It is certainly unusual to hit a 10 day stall after only 3 days of VLC. But the 10 day stall itself is not unusual. Is 144-145 an old established set point by any chance? (Those can last 2 weeks. argh.)

How's your hunger and energy levels? Are you sleeping and eliminating well? Are you doing anything different this round than in previous ones?

145 may be an old set point. In looking back at last 3 rounds it seems I always stall around 143 or 145. I’ve been sleeping ok but been very tired, however, starting my round has coincided with school starting back so I’m still trying to get used to getting up earlier and the school schedule. My husband, who’s not doing the diet, has been very tired as well, so I’m not 100% certain I can attribute the tiredness to hcg. I do think I’ve been hungrier than usual though and obsessing about food more than usual. I did a skip day today and I was a little hungry early in the day, not too bad though. I had lunch at 2:00 and was very hungry after eating, then I started obsessing over eating something to the point my mouth started to water. I tried eating some fruit, then just completely broke down and went on a full on binge eating everything in sight. This is the first time I’ve ever cheated like this on a round. I have no idea if I need to increase or decrease my dose for tomorrow. I do IM injections .25.

Is you IM injection dose 125iu? That is the standard dose. The amount in the syringe doesn't tell us your dose, because that depends on how it was mixed.

If you are taking 125iu IM, it is very unusual to have to change dose. If this adjustment doesn't fix the problem, it might signal onset of immunity.

Being super hungry in the late afternoon on a skip day means you need more HCG, not less, so you would increase. Did you wait the appropriate time between rounds? I see you have listed that this is round 6.

Yes, I am doing 125iu. It’s been a year since I’ve done a round so my timing should be fine. One thing that is different is the syringes I’m using have a long point on the inside rubber plunger thing so it’s harder for me to make sure I’m pulling the right amount. I don’t know if this makes sense, it’s kind of hard to explain, but it could be causing my dose to be slightly off. I placed an order for more syringes from Allegro tonight and I know they have the regular flat plunger inside, but it will likely be a few days before I receive them. Do you think I should try to increase my dose tomorrow? In my past rounds I normally have to lower the 125iu dose slightly during the round.

A year should have been plenty of time. May I ask if you are doing IM because you had trouble finding your best dose previously? I'm not sure what that would mean, but I'm curious.

If you have been under-dosing because of the shape of the syringe plunger, then it makes sense that you might need more, just to get all the way up to 125iu. Yes, hungry late in the skip day means go up in dose.

However, it should be accurate if you are judging by the rubber ring that is closest to the solution regardless of what is jutting into it, as they should have allowed for that.

I’ve tried to upload a photo of the syringe. If you can see the long pointy part of the plunger, you can see that solution can get around the pointy part, which would displace part of the solution, so I’ve been unsure of how to get an accurate reading. I’ve been trying to pull where the solution comes just to the tip of the of the point, as that made sense to me, but sometimes the tip goes into the solution, so that would mean I’m Getting a little less. If you are supposed to pull with the point all the way in then I have been getting slightly more than I should. The more I look at the syringe, the more I'm thinking you are supposed to pull with the point fully submerged, and use the flat part of the rubber (top part of point) as your guide, so if this is the case I've been pulling more solution than I should each time. Does this make sense?

I started doing IM after my first round in hopes I wouldn’t have to mess around with dosing as much and it has worked very well for me up until now.

I woke up to a 2 lb loss this morning. I’m assuming would have been more without the cheat. Even with the 2 lb loss I’m only .8 less than I was a week ago Saturday, however, I’m VERY thankful I didn’t have a gain. I’m planning to drop the Melba, fruit and 1 T milk for next 3 days to try to mitigate damage from yesterday’s cheat.

Well, its not uploading the photo. When I hit upload, it looks like it’s doing it but it doesn’t load. The rubber plunger doesn’t just have a slight peak or mound, like normal syringes, it is long and pointy at the end. If you pm me your email I can send you the picture.

I was extremely hungry this morning so I had a Jay Robb protein shake right after my dose (I’ve done these on previous rounds and never had a problem). I’m not sure if it was the dose that kicked in, the shake, or both, but I felt SO much better after and was not hungry until around 2 which is when I eat lunch. My hunger was good after lunch, but I was hungry right after dinner. The hunger wasn’t as bad as yesterday though. I tried to increase my dose today. I’m not really sure how much I should increase. Also, I got to thinking, it’s possible my hcg is not fully potent. I got it from Nu Image but it expired 6 months ago. I didn’t keep the powder in the fridge or freezer, but it was in a cool closet never exposed to light.

If you increased a bit and things are better, it would seem you are on the right track. I don't need a picture, since you are changing syringes shortly anyway. But I still suggest going by the lowest rubber ring on the plunger to judge the dose amount.

As for your HCG being potent, it should still be potent a couple of years after the expiration date, and likely longer than that when properly stored, which is cool and out of the light.

When you say lowest rubber ring, do you mean the pointy part would be fully in the solution?

Yes. Unless you have an instruction to do otherwise from the manufacturer, the standard way to pull to the dose amount is to use the rubber ring nearest the substance you are measuring.

People get confused by syringes because there are often 2 or more of those rubber rings, so it is a question that comes up quite a bit, and that is the answer that manufacturers give.

Feeling a little hopeless right now. I’m experiencing more hunger than I know I should. I increased my dose yesterday and today. And those darn syringes! I think I’ve been pulling more all along, so is it possible I’m overdosed even though the skip day made it appear I was under dosed? Is it possible to have enough hcg built up that even a skip day doesn’t bring it down low enough? Do I need to wait 4 days before doing another skip day? Then again, I'm feeling afraid to do a skip day because of my last skip day disaster. I’m not sure what to do.

You have to be at the same dose for 4 days in a row for the results of the skip day to be accurate.

As to whether you are overdosed because of the syringes, I suppose it is possible. When do your new syringes arrive? Its really hard to make a course correction if we don't know for sure what dose you have been using.
