    Hello!

Well today is day 23 on HCG (homeopathy), and it is my last day! I lost a whopping 1.2 lbs last night which was a surprise as I had been plateauing, so that was a nice way to end. I am at my target weight goal and I lost a total of 18 lbs (from early March), 15lbs from loading and 12lbs from pre-loading. I include that 18lbs because honestly I don't know why I was so much lower in weight when I started this diet!

I am nervous about going off of P3 as I don't want to regain the weight. I aimed for 2lbs lower than my target weight just to give myself a little window, so that is good. But I am nervous. I will trust the process and fingers crossed. I plan to use P3 as a time to identify potential food sensitivities (eggs, nuts, dairy and then wheat to P4), to repair my gut lining with some glutamine, slippery elm, okra and zinc gluconate powder, and to make some better habits such as: no eating after dinner! and exercising! I am writing these here because if I write them publicly I have a better chance of holding myself accountable. Really want to use this diet to be healthier overall.

So that's it for me! Off to find a recipe to make my own mayonnaise in prep for P3!! I hope you are all doing well and losing inches and pounds!

You had a great short round! I usually only lose about 11 lbs on a 23 day round. It is nice to have that big loss the last injection day.... I try to stay on a modified p3 when i go to p4 cause it seems to be my best program to staynon track.

Today is my last inj day so also the end of my 40 day round . Ended with a 16 lb loss beginning weight or -17.2 load weight.
So since i take reg hcg monday is when i begin p3

Congrats on finishing a successful round, rose. I'm sure you are feeling great relief right now to be mostly back to normal. That is the best feeling ever!

Leez, Iíve lost 4 lbs on three injections since ending my PI on Monday and Iím please with my physique and losses. Is there a minimum amount of time I need to complete after a PI? Because the better maintenance of a 30-injection round, I just took my 29th injection.

Savannah, you need to have 3 straight days of dosing before you start transitioning to P3. You can stop anytime after that. Sounds like you are good to go.

The reason is so that you have enough HCG in your system to be comfortable during the transition.

Thank you so much! Thank you for your guidance through my PI. I feel it was an important part of this round. The Shelter In Place wears us down and protocol is also mentally grueling. I needed that break of the strict protocol and it gave me just that.

Hi all! Iíve had good success on hcg in the past, 15 lbs in 2106 and 15 in 2018. Iíve slipped and am back up, totally my own fault. Ugh. My question is, I take a daily medication that requires me to eat with it, specifically fat. If I donít, it causes nausea and vomiting. Short of not doing hcg, which is the only method that has ever worked for me, do you have any suggestions for what I can eat with the medication that might help with the nausea? I tried just eating the VLC dinner with it and it made me so sick that I cant take it. There has to be an answer, I canít be the only one struggling with a medication issue. I tried to search the forum before posting here but didnít find much help. Thanks so much for helping me, and you are all SO BRAVE for doing this during quarantine!

    Much love!

If fat is the only thing that prevents the nausea, you might try taking it with some MCT oil. MCT is a form of coconut oil that the body burns quickly like carbohydrate. Some people are able to be successful on HCG while adding a little MCT oil. Usually it is a T. or less per day. Its not on protocol, and there is no guarantee it will work in a way that allows you to successfully stabilize afterwards, but you can give it a try.

If you want to stick to protocol, you might try taking your medication along with one of the melba toasts.

Another thing you might try that could be compatible with the diet is take your med with gluccomanan (konjac powder) pudding. Heat a cup or so of water, and flavor with sweetener and vanilla & a little pink salt. Dust with glucomannan (you'll only need a very small amount, 1/4 tsp or less) and whisk until it thickens. (or dump it in and use an immersion blender) Add your allowed T. of whole milk to creamify it. That might be enough to coat your stomach and prevent the nausea.

Glucomannan is all fiber, it has no calorie value. There is a bit of a learning curve to using it because it doesn't thicken immediately. It takes a minute or two to start gelling.

Thank you! Iím going to try the glucomannan first (I have some) and then Iíll try the MCT Those are both great suggestions. Nausea is the worst. And Iíd like to come out of quarantine having made forward progress instead of backward!! Thanks, Leez!!
