. I am doing the drops. The first time I did everything by the book, then didn't do the other times so well. SO , this time it will be done right again! I am starting at 145.6. My goal is 125.
It is great to be doing this with others.

    Hi everyone!
I'll be starting my 2nd round in a couple of weeks. I'm planning to do a longer round this time. I did a 28 day round back in February, and I'm going for 40 days this time. If I split the difference and make it 34 days, that'll be ok too. I lost 23.5 pounds my first round and an additional 3.5 pounds during P3. Not sure why I dropped the additional pounds during P3, but I think it was probably due to water retention being released or inflammation subsiding. I'm hoping to lose around 34 pounds in my 2nd round. That'll be almost 2/3 of the way to my goal.

I'm both excited and nervous about starting my second round. Excited because I can't wait to see the number on the scale get smaller each day, but nervous because the food restrictions are challenging. For those who are brand new to hcg, my biggest problem with the vlcd was about halfway through when I suddenly felt like I just couldn't eat another bite of meat. There were a couple of days when I would take 4 or 5 bites of my meal and then literally could not swallow another bite. My sister talked me through it, and I got past that feeling and was able to have a successful round. Whatever you do, don't give up before talking over any issue here on the forum or with someone you know who has done the hcg diet before. Chances are someone will have had the same experience and can help.

The great thing about the vlcd though is that it gives you a perfect opportunity to reevaluate your eating habits and relationship with food. One of my biggest problems is emotional eating or eating out of boredom. I couldn't do that on the vlcd. That really helped in getting me on the path to breaking those behavior patterns. I still struggle with them at times, but the urges aren't as bad, and seeing my new weight on the scale every day is a real motivator to eat right, that is, eat when I'm hungry, stop when I'm satisfied, and drink lots of water.

The best thing about hcg is the big confidence boost losing weight gets you. I was very overweight when I started my first round, and I still have a lot of pounds to lose, but already I feel so much better. I look forward to planning what I'm going to wear each day. Things that were tight now fit well and I fit into things that I had planned to give away because they were too tight. Now I'm giving away other clothes because they are too big!

Good luck to everyone whether it's your very first round of hcg or your 5th!

The little elephant makes me happy.

Hi, everyone! I am on VLCD1. A little worried since I actually lost weight yesterday (loading day 3) but, hopefully, it's just water since I couldn't fit more than a few sips of water between all the food! I felt like I was going to explode. The kids did loading with me so they are also on board to eating healthy with me (though many more calories than me!). My Vitamix came in yesterday, just in time. Made them a fruit smoothie this morning with a carrot & celery snuck in there. They even voluntarily took an apple with lunch! I have teen boys who like to eat junk so that's a big deal for me...

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well so far! I'm excited to be starting...
