    April 2016 Loaders Roundup

    Hi April Loaders!

This is a thread to get together with others starting their HCG rounds in April of 2016. You can use this thread however you wish--find buddies, ask questions, talk about your plans. This thread can become its' own group, or you can use it until you find another group you think would be a good fit, or even get recruits here to start your own group in the Member Support Groups forum.

Moderators will check in to make sure your questions get answered.

    So...take it way, April Loaders.

Hi everyone and good luck! If you are new to hcg you will love it! If you are a veteran it's so nice to have everyone here and be able to talk and share. April is a good time to load this year and do hcg because Easter is in March. I'm just finishing a short round and going to cycle in p3 for 3 weeks then start another short round in April. If I do good in that round I should be at a goal that I'm comfortable with. If I want to lose more I may do another round in the fall.
Hi everyone. I'm new here but not new to hcg. Please feel free to send me a message and say hi. I love to talk to people and share success stories! I'm hear to learn and encourage people! I've lost 30 pounds and I'm currently using Homeopathic Hcg. This has changed my life.

Just a note to any first time people joining this thread: If you are following the Dr. Simeons manuscript, it is not recommended to skip the 3 weeks (or more depending what round you are on) of P4 that follows the 3 weeks of P3 (stabilization phase). To do so doesn't give the needed break between rounds for your skin to catch up, and to insure that you will not develop immunity to HCG in subsequent rounds.

Skipping the P4 waiting times between rounds is called cycling, and it is not part of the proven protocol method.

Dr. Simeon's method was developed for those with broken metabolisms, who can't seem to lose weight any other way. It is finely tuned to repair your metabolism. And it works. It is a precious gift to us who have that challenge. If you think you fall into that category, it is not logical to treat it like a diet that you can manipulate to suit your taste and timetables. To do so can jeopardize your success.

Anyone loading the first week of April? This is my 2nd round. Lost 24 pounds in August and did great until January. Stopped eating veggies and went back to my old habits. (wine while cooking!!). Starting gaining weight back. I'm about 6-7 pounds up and need to jump in and do something. I reached my goal weight last time but still not back to my lowest weight ever. (which is not something that I really feel I must reach). So, back to get the 6-7 pounds off plus 6-7 more. So, hopefully this last 15 will come off as easily as the 24 pounds did in August. I'm planning to load April 7-9th. Enjoyed and appreciated a few friends on the forum last time around. It really DID help me stay motivated etc.........I have a quick girls trip to Mexico 2nd-6th.......so, body will be primed with fat/splurging. (the last hooray!). I plan to do the injections again as well as the Lipo/B-12 injections weekly. KMac

Do you find that the Lipo/B12 injections help or make a difference? If so, what is the difference?

I actually didn't do the Lipo/B-12 during my last phase 2 round. But, I did do one per week in phase 3/4. I struggled with energy during phase 2 last time.......i could take a brisk 30 min. walk in the morning and by 4pm I was WIPED out. I generally felt drained the entire phase 2 period. I DID felt a nice boost in energy when I took the injection during phase 3 so my clinic recommended I do them in phase 2 as well. I also struggled to get to 500 calories last time and that could have played a part in my low energy. This time around, I'm going to up the veggies in order to get more calories in and start off the first week with the Lipo/B-12 injection. I can definitely let everyone know if there is a difference. Looks like I'll be a few days behind you! (also, the clinic I go to is very reasonable with pricing of injections and shots......that HELPS a lot when factoring in the decision.) I really want to believe they will make a difference!! But, I know how I felt last time and will be able to objectively tell if they make a difference.....(at least for/to me). KMac

Round 5 Rx Injections - Starting over again after 4 Rounds Rx Injections Jan 15 - May 16

I am also starting another (fourth) round this Saturday (April 2) and plan to clean load (lots of healthy fats and low carb). My best round was my first one. The second and third were disasters. I had dosing issues in the second round and had to cut it short, and right after I started my third round, I got laid off from work, was very stressed out and just lost my mojo. I ate more calories and things that I shouldn't have, and didn't lose much weight. I was pretty stable through Phase 3 and in Phase 4, in January, I started THM, and GAINED several pounds. I was also diagnosed with adrenal fatigue at the end of February, and started taking adrenal cortex for it. I feel a bit better, am sleeping more soundly and have more energy. BUT now I need to get rid of the 15 pounds I gained from all of this

I ordered the 46-day kit from Nu Image, and bac water from another site because Nu Image sent me the B12-MIC solution, and I don't want to mix that with my HCG. I am going to use Grammy’s Protocol (http://hcgdietinfo.com/grammys-hcg-diet-protocol) for mixing instructions (10 ml of bac water with 5,000 IUs of HCG). I just need to figure out WHICH dosage I should start at. In my first round, my dosage was 170 IUs, and that worked well. BUT my doctor used that same high dosage in my second round, and I had hunger issues, and she wouldn't change the dose. I went to another clinic, and they dropped it to 125 IU, which I think was too low and then they upped to 150, which was still too high. So I stopped the round. In my third round, I was at 140 IUs, and that seemed okay, but as I said, I got sidetracked. Since I'm now several pounds heavier than I was at the end of round 1 a year ago, I might start with 150 IUs again or 145 IUs and see. Honestly, the dosing is what scares me the most here, because when that's off, nothing works, and I NEED to drop this weight

What I've learned from all this is that, as a menopausal woman, I JUST CANNOT eat starchy carbs (except for VERY small amounts of things like buckwheat, quinoa or beans/lentils - maximum 100 grams per day) and NO dairy or eggs at all because of intolerances. No wheat, almonds or oats either also because of intolerances. Many of THM's recipes are built on dairy and eggs and incorporate oats and almond flour. I tried to substitute and modify, but the results were just unappetizing and inedible. So when I'm done with this round coming up, I will stick with a Paleo template: lean proteins and fish, healthy fats, lots of vegetables with bits of quinoa and soba noodles in the evening for my adrenals. I will also do more walking in this round and maybe a session of Pilates once or twice a week. Nothing strenuous until my adrenals are strong again.

Honestly, this has been a nightmare for me. I NEVER thought I would be back to where I was a year ago. I'm just grateful I'm still pretty close to my R1 LIW. My thyroid levels are good, and I got a higher progesterone to estrogen ratio, and I'm hoping that between the adrenal fatigue treatment and staying away from the offending foods, that my next round and stabilization will be successful.

If anyone has any input, suggestions or ideas, I would be very happy to hear them. Thanks for reading!

Well - I decided to load a day earlier! I load with all my horrible craving foods - Pasta, donuts, etc... I actually has worked out very well and my rounds have been successful and I have kept the majority of the weight off - with exception of 2 lbs - for the past 7 months Here's to another round! Its going to be just a short one for me - 28 days - as that seems to be my sweet spot and if I go over that I struggle big time. I have a wedding to be in in August so I need to lose this weight!

My biggest problem with the HCG diet is hair loss. Even to this day I lose more hair on a daily basis since starting this diet in August. I do take Biotin supplements but they don't seem to help

    Girlsgottalose and latigresse..........LET'S DO THIS!!!!!

latigresse- Reach out to some of the site moderators for help on the dosage questions/concerns. Grammy or Leez..........they will be able to help you. Hopefully, you can find the correct dosage right from the start and that will take the stress away! I've learned that staying calm helps the process. I am also concerned about the unknown of a 2nd round. I'm worried I won't have the same results. I didn't cheat on my last round and had great results so I'm going to do pretty strict protocol this time as well. If I can loss 15-20 lbs. This can my last round EVER!!

Girlsgottalose- I'm also doing a 28 day round. Well, I have 30 syringes but can get some more. I went about 30 days my previous round and lost 20 pounds. The first week I lost about 10lbs. and then the last 10lb over the last few weeks. Depending on how things go this time, i may reach my goal weight before the 30 days. However, I think i remember Grammy saying that when you reach your goal weight, you still need to finish the round. Just upping the calories to maintain the goal weight. I don't think I could have done a longer round the first time around. I was so tired each day......I'm hoping for the same great weight loss results this time but WITHOUT the fatigue.

I plan to load April 4-6th (while on a mini vacation). I'll be off grid starting tomorrow and will be back on the 6th to "catch up" with you guys. Good luck with the start to both of you. My motto last round was "eating intentionally". I carried that motto with me for 5 months and then STOPPED eating intentionally and gained some weight back. What I've learned..........I can't drink wine every night and pasta/breads can't be an everyday item. Also, it's just dang hard to keep the weight off after 50. Which means, I must eat intentionally for the rest of my life!!!!!!!!!!! Sigh. Be back in 5 days!!!! KMac

KMac how much have you lost on HCG total? Thankfully on HCG I really don't get tired, otherwise I don't know how I would do this...especially with 3 kids and working full time (and PT).

Thanks, KMac. I had NO hunger in my first round and it, honestly, was a breeze to drop 30 pounds in that round. I'm hoping for a successful round this time, if I achieve that, then no more for me either. I will see what Leez and Grammy recommend.
