August 2019 Loaders - Doing it for me

    Welcome August loaders!

This thread is for you. Strategize, plan, support each other, ask questions, share concerns or just chat...its up to you.

I'll be around to address concerns or questions, but you may also have the benefit of some veterans going through this with you and that's always really helpful. But even if the whole group are first-time HCG users, you'll draw strength from each other. The HCG diet can be a lonely thing, because most people don't understand it and may even discourage you. It helps to have people you can lean on who are going through this with you.

My best advice: read the original manu-script, Pounds & Inches, and take it one day at a time. You can do it!

Hop in whenever you are ready to start posting and good luck with your round!

My recent HCG round was with DietDoc. Our site owner has generously arranged for me to earn a small fee if you use my DietDoc or Nu Image Medical link to order your Hcg and supplies. Hello! I started my round a couple days ago and am on day 1 of VLCD. Would love to connect with others on this path. I am hoping for good success with this round and having a connection with others is helpful. Anyone else interested in connecting?

Hi Teagal! I loaded on the 9th and 10th and started VLCD1 on Sunday, so now on VLCD 3. I gained a few pounds over the summer, then went on a long family vacation and gained a few more. I actually took my supplies with me on vacation so I could load the last 2 days of my vacay. I would love to lose 15 lbs. I hope to do a short 3 week round, but will see where I am then and possibly add on a few more days if needed. How long of a round are you planning to do and what is your goal for loss?

Hey Leez! How are you doing? Sad to see hardly any activity on this forum anymore. I was hoping to connect with some August loaders.

Seems like a slow month for HCG'ers. Things will likely pick up in the fall though.

How are you doing in week 1?

I'm hanging in and treading water in lots of ways, but that's ok. Just working my way out of an elimination diet that my doctor wanted me to try. I can't say its helped anything, but I guess that in itself is at least some data. I don't know why they always think giving up coffee and a bunch of other enjoyable stuff is is going to fix all your problems. It just never works that way for me. I was hoping to get at least a few pound loss out of going coffee free, dairy-free, grain-free non-organic free and nightshade free, but it didn't happen. (I was already corn free, egg-free, sugar free, salmon/lamb/turkey free and a few other things) That would at least have made it seem more worth doing.

Ugh, Leez....given everything you’ve already given up, that elimination diet sounds terrible! Might as well be on P2, then at least you can enjoy your coffee and tomatoes .

My week 1 has been a little rough. Sometimes I think the more rounds I do, the harder each one gets. I mean they are easier from a eating/preparing food perspective, and I know what P2 recipes I like, but mentally, it seems tougher. I think partly it’s because I’m close to goal, so the scale just plays mind games with me every day. Good news is this is the first round I’ve had to do in a year. The 2 years previous, I had to to do 2 rounds per year (spring/fall). For the past 3 years, I’ve been able to keep my weight in check, and when I go beyond a certain point, I do a round to bring it back down. This diet has been such a helpful tool and I’m very thankful for it. I’ve never been able to maintain my goal weight though. I seem to bounce around 5-6 pounds, mostly averaging about 7 lbs above my ultimate goal weight (135). It’s constant work and still looking for the right maintenance plan. I was hoping to hear back from Grammy about the Always Hungry plan. She mentioned in her thread that she was trying that. I responded to her thread a few days ago but she doesn’t appear to be checking it regularly anymore. I read the book reviews which are good and am thinking about ordering it.

I would love to do a short round, but not sure it’s going to work out for me. I’ve already hit a stall and I suspect it will be slow going from here as it normally is when I reach this weight. Fingers crossed that losses will pick up again and stay steady.

Hi justgitterdone! I have quite a bit to lose. Iím doing a long round this time - 5 weeks and hope to lose 25 pounds. Iím in week 2 and this past weekend was tough. I had 5 - 16 yr old kids at the lake and had to cook and bake for them all weekend. I stayed the course until I made brownies. Couldnít say no. And I ate 1. Ok I really are 2. Ugh. But overall Iím doing ok. Down 13 so far. My biggest problem is in maintaining my losses. Sounds like youíve been successful. Any tips?

Am traveling for work the next couple days so I loaded my needles with hcg, put them in a small cooler bag and crossed my fingers as I went thru security. No problems. Yay! Now just have to manage food on the trip.

    Hi.

I've done multiple hhcg rounds and am about to do my first rx round. I started in 2012 and had great results. I definitely reshaped in some places like my neck and face, so yay for that. Over the years, I would be able to lose on a round, keep it off for maybe six months, and then the pounds would start to creep back up. I'd panic and start eating clean, do all the things, but couldn't keep the scale under control so I'd end up doing another round. Or in some cases, trying to but not making it. And it's time again. The scale just rolled over to 150 which is my freak out mark.

I'm currently waiting for the results of a hormone/cortisol saliva test. I have a long history of adrenal fatigue and have been looking for the right combo of supplements etc to deal with that but still don't have it under control. I am working with a compounding pharmacist and will follow whatever regimen she suggests as I think that the adrenal stuff is what gets me in trouble in p4. I got stress. Loads of it.

I went into two local places that offer an rx hcg program, one that offers a body composition ****ysis as part of their program. I think you can pay a fee and just have that done every week/month/whatever and will utilize that even if I end up ordering online and will keep that up even after hcg.

Soooooooooo. My big question for now is where to order from (online/NuImage or locally) and learning about the injection process after having done homeopathic. Even after several rounds of going up and down the same 20-30 lbs, I still have all my weight in my belly, and it's the hard visceral fat, not the soft squishy kind. I'm 52, 5'3" and weigh 150 lbs. My lowest was 128 and actually don't care what the scales say - I need to get the fat off my belly and hope that my switching to real rx hcg that will make a difference, and then staying plugged in here so that if/when the pounds start to creep back up in p4 I'll get some help to get that under control.

Do you have any feedback about losing that visceral fat on real hcg as opposed to homeopathic? Even at my lowest, my belly was still fat. Hard fat. I want to get it off and then figure out how to keep it off. My legs, butt, and boobs just can't afford to keep losing anything. I'm what you call skinny fat.

    thanks

We can help you with injection tips and such.

Interesting thought about hard fat vs. fluffy fat. According to the protocol, HCG first burns up the visceral fat--the stuff around your organs. That is the kind that makes us unhealthy. It supposedly keeps your good fat and preserves your muscle mass.

My experience is that it all the extra fat goes eventually as you lose down to your goal, but that the places that are problem areas are still there, just smaller and are the first to poof out again as soon as you start to regain. I imagine that is because you don't actually lose any fat cells, they just shrink. So, depressingly, they are always there ready to refill again. Unless you remove or kill them somehow with liposuction or sculpting.

I did find it really interesting (and cool!) that I didn't loose my chest with my weight loss. My band size got way smaller, but I am still in a DD. All my rounds were RX injection.

It will be interesting to see if using RX results in less boobage loss for you this time.

Hi Teagal! Wow, 5 16 year olds, I’m impressed! Whenever I’m tempted to cheat I just remind myself that it’s not worth it, stay the course, stay the course. This diet is not easy, and mentally, it’s super hard (especially when in a stall like I’m in now. It’s much easier when the scale is moving down!) I make sure I have my next meal/snack lined up at all times, especially if I’m out, traveling, or in a social situation. For me, It takes a lot of planning.

Welcome Zippity! I like ordering from Nuimage.

Just placed my order with Riverfront MD. I've not used the MIC or B-12 before either, but will be adding both this time. I'm hoping to JUST lose the belly fat. I have little body fat in other areas, maybe some from arms and legs, etc, but there is little pinchable fat on me anywhere anymore. I am open to having liposuction or cool sculpting once I get as much of the weight off as I can but probably can't afford to do it. My poor boobs just can't afford to lose much more but sadly, probably will. With previous rounds I went from a C to a B. I almost wouldn't mind the belly pooch if my boobs were bigger than my belly, but alas - not so. I'll be having regular body fat ****ysis done during and after this round, which I expect to be a long round. I ordered for 50 days with a minimum of a 20 lb loss expected - more would just be 'extra.' I'm not really concerned with the scale as much as I am the shape and how the clothes fit, because - clothes NEVER fit. I would love to wear a dress and not look pregnant! Haven't done that since before having babies.

Iím on day 14 and Iíve been on a stall since day 4. First 3 days were great. I lost my loading weight plus a pound or 2 I gained on vacation (I started this round right after vacation, actually loaded the last 2 days of vacation). So very, very frustrated! Here are my weights since day 4:

    Day 4- 145.2
    Day 5- 145.2
    Day 6- 143.4 (yay, I thought!)
    Day 7- 144.2
    Day 8- 144.6
    Day 9- 144.4
    Day 10- 145
    Day 11-144.2
    Day 12- 145
    Day 13- 144.6

This is driving me nuts and makes me want to just eat! Iíve never hit a stall so early in my round before but Iíve also never done a round so close to goal before. Iím 10 lbs away from goal right now. Was hoping this would be a short round but looks like Iím going to have to go longer.

    Any thoughts Leez?
