    Stay focused friends!

An update! I am on P2 day 25. I have been on/off protocol for the past ten days and am here to tell you it is not worth it to get off protocol. I have had a 7 day recovery to get back to where I was. Today I was 1 pound under my weight of a week ago.. I was elated and will reach 20 pounds lost in P2 but could have easily reached my goal of thirty. HCG works! It has been an amazing journey and I would recommend it to anyone. I have used the oral drops CR 500 program. I have not seen anyone else mention it but i was NEVER hungry and did not have to adjust the dose up and down like many I have seen. I have done 10 drops three times a day and was very successful with it. I am hoping my coach will let me extend to 43 days which wil get me very close to my goal of 170 pounds. I wish you all the best of luck with your hcg journey and please think twice before you get off protocol. It is not worth it. Jim

I am merely learning this process, as we all are. Needless to say, I felt bad enough about it to post here what I did in an effort to try to HELP someone else not to try to push someone to eat "off protocol". Do I regret it? Yes. Can I take it back, NO! Do I need you to tell me that "I may never stabilize"? Not really. Needless to say, my "cheat" did not resolve my problem. I lost only .3 of the pounds I gained during the cheat. Now Lynne you can say I told you so and go back to your self righteous pedestal.
For those who want to learn from others mistakes as well as successes.... After doing some research last night I think I may have figured out why my losses had slowed or significantly stalled. I believe that it was a result of TOM, and now ovulation. I have relatively short cycles. I ovulate generally 5 days after my cycle ends. I am gearing up to ovulate now... Dr. S stated that some women don't lose or even gain during TOM and ovulation. This may be evident by seeing a decrease in urine output despite drinking tons of fluid. Looking back, I definitely saw my urine output decrease over the last 7 days when my stall began. I wish I had found this information PRIOR to cheating, but I didn't. I will now be sticking to protocol from here out. I have 22 days aprox left in this round. Whatever weight I lose or don't lose I will be at peace with. I am proud of myself that my horrible day of cheating did not lead me down the slippery slope of " well I screwed up might as well keep screwing up and give up on this whole diet". This is what I have done in the past... and if nothing else happens during the rest of my round, I will have that triumph as well as a new way of looking at food, and myself. I hope that in the future we can continue to share our successes and triumph's here without so much judgement. I certainly would support anyone here through their journey, no matter what mistakes or misfortunes we may face... we are all after the same goal.

Thanks Shannon! and all the others who were supportive!
Harbin - Yes, maybe it was a little harsh. Sorry if you took it harder than I intended. I am not self righteous at all, just don't people going out and cheating like crazy and coming back here and telling us all about it. I understand now what you are saying about your dilemma, and why you made that choice. We have had recent posters on here going on about their big cheats too, and I don't see why we have to hear the details. I think we are here to be supportive of people coping with the challenges of the protocol, so that they won't go off protocol; no those who make a conscious choice to go completely against the protocol and do whatever.

That said, I hate to hear of anyone starving on this diet. In my opinion, someone going hungry should increase calories to 1000 or 1200 (or where they feel necessary) to not starve and not damage their bodies.

Shannon - Why would you think that finding the optimal dosage is against protocol? I think Dr S says 100 to 200 ius, and my doc prescribed 250 ius, so I needed to find out what was right for me. I have settled in at 200 ius. There is no reason not to find your optimal dosage, and I didn't see anything to contradict that in P&I. You can say all you want about bullying, but I didn't bully anyone. I only stated my opinion and concerns. You did the same.

Glitter! You have had some amazing results! Especially since you don't have much to lose! Way to go!!
Lynne- I think we need to just call a truce. I agree that listing what I ate, may have been a little off color. It wasn't intended to derail anyone, and I wanted to put out there what I actually put in my mouth. I made a choice, to experiment to see if it would work. It didn't. And I learned a valuable lesson, to be patient and see where my weight ends up. I may weigh the same tomorrow, I may weigh less, or I may gain. However, had no one else offered support after your post... I would be reluctant to post that information for fear of the " see i told you you ruined your round" I may see from someone who posted what you did. At least this way, someone can browse our post and use me as an example to NOT cheat since it didn't pay off. I got the idea from doing a search on the forum and seeing that other people had done it and it broke their stall... the same thing can be said for someone searching now and seeing my results from it as an example.

No more bickering about it, it just wastes too much valuable energy.

I Agree. I had no plan to bicker. I'm glad you won't be cheating anymore.

Down 1.4 back to where I was 2 days ago so that’s not bad. I can’t wait to get into 120’s that’s a whole new territory for me and it will be pretty cool seeing the body changes at that point (please inner thighs go away!!)

Jbcsa – hey your back on protocol and that’s what counts

Glitter – I can’t imagine a 5 day stall, how frustrating!! Grrr.. I’ll take .6 all day long!! Great job..

    Lynne – 2 lbs !! That’s awesome – keep on losing!
I am 5'4" 44 yo. Was stable at 123 last round, lost focus, back at 144.
R1 1/11 Started at 170lbs got to 140. Another round 9/12 got to 123. Goal is to get back in that area and hold under 130.

Im having a hard time getting over the phycilogical deal with the scale , i think i need therapy. ive been staring at this same number for 7 days then. I did add the pound difference of the scales to my starting wieght i dont know if that was the right way to do it or not for my ticker. I just know the scale problem and the stall are driving me insane.........

Take a deep breath and let it out. I think your scale was off all along due to bad batteries, so try to adjust your starting weight, recalculate it all, and move on. You are still down 20.6 lbs no matter how you slice it. Don't let the stress derail you! Keep going strong! Good luck!

Danielle, thanks! And it sounds like you are on track!
