Hi All! I've been stalking / obsessing these forums for the last month. I finally have access to post and I just started my first round. I'm on P2D4 and so far it's pretty easy! When it comes to tracking total weight loss, do we calculate from pre-load weight or from the first day of phase 2? Like I gained almost 6lbs during loading and have lost that plus 2lbs. So have I lost 2lbs or almost 8lbs? I know this has been addressed somewhere, but I can't seem to find that entry again.

    4/10 P1D1--- 213.8 Loading Day #1
4/11 P1D2--- didn't weigh bc I was coming off low carb and knew this would sky rocket and would discourage me from continuing loading

    4/12 P2D1--- 219 (+5.2) Post-Load
    4/13 P2D2-- 213.4 (-5.6)
    4/14 P2D3--- 212.0 (-1.4)
    4/15 P2D4-- 211.6 (-.4)

    Welcome Bzblonde,

I'm always amazed at how good I feel in P2. Its so unexpected when eating so little, but that's the magic of HCG.

The average loss for women is .5 pounds per day over the whole round. That average comes from computing your losses including the load weight. So according to that, you've lost 8 pounds so far. You were wise to expect a big jump after a long period of low carb.

You've discovered that other wonderful thing about HCG that often lets you lose the whole amount of loading weight (often plus some) after the first low calorie day. It sounds like you are right on track.

Interestingly, you can minimize the load gain by avoiding sugary carbs during the load and concentrating mainly on fats. However, that doesn't really change that first week's net loss, so its really fine to load either way.
At goal since 2015. \(ᵔᴥᵔ)/ Total HCG loss: 77# [5'5" 210-133] Maintenance strategies overview
Please note that any suggestions I make are based on the Original Protocol.

My recent HCG round was with DietDoc. Our site owner has generously arranged for me to earn a small fee if you use my DietDoc or Nu Image Medical link to order your Hcg and supplies. Hello everyone. I started the last week of March. I believe this is my third successful round I am on VLCD 25. Iíve gone from 185 to 165. The past week and a half Iíve been so tempted to cheat or just quit the diet. I am thinking about bread and chocolate non-stop. I donít know what it is because I am NOT hungry. Please help! I am trying to make it to day 40 or to at least lose another 10 pounds.

Edit: I have not cheated at all this round which is why Iíd like to continue that way.

You're doing great! What helps me stay on track is taking it one day at a time. (Or sometimes one meal at a time. ) If I don't let myself think ahead too much, its easy to just deal with today.

When I get a chocolate jones in P2, I make a chocolate sauce with 1 T. cocoa, sweetener a bit of salt, vanilla, and then thin down with water or my T. of whole milk for the day. Then I dip my strawberries in it. That usually takes care of the craving.

I don't seem to have bread cravings in P2. I guess the melba toasts satisfy me. I never leave those out! (bread girl, here)

Lol Iím a bread girl too. Itís gone as far as me just smelling it to satisfy the craving but I never have Melba toast. I guess i try to be strict no grains and just stick to fruits for my carbs but that trick is no longer working. I will buy some cocoa and give your recipe a try.

I am so close to a normal BMI (couple of lbs) for the first time since childhood Iím trying hard to fight against these awful cravings.

Will hit P4 Apr 25 but since i am 12 hrs day work outside i will stick to p3. Bring almond butter no sugar no salt to crave hunger if it occurs. Will try somehow to find veggies even if just side salad.
