    HELP!
Oh My I am UP 1.6 pounds!
LinderLou I am very excited about your loss! Great Job!
Yes, think about the sodium ascorbate treatment. It really changed my kids life.

Also today, my wedding ring does not even go on my finger because of swelling! I think from the pink salt and sea salt...
Also, I think I overdid the magnesium because I can't be far from the bathroom.....

The good news is that I don't feel as weak, but am not sure how to proceed today.
Leez, what is your advice about the water retention?
DO you think this will come off quickly? Like by tomorrow? Has this ever happened to you?
I think I should take that Potassium/Magnesium supplement later today...What do you think?

Yesterday I had a lot of salty foods:
    1.5 cups Kirkland Chicken broth
    Pickles
    .5 tsp sea salt
    .5 tsp Pink salt

    Thank you for your advice!
LinderLou great job, such wonderful news!

I am not editing my ticker today!!!!

OMGoodness RK! You found the exact weight I lost! I am so sorry! Your rings not fitting are a pretty sure sign it is water weight. Hoping Leez has some good advice for you. I'm surely no expert!

I am not editing my ticker or signature either until I get back down to the number it is showing now or lower!

rk, the rings being tight is water retention. I think you can cut back on the salt today. Maybe just do a 1/4 tsp pink salt and whatever you need to season food. Try not to add table salt to anything (or eat processed foods that contain it). Do take your magnesium supplement and back off the amount of Natural Calm.

Extra salt can cause some water to be held, so I'm sure that's what is behind your gain. The body eventually levels out. It could take a day or two.

250mg magnesium is a very low dose, but might be close to enough for you. It sometime takes playing around with it for a while to adjust mag and vit C levels until you get to your happy elimination place.

Linderlou, glad the scale finally moved for you.

    Thanks Leez!

I appreciate your help. The good news is I am (as usual on hHCG) not hungry, so it will be easy to stick to the plan. Do you think that I should try for some extra water?

LinderLou, hope you and I both lose and stop swapping that 1.6 pounds!

    Have a great day!

Me too! It would only be right that since we've both lost it twice, it should be gone forever!

    Good Morning,

Leez, you were right, it will take a few days to be down to where I was. Glad you told me that so I did not expect a big woosh today--ok, I did hope for one, but at least my hopes were tempered by reality ha ha! Today I am down .6, so still up .6 from where I was. The good news is I feel so much better energy wise. Also, I am wearing my skinny clothes and things are not tight. Funny story, I had to really dig to find clothes that did not hang on me for this trip. Today I start my PI transition, so P2 eating with no hHCG pellets. I was hungry this morning which is unusual for me on the first day, but had some P2 foods and feel able to last through the day's challenges.

LinderLou hang in there! I know things are going to start moving for you!

Glad to hear the edema is starting to abate.

Paradoxically, water does act as a diuretic. You can give it a try. As long as your urine has even a faint yellow color, you are not overdoing the water. It if becomes clear, cut back.

RK - I am hanging in there, but same weight today. I guess I can't expect leaps and bounds EVERY day!

Looking at my chart, I am actually down from two weeks ago and down a full two pounds from last Saturday, so something is moving here. I will just practice being patient and be grateful that the scale is still on a downward trajectory.

Wishing you luck on your PI. Travelling out of the country has it's whole own set of challenges.

OK, so I'm talking to myself, but posting helps keep me accountable. P2D26 and DOWN this morning 0.5 and back to where I started two weeks ago at my lowest weight this round. I updated my signature and my ticker is now correct. 14 more days to go!

Great news that you are about to enter new territory. I know its been challenging, but maybe this will give a bit of perspective. Its not unusual to have a 10 day stall in the middle of a round, even 2 weeks, so even though you had some time off plan, its kind of working out the same way as if you just had a long stall.

Here's to steady losses to keep you motivated in the home stretch.

Thanks Leez. You are always so supportive! I just can't help thinking "what if" I had just continued on. Yes, I've had stalls, but usually around day 20 or so, which then leads into P3, which helps me stabilize. Thankfully, I had planned this to be a longer round so I should have time to recover. I also had a chat the other day with our friend who caused the PI in the first place. I explained that I was on a very specific diet at the moment and can only eat certain foods. I told her I'm happy to bring my own food if she is planning to cook something I can't eat. She was very receptive, so I don't have the pressure of being in that situation again ever.

Quick check-in. UP 0.5 today... Bummer, but I know it's only water and probably because I didn't drink enough water yesterday. The thing I find hard about doing this protocol in cold weather is that I'm not naturally thirsty when it's cold and it's harder to get all my water in.
