I don't eat much veggies or fruit during loading unless they are fried or in a pie. ^_^ I find that allowing a couple fun foods is psychologically satisfying while keeping the load gain reasonable.
My load I was super satisfying... I went to a steak shop I like last night and celebrated a happy new beginning! Today on RP2D1 has be great. No complaints. Not hungry but hit a super max on my weight leading up to it. Hopeful I can get those few pounds I gained back relatively fast but overall super excited!

Going with 26 gauge 1 1/4 inch IM injections at 125ui. Super painless and clean. Love these thin needles they do wonders for IM. Also using a 10 minute food timer with a 5 minute break timer!

Welcome Jesse! I haven’t tried IM injections yet, but will next round with my added MIC (no B12) injections. If I like them, I could switch it up, but all of my kits cam with subq needles. I do bruise super easily, so the finer the needle, the better I guess.

Your load day sounded SO good! I used to go to a buffet for mine, with steak and butterflied shrimp. The pandemic made that tradition end for now...

    Hi Leez,

Wanted to check in and talk about my P2. Technically a R1 as the last, and only, one I did before was about 7 years ago.

I had always used exercise for weight control and knew it would bite me in the rear someday. It did when I became sedentary due to a 2-year battle with my insurance company to get a hip replacement while in too much pain to move except when absolutely necessary. At the same time my thyroid took a dump so, between the two, I gained 30 lbs in 2 years.

Lived in yoga pants as the only thing that would fit me.

Anyway, did Intermountain pellets for 45 days (P2). I 'only' lost 15 lbs but they are solid ones, as I lost 5 lbs in June before starting HCG July 3 (first load day.)

    So I'm calling it a 20 lbs loss :-)

I would have lost more but I ate a little more than 500 calories, albeit in allowed foods, mostly extra protein. I was ok with that as I recently bought a house that had been long neglected inside and out and am doing a lot of heavy lifting, painting and yard work. The first week at 500 cal, I would get dizzy going up and down a ladder trimming tree branches. (Who knew buying a house was basically signing up to be a farm hand.) I'm also 66.

I knew about inflammatory water retention as a life-long gym rat but now I was able to track it more closely with my daily weigh-ins and weight log vis a vis what I had been doing the day before and how sore my muscles were. Constipation was also an annoyance because it would cause the scale to sit at the same number.

I'm now starting P3 and going to pay attention more than I did last time as I think that's where I went wrong re stablilizing.

I'm at the halfway point weight-wise but happy to stabilize here for a while before starting another round in 6 weeks.

Anyway, that's my story. Hope it encourages anyone just getting started on their first round.

My name is Miss Cast and I approve this message :-)

Hello everyone. I will be back to start a round mid-sept is the plan. I've done many rounds on injections with great success, losing 15 to 20 lbs on average and 30 lbs one round. Anyway, my thyroid has been crazy and my stomach condition all year, so now I'm getting it adjusted and want to lose the excess weight I gained from it. I usually gain 20 back yearly anyway and do a round to take it off (love health problems!). Anyway, hcg may have actually made my thyroid work better, because now I am lowering my meds. I plan a trip for a week or more, then it will be my Bday, a perfect time to start. I actually want to try the drops or pellets this time and if I do not have success, I will just call my Natpath doc and get the injections.

    -80 pounds!

I keep gaining 20 to 25 of it back, I take off 5 pounds myself and then I do a round and lose 20 lbs. So I have done a total of 7 rounds. I am on my 8th round, taking the SAME 20 lbs off. ugh. But at least I don't gain 80 back!

I remember you, cupcake. Best of luck as you get back on track. What you are experiencing with better thyroid performance is what we all hope for from this hormone regulating protocol, along with better weight control. Happy for you!

It is also not unusual to need to reduce thyroid meds while in P2, as thyroid function can be heightened while on HCG. The boost will usually last through P3, but you can then move back up to your normal dose once the HCG is out of your system.

If you end up with pellets and have to make a dose adjustment, we have found that it works to dissolve the pellets and dispense your dose with an oral syringe.

Thank you. I think my thyroid has been lowish for about a year maybe year and half and I usually like it a bit low, but didn't pay attention to it dipping too low (and I lost my 80 lbs in 4 rounds 2015, 2016) I have never reduced my medications which I probably should have sigh. Between covid, my stomach condition and this thyroid crud, I'm sad to do my diet yet again lol. Maintainaince I must figure this one out!!!!

How do you do the oral syringe? I am not familiar with the pellets or drops, just thought I'd try, after all they are inexpensive, my friends have had success on them. I've done all my 9 rounds with injections, tried and true way for me. The worst month I had was 14 or 15 lbs. The best 30, lol but average is 17 in 26 days. I figured if they do not work well, then I'd just call my Npath and order my usual injections. I'm finally feeling better by reducing my thyroid meds, big changes in digestion/fatigue/energy/bloat.

You dissolve RX pellets in distilled water and dose twice a day sublingually, just like you would with RX drops.

You can try it if you find the RX pellet dose is not right for you.

You can read up on how to dilute RX pellets for oral dispensing here, where we worked it out for roselanou when she was having trouble with adjusting her dose.

Homeopathic pellets are a different animal. I think Intermountain has a pellets option for their homeopathic hhcg. Maybe someone that has used them can speak to the question.

    Hello! Hello!

I can't believe I'm here at the end of a round.

I must say it turned out to be a pretty good round. It started off a little shaky, but once I got my dose dialed and in and my water intake up it was pretty much smooth sailing. I did discover that my body hates xylitol! I had some one day and my weight shot up 3lbs the next day! Needless to say, I won't be having it again... ever

I had a goal of 20lbs this round and I reached that yesterday. So, I decided to make today my last injection day so I didn't have to mix another vial and have to waste it.

    Soooo... now moving into P3.

So, is my first day of P3 Sunday? This always confused me!

I'll be re-reading all the P3 info. So many differing opinions about what to do!

    Thanks for your help!

Congrats on completing your round successfully. P3 starts 72 hours after your last injection.

So If your last injection was 9am today (Thursday), P3 starts at 9:01am on Sunday. Its always confusing when you think about it in days, but perfectly clear when you figure by hours.

My best P3 advice: Enjoy your P3 and don't try to overthink it. Its a time to celebrate nutritious fresh, whole foods and learn your satisfaction levels. Don't let yourself stay hungry for long--you want to keep those metabolic fires burning. Deferring hunger and restricting calories are the most common reasons people get into trouble in P3.
