    Karen, I agree with Strong to end your round now. I hope your hair loss stops but don’t be surprised if it continues sometimes I think it just has to run its course. This was my experience both times it happened to me, once doing a round of hcg and once doing another weight loss program. Maybe this won’t be the case for you though.

    Rose- that is awesome to have some extra cushion going into P3. I love it when that happens to me although it rarely does.

    I’ve had a rough past 2 days dealing with hunger issues. I’ve been working with Leez through PM’s to try to get back on track. Leez is a godsend. I am so grateful to have her guidance! I did a skip day yesterday and this morning lowered my dose. Praying that I have a good day today. Experiencing hunger on this diet is no joke! On a positive note, it hasn’t seemed to slow down losses. I had losses both days and this morning had a really good drop for day 13.

    Hope everyone else is doing well on P2!

    JGD, thank you!! Yes, I am leaning towards that. Just found out my best friend is cancer free so super thankful I am on P3 today so I can freely (at least P3 wise) celebrate with her! Glad you are working through your hunger issues and it hasn't had an affect on your losses!!

    Glad you are getting help figuring it out, JDG. Hunger on this protocol *is* awful indeed! Even more proof how well it works!

    I am on my last VLCD day and starting P3 tomorrow. It dawned on me how nice this summer round has been. I much prefer the foods (smoothy, cold meat, salad, etc) and I like not feeling cold. I will remember this if/when I need a correction round. The plan is to not get past 165 and to do a round if that happens. Don't hate me but I won't fight gaining a few pounds because I need to stay in this size range LOL Some of my pants are too big now (size 8-10/M) and buying a new wardrobe is not an option haha. So gaining muscle it is! Glutes here I come!

    I believe I will be starting round 5 after the holiday, September 5th. I know that I may have possible immunity, but I will do a short round and see what happens.
    My medications that I am taking for hypothyroidism is Cytomel, which I have stopped during this round per Dr. Simeonís protocol. I have also quit taking any vitamins and supplements.


    Jan 2021, Round 3, starting weight 208 lbs., last dosage weight 188 lbs.
    Jun 2021, Round 4, starting weight 198 lbs., last dosage weight 180 lbs.
    Sept 2021 Round 5, starting weight 180 lbs.,

    Why domyou think you may have immunity? Just curious I have done numerous rounds….spaced apart and have not developed immunity.

    First day p3. Was so excited i fried sone eggs in butter. Had strawberries too. It is past lunch and i am not really that hungry. Excited to eat but now that i can just so-so about it. Lol

    Second day P3 up one lb 146.0. Not really concerned. Ate a little over 800 cal yesterday. 200 cal from Almondbutter. Got very nauseated last night. Too much oil i guess. Took benadryl and went to sleep. I know first week adding food will cause fluctuation but manageable. We are on the highway headed to colorado. Ate a little protein and english cucumbers for breakfast and strawberries. Apples will be my daily fruit while i travel as they wont spoil. Thought i would be starving this week but usually takes a week to adjust to more food. Will check in maybe tomorrow

    Rose, please toss that benadryl - it has been shown to be associated with early onset dementia! Try 3 to 5 MG melatonin instead, 1/2 hour before bedtime.

    I dont use Benadryl often and not for sleep. This was recommended by my dr for nausea i had after eating almond butter mixed with unsweetened cocoa. Nope. Gonna keep my benadryl. Not using as sleep aid. Sleep comes to me naturally but thx for info. I am 78. So far mental health is good

    A word on melatonin. Most people take too much. They think because it usually comes in a 3mg bottle that 3mg is a good dose. And then try higher dose formulas if they don't get results. Studies have shown that especially in older people, even 1 mg can be too much. Sometimes .5 or .33 mg is the right dose. And sometimes the slow release form works better, even at the lower doses.

    Since melatonin is a hormone, and HCG is all about hormone regulation, its good to read up on any kind of hormone supplements so you know what is right for you before adding it to your regimen.
