HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSE! It is so Great that you don't feel your age. I think the key to feeling young at heart is to stay very busy, which I know you do. Hope you celebrated in style, or as best you could on a transition day!

Love the title, Leez. Such a wonderful reminder that HCG, as a powerful way of taking care of ourselves, is indeed an act of loyalty. I'm going to let that be my guide through this month of P2 for me. I should transition into P3 the second week of May or so.

Scale was 157ish this morning. Still aiming for 140ish by the end of the round, and most importantly, figuring out how to stay there. My travel scale has arrived, and it shows my weight as .4 to .6 lower than my regular scale. Oh well. I figure for travel purposes it will suffice. Travel seems to always throw me off, and since it's one of my favorite things, figuring out how not to let it throw me off feels really crucial.

Getting things in order for P3 is definitely self-care. I've traveled during P3, and using the scale does help keep me on top of things. I've not got into trouble during P3 travel where I had to correct, but the benefit for me was peace of mind knowing I was staying in my window.

Glad your round is on track.

Checking in on Friday. Down 0.8 this morning on VLCD 12, so about halfway through. Feeling a little restricted with protein choices, but enjoying having Chicken Tenders instead of breast, which I have come to hate. Tenders are much less likely to be dry and actually have a little bit of flavor. Sometimes I feel like I'm just eating because I have to... bored, for sure. BUT definitely enjoying seeing the lower numbers on the scale

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

For me the diminished choices are generally pretty helpful, but I hear you on the food boredom. One thing that's helped me is The HCG Gourmet Cookbook by Tammy Skye. There are more different recipes than I could possibly try on any given round, but the sauces/marinades/dressings alone make everything more palatable and are worth the price of the book. I'm also relying heavily on pureed soups, which suits the weather here lately.

Anyway, not that you asked for advice, but I thought I'd share what's been working for me. Cheers to being halfway there, and happy weekend to you as well!

I agree with you, Linderlou, about the tenders being more flavorful. Especially if cooked right before eating because they keep their juices. I found them a better choice for P2 as well.

Quick Saturday check in to keep myself accountable. UP 0.1 this morning, so basically a little stall. I did nothing different and was POP. I just have to keep visualizing that graphic that Christy used to post about the fat cells filling with water and then eventually, whoosh. Keeping a positive attitude and counting down days until Easter...

DH BBQs the chicken to perfection. Sesame Ginger marinade is my favorite seasoning. Not in P2, of course. Walden's Honey Dijon or Ranch is what I use in P2.

Today was first day of P3 so interested to see scale tomorrow after eating 3 meals today. Not sure exactly calorie count today but prob somewhere between 900-1050. Bacon and grape tomatoes and small bite of chicken breast with dab of butter blueberries for snack. Liver onions and peppers for lunch. Strawberries for snack. Tilapia and asparagus for dinner no fats. Usually I eat less than this first day so not sure of scale but knowing I will be fine at end of 3 weeks. Will take scale out of town as usual tho it varies on different flooring it will be my guide
