Good Monday Morning Everyone, still early and a lot haven't checked in. So, Ill be quick, have several errands and plan to do them early in the day and be done with them. This past weekend was a mess for my protocol. Saturday was really just the one beer off protocol, resulting in the .2 uptick on Sunday morning--then Sunday hubbs played in a golf tournament with another guy in his band , and another good friend of ours, and of course got the dreaded text --meet us at restaurant for dinner afterwards. I caved and met everyone, there were about 25-30 of us, eating Mexican. I had one drink and ate Fajitas, no bread part, just the steak and veggie part with a teeny part of the sour cream. After I told my husband, don't do this to me again for another two weeks, let me finish this short round strong, please! I lay in bed dreading to weigh this morning, but I decided to go ahead and weigh . To my surprise, I dropped 1.8 this morning. Weighed in at 155.4 this morning. I didn't eat a lot, and it may not stick, but it did feel good. We'll see tomorrow morning for sure. So this is 4.6 from goal weight.(3.6 lb of virgin weight in past 6 days, and 10 lb counting load weight--that sounds impressive, huh) Haven't been this weight in a while. I'm happy, and that's my problem, I think that's why I'm not more resolute when asked to go out! I don't feel bad where I am right now, Losing these extra few lbs is more "vanity lbs" as we say.

Don't think the maintenance portion of the protocols can be over emphasized enough, tho. Think during P3 and during P4 , really there is where the magic of the program lay. We work hard to lose lbs , mostly during p2, but the self control and restrictions, guidelines we focus on during P3 and P4, those are are really the key to long term weight control and fitness we all hope to achieve. These have been the biggest lessons I have learned this year, and I somehow missed in 2010, 2011, I don't remember focusing on all that in the past, and what a shame. I hope I never forget them. I know the cravings and mental issues of eating and feelings of why do I have to constantly deny myself can slowly creep in, and those I will have to always fight, anyone else feel that sometimes? I know I feel better thinner, My knees feel better, I look better, and it is healthier with less sugar in my life. And balance and moderation is good in all things. But I know, too, I will always have to fight certain cravings, and there will always be certain foods that I will need to avoid or severely limit. And the maintenance phases of hcg, help us to adjust those cravings, and reset, I think. It's a pretty essential period of program. Just thinking to myself. Sorry. Hope everyone has a good morning.

Yes Dubbs! I SOOOO struggle with the cravings and mental part of eating in P3/p4, so yes, I know what you mean! Congrats on getting a loss even though your weekend didn’t go as planned.

JGD, I hope your stall broke!

Looks like you are doing great despite the weekend, Dubbles! Don’t take it as a green light to cheat though! Get back and keep going. It will help to stabilize to do this right so think long term. You started, so now finish!

Rose, I hope it’s a great tour! Really enjoyed looking at your website! Love the colors. A lot seems almost French-inspired to me. Is that so?

See you all in the Sept. thread! I only saw one and I actually wouldn't mind just one LOL You all keeping two threads so vibrant makes it hard to follow you!
