Yay! I released more fat! I'm soooooooo close to hitting the 140's (where's the emoji for doing the happy dance??) Scale read 150.6 ='s 7 lbs released!! I'll take it with a big YAHOOIE!

I am on VLCD 5 and for the first time since I started phase 2 I didn't lose anything! In fact, I gained .2 --- Grrr. I know I'll be getting a monthly visitor later this week and I'm feeling a bit bloated but it still sucks to not see the number slide down!I stayed at exactly 500 calories yesterday and didn't cheat so it's got to just be one of those days.

I thought I had posted to this group but I don't see it. Oh well! I was told by grammy to skip a day of dosing & then lower my dose down to 125. I just felt hungry from 10ish until 5-6 o'clock & felt so weak. So today I skipped my dose. So far NO hunger (LOVE IT!)!! I have lost 9 in 9 days on just counting the VLC days. I am ok with that cuz I have NOT be diligent while being hungry.
This has been TOUGH for me cuz we are harvesting our 5000 acres of wheat & I am continuously making food for workers coming & going! uhhhh!!! But I HAVE to do this now so when I go back to school (I am a kitchen manager) I should be in P4 by then.
Has anyone tried the protein shake or Atkins protein bars as part of VLC days? As I have gone back to work, I have realized that sometimes I don't eat all day, and by the time I get hungry, I am shaking all over and famished. It would be good to have something small on hand besides an apple.

I myself would bring a piece of chicken or sugar free jerky. NOTHING with carbs made from flour but that is just my opinion.

I've been too busy to check-in. Today is D8 of VLCD and can't really complain. So far I'm averaging 0.8 losses per day. Could be better but am grateful.
Haven't tried Atkins shake, but my nutritionist (who is working w my dr and supervising my hcg journey), has me doing a protein shake plus whey powder as one of my meal proteins (this is usually my lunch protein since I am vegetarian so not doing any of the meat stuff). Between the two IMHO they take up a lot of my caloric load for the day and personally I would rather have a piece of fruit as a snack before I got to the point of being famished. But strictly from a vlcd and hug-friendly place they are nutritionist approved, fwiw.
Hi Everyone! Hope it's not too late to join for this month! My hcg arrived in the mail today and I am officially starting tomorrow morning! I am very excited. Have lost 20# so far since 5/31 using intermittent fasting, vlcd, and a 10 day detox. Hoping that this month will propel me further back towards regaining my health. I'm looking forward to this next leg of my journey and sharing in everyone's experiences.
Hi everyone! I have been successful using HCG in the past but unfortunately got off track and gained some weight back. My goal weight overall is 115lbs. I'm a CHF patient and the more I stay within my weight range, the better I can manage my health. In addition in February I signed up for the marine corps marathon and am training for that as well. I read that I can keep running just up the calories to 1200 using the prescribed foods. I'm excited but nervous because I am afraid my willpower won't be strong or I won't make it through. I'm doing a 21 day round and am currently at 141lbs. I really hope it goes well and look forward to talking to you all.
So close....yet so far away from my goal weight. I have to keep fighting! I'm almost there!
Has anyone ever done a 3 day load? Just curious; I am considering it due to a mini vacation this weekend. I am currently not taking my drops while eating the VLCD (I'm on R1 P2). I have read some material that advised me to do a 3 day load, if my body had been used to eating clean and low fat/carb (obviously I have). Any advice? And if you have done a 3 day load, how did P2 work out for you? Thanks!
