Me checking in again... I'm on VLCD day 9. I weighed in yesterday @ 197.2 lbs, which is down 2.8 lbs from prev weigh-in, and down 16.3 lbs from loading weight! This diet works!

I've been managing hunger pretty easily, except the last two days I've been getting a bit of hunger feelings/thoughts at the end of the day. I took 2 extra hcg drops and that seems to help satiate the mild craving at the end of the day. Last night I had food/eating dreams... I think because I smelled a lot of good food yesterday when I was out and about. That's okay... smells are free on this diet.

Today I think I'm headed to Costco to renew my membership. Costco has some amazing and huge frozen tilapia filets. They also have big bags of asparagus which I can actually finish off pretty quickly on this diet. And let's not forget about the 24 packs of LaCroix sparkling water!

Anyone have a good fish recipe for VLCD Phase 2?

Nice losses so far! I like making a coating for my tilapia with crushed melba toast (2), dill, garlic powder, pepper and red pepper flakes. I cook it up and it's delish! And I put Cholula on everything...

December 2016 Loaders - the Christmas Crew

I had a 16 pound gain from loading! Wow! I never had that much of a jump. The most I ever had was 8 pounds. Fortunately, I've been urinating all night and today so it should be gone quickly.

That cake is way too sweet for me now, so I'm happy my tastes have changed.

I posted this in another thread, but since this is a loading thread, I'll add it here too. Apple cider vinegar (with the "mother" in it) and ginger help out a great deal with preventing nausea and digestion issues. My loading days are breeze now ever since I started doing that. No nausea and no bloated stomach or any other digestion issues. I highly recommend diluting it with water and drinking some before eating and some more after eating.
Hi newoutlook, I also started loading on Saturday. Day 1 for us today! I use apple cider vinegar in water before each meal in P2 but I never thought to use it for loading, what a great idea.

On Saturday had bacon and eggs and apple pie, then we went out to Red Robin where I had a bacon cheeseburger with mac and cheese as a side, and a salted caramel milkshake. 2000 calories right there lol. On Sunday I had a whole avocado, a whole container of full fat cottage cheese, sourdough toasts with butter and peanut butter, full fat yogurt, a box of Haagen Dasz bars, some whipped cream. I just felt so full it was tough to get more in. I have a bad dairy addiction I plan on breaking in the next 42 days.
P2D1 for me, weighed in at 171.8lbs (5'6"). Not my absolute non-pregnant highest, but not far. Determined to get to 150lbs this round.

I do the 800 calorie protocol (hcgdoctors.com). For breakfast 1 egg with 2 egg whites, and some yerba mate tea. Lunch today is grilled lean ground beef, with broccoli and a salad. Dinner is a soup with chicken breast, cabbage, onion and celery. I keep my fruits as snacks.

My current overseas hcg is almost out, the new is on the way though (should be here this week) so in-between I will be using the GFC drops many on here use and like. It will be interesting to see what happens as I've never intended or desired to use this kind of drops. Not sure I believe they will work the same (okay I know I don't believe they will, but we shall see!).

tattered Hope your changed diet has been working for you!

@rafe Costco is great but watch out for those damn food carts and the end of every isle.

AFM: I'm down 5 from my start weight and so far so good, I do have a plan cheat day on 12/10 for a Christmas party I'm going to. Hopefully I won't do too much damage but I do plan on drinks and probably a turkey like meal. Anyway I'm not really too concerned about it because my plan is to remain on HCG injections until I hit 100 or 105. Since my normal loss per day is 1/2 a pound a day I'm definitely going into January for the injections. I do have to admit though I wish I had waited until after all of the holidays because it feels a little defeating to be on the shot and then have a gain when you know you're going to cheat. I am thinking about getting off my injection on the 7th so I don't gain but I don't really see a point to that either since it's only one night. Oh well I'll carry on.

Newoutlook: Such a massive loading gain usually indicates something you ate during the load caused tremendous inflammation. Gluten sensitivity is a common cause, but it really could be anything. Its a good idea to write down everything on your loading menu. That may help you identify the root cause of your gain later. when you move into maintenance.

    Hi all

I'm new to the forum and I only recently discovered the HCG Diet and decided I want to give it a go. I have a doctors appointment this Friday so hopefully I'll be able to get my prescription then and start loading on Saturday 10th.

I'm really excited to see how it all goes. I'm currently about 163lbs at 5ft2 and I'd really love to get down to 140lbs in my first round.

Hey all, I am on day 9 p2... I had GREAT results the first 5 days, I'm talking 10 pounds! And then the weekend hit.... I thought I was making good choices while out with my friends, apparently not. Yesterday showed a gain of 2 pounds (after having a really good diet day yesterday) and another gain today of 1. I guess I'm wondering how to get back those amazing pounds I lost last week. Today I've had a chicken salad and already 2 L of water. Any advice helps! Thank you!

Good point. Thankfully, my eating habits have changed and I no longer eat most of what I had during loading. Cake, ice cream, excessive pasta (I didn't have problems with pasta in moderation before), white rice, white bread, white sugar, and other junk. I also went low carb last round. Only vegetables and protein, so that probably played a factor as well.

I'm 11 pounds down now. I have 5 more pounds of load weight to take off.

Reporting in on VLCD day 12! This morning I weighed in @ 194.9 lbs. That's down 1.4 lbs down from last weight, and down 18.6 lbs from my loading weight! So close to the 20 lbs mark!

Thanks y'all for the the thoughtful replies to prev posts. I have a good recipe for tilapia that I'm going to try, and I now know what VLCD means

Keep working it everyone! You're all kicking ***!
