I will be joining you soon, likely some day this week. Some stress right now that is delaying my start.
SO looking forward to having a buddy!

I finally was able to start loading today. Actually just took my first injection a few minutes ago. Have to get breakfast in soon before I lose my appetite. That generally happens a couple hours after my first dose.

How are you doing, Imzacksmom? Looking for a good week 1 report from you.

Rose, it always amazes me that you can lose a little in P3 so consistently. Hope the trend continues for you and you don't need that summer round.

Most of the way through loading day one. So. Full. Not sure I will be able to eat dinner. Maybe in a couple hours. Losing desire for food so early into loading is such a cruel joke. Not even ice cream sounds good!

O well, only one more day and then on to the scale obsession phase. ^_^

day 2 of loading. Food aversion has set in. Not even the cheesecake looks good to me today.

I will get through it. One good thing about loading days is that it gives you time to adjust your mind to accept the first day of P2.

Planning a shopping excursion tomorrow as a distraction from the eating change.

P2 D1: Starting at 149, 3 pounds over my January LIW, and only a 1 pound load gain. Pretty happy about that, since I didn't stick to my original super low carb load plan. Had some chippy stuff and baked a sourdough rye loaf to get in a last bread fix, but managed to avoid anything sugary.

I always love the weigh in after the first diet day. I usually lose multiple pounds and get a great send off into the rest of the low calorie phase.

P2D2: Down 2 pounds, so load gain gone plus 1. Always want more, but happy with that.

Not missing anything in particular. I am able enjoy P2 food because I always cook it fresh--that makes a huge difference in the enjoyment factor for me. But its generally just plain stuff done on the Foreman grill with some spices. I plan to repeat my tweaks from the January round and enjoy a bit of half&half in my morning coffee, and add some bone broth in the evenings if it sounds good. Both of those tweaks, plus discovering I could substitute a FinnCrisp sourdough rye cracker for the melba toast has really cut down on the deprivation factor for me, making the round so much more peaceful. Neither seems to have had any adverse effects, so I'm doing them again.

Rainy day here, so lunching on some chicken soup with cabbage. I like to add some chopped fresh cilantro. The fresh greens make the soup special.

Hope you are not traveling through storms. We have some serious ones projected today north of you.

P2D3: Down a pound and today back to my LIW from the January round. It's all progress from here on.

Trying not to think about weeks ahead, just focusing on today. I will need to get out and do a shopping trip soon, as I am running out of breakfast apples. Enjoying one now with a cup of Constant Comment hot tea. We are cold and rainy here today.....so I may do some chicken/cabbage soup for lunch.

Sounds like you are off to a good start, amyc. Enjoy your load days.

P2D4: 145, down 1 pound. Gotta love the first week of P2.

I'm feeling good, no hunger. Had a larger vial of HCG than I need for this round, so this morning I filled the extra doses into syringes and will freeze for another time.
