    P3 day 3. Weighing in the same as yesterday so that is good. Eating well and loving it. I am hoping for some good reshaping though. I finally lost some stubborn fat on my upper arms but boy, they are YUGLY now. I mean, I'll live with them if I have to but please reshape!

    Hope everyone has a better day! Take some you time! You deserve it. I haven't had a pedicure all summer (I know, how did I even live??) but I may do it now to pamper myself and relax.

    I haven't found a solution for upper arm flab. Maybe wear compression sleeves while losing? That seems to work for me for other areas.

    Good Morning Angels,

    It has been an awfully tough week. Mom had another fall and work was already crazy. I am barely getting any sleep but today I realized I can't go on like this. I am saying no to everyone, threatening to cancel things and that is shutting everyone up ha ha.

    JustGitterDone Thank you for your book recommendations! I think I will definitely read those. Post Hcg I am fine for a while, then my old appetites come roaring back. So I am changing my tune. How is your hunger now? Yes Leez is the best. I have needed to adjust my dose and really that does the trick and then my losses are better.

    Phoebe: Yes there may be some POP things I need to stay away from. I don't usually gain in p2, just stall so this is unusual for me. Happy belated anniversary.

    Mrs. Strong: Yes to a summer or late spring round. I find I really enjoy being cold, especially during the hot months of summer and September here in So. Cal. Glad you are in P3. I know the arm re-shaping takes some time, about 2 weeks or so for me, but it will happen. I do my own pedicures. My trick is to moisturize my feet the day before, and right before, then use nail polish remover to get the lotion off the cuticles. If there is some Polish left on the cuticles, it comes off in the shower/bath the next morning... having daughters we all get together and do nails together--a habit I started young so I didn't have to pay for their mani/pedis haha

    Leez: How are you doing? How is your summer?

    Regarding Melatonin: Mom (she is 89) is on 1 mg melatonin. It is the dose that works for her. Anything more makes her feel hung over. AFM: I don't take it all the time, just when I need it, then I take 1/2 of the costco Natrol 5 mg. If I am having trouble falling asleep I take it an hour before bedtime. If I am having issues staying asleep I take it right before bed. Hope that helps.

    AFM:Wow am I dumb. I don't have anything to say about the next sentence. I was freezing blueberries yesterday (for Pies later) and I ATE SOME BLUEBERRIES! I know, I know, I didn't think it would be a big deal, I thought instead of my second fruit. but today I am UP 1 whole pound!!!!! I also did not get enough sleep so ugh ugh ugh. Today is P2 D 16. Leez do you think this is temporary????

    Checking in from Denver day 4 P3 146.2 Still under LIW . Was really hungry as i didnt eat well yesterday No food in hotel so went to IHop and ate tbone and two eggs and bacon and fruit. Lunch white cheddar cheese and grape tomatoes.
    Went grocery shopping as we will be here till Monday morning and have stove kitchen and decent size fridge so i will have more choices. Eating out tomorrow with Denver family and plan on fajitas and veggies.

    RK, sorry but I did not know you were still in P2. Hope you are not too upset about the gain with the blueberries. I found I will sometimes have upticks in p2, especially if I have a large loss one day. I know it is discouraging, but it is temporary, and hopefully will go down pretty quickly. Looks like you are pretty close to goal though, from your tickler, so hang in there, and I'm sure losses will start back again.

    AFM: I can't figure out exactly where I should post--I'm so used to posting on the other August thread, but maybe since on P2, I should post here. It's going on 5 o'clock on my first vlc day, and have to say I am begining to have hunger pangs for sure. Hoping once I eat dinner they will go away. First day's lunch I just had the protein shake and 4/5 strawberries in it, so only 200 calories so far, feeling hungry, for sure. Am going to pull out the George Forman grill here in a minute and grill some chicken and have a little wilted lettuce for a salad. Not much, should be well under calorie allotment, unless I decide to have an apple later, which I may do. First day or two are always an adjustment with such a reduced volume of food eaten, but I'm ok, mentally today. I can do this, I can do this, I can, I can, I can.........

    Hi RK, I actually always seem to have a few decent losses, then a couple days of minor gains. Always remember reading that was because your fat cells are filling up with water, just to be flushed out soon. I'm sure the scale will start to move in the right direction soon. And seems like we are neighbors!! I am also in Southern Calif. It is nice to not be a hot mess in this heat while on hcg. Yesterday I was freezing and my husband looked at me like there was something wrong with me. Thank you for the belated anniversary wishes!!

    Dubbles, i always post my P2 progress mostly here so when i have a question or dealing with an issue it is comforting to know that Leez will respond with helpful suggestions. I always struggle first cpl days with hunger but i always eat both fruits throughout the P2 And lots of steamed veggies…usually asparagus to fill me. And lots of water and occasionally afternoon cup of coffee to perk me up tho i usually am only a morning coffee. I know you will have a great round.

    Dubbles, hang in there. Keep telling yourself it gets easier after the first few days.

    I find the first day of P2 to be the most difficult mentally. Even without dealing with hunger. Its just such a big change from being able to eat freely.

    Hang in there, Dubs!!

    RK, to be honest, I like the pampering when someone else does it. Otherwise, I just cut nails short and moisturize and I call it good. I am so sorry your mom fell! Hope she feels OK now. Crazy on the blueberry gain! Hope it comes off soon though I think it is possibly more related to not sleeping well and being so busy than to blueberries...

    Day 5 P3 145.0 Still under LIW 2 lbs Went to grocery store after eating very large breakfast at ihop. So far have added nuts butter and white cheddar to diet. Bought bacon and eggs and chicken and veggies for rest of stay Tonight family dinner at the Hacienda mexican grill I will be eating fajitas and veggies Eating strawberries and mixed melon for fruits during day

    Thanks for encouragement everyone. I know you are all right, the first week is the most difficult mentally, actually first few days are the most difficult mentally. This morning my weigh in was not as impressive as I was hoping, down 1.6. Not like the usual 2 or 3 lbs normal load drop, but maybe it will be better tomorrow. We'll see. I did forget and use my normal facial lotions before bed. Frankly, may continue to use my normal lotions, even if it means slower losses. This round is really more of a vanity round anyway. I have a few pounds to lose, but I really want to reset again my cravings and mental discipline, which I fear has begun to slip slowly away.

    Everyone's food and fruits on P3 sounds delicious, but we have all learned, P2 is only temporary and good things and more options come after the limitations of P2. And once I get used to eating P2 again, I really don't mind so much. I did grill enough chicken last night to have for lunch today, and for dinner tonite, tho I may grill some fish for dinner to change it up some. Have some asparagus to grill for dinner too. Will have my 2 fruits today. They really help, especially in the afternoon, that apple comes in handy. I forgot about it yesterday afternoon, so was really hungry at 5:00, and had it as after dinner dessert with cinnamon and stevia. Hope everyone has a great day! Can you believe it, almost September?!
