    Hi Rose...
great to see you back... reminding us that once P4 ends it does not all end there....
Its funny how even though we loose the weight.... it is always there... waiting for us to fall back into bad habits
It is not about weight but about being happy with our Healthy choices I guess

I think you all know by now steak days don't work for me. But I did try a couple of things in the last few weeks whenever I'd gone over the LDW limit, and have had success with the following:

I did a steak with tomato for breakfast at about 10AM. Then I ate nothing else for the rest of the day, but drank water and coffee for the rest of the day - I called it my reverse steak day. I dropped 1.2 lbs. which got me back within the limit and it stuck. Normally I lose only .2 or may even go up .8 - 1 lb on a regular steak day!

Just this week, I went over by exactly 1 lb. when I had some "questionable chicken". I was so tied of meat anyway, that I decided the next day to do a "fruit day" I found a grapefruit in the back of the fridge drawer. It was still nice and juicy, so I had it for breakfast. At dinner Tim, I had two Jay Robb Whey Protein Shakes w/frozen peaches, and HWC added. I lost that bad 1 lb the next day.

Hiya ladies. Iím popping on because I faced my fears today and was shocked that Iím actually within range. I thought I had blown it as I am well onto P4 but I was 156.4 and my LDW on 9/17 was 153.8.

I have been eating more sugar lately and itís a slippery slope because it just makes me want more and more. I am toying with the idea of a quick round in January and just need to order my supplies.

We are completely locked down here as far as gyms and restaurants go so I had to stop pilates which is my passion. I have a spin bike and do 45 minute classes daily which saves my bacon. The boyfriend snacks all the time and he will bring home cheesecake and I cave!!

I am going to go catch up on your progress and hope everyone is staying healthy and positive December 2020 Loaders - Xmas Preppers

By dinner on the second day of loading I couldnít even finish my salad I was so full. After the first VLCD, I only lost one pound (unusual for meI thought about it, and I realized a few things. I was still adjusting to higher carbs, I ate miracle noodles which can disguise a loss for me for a day or so, I didnít drink enough water, and I went horseback riding for the first time in a week and my muscles were really sore. I was also hungry and weak. I had started loading on 150 iu. So on VLCD2, I dropped to 125, added electrolytes, went riding again, and drank a ton of water. All food OP. Woke up to a 2.5 loss. Nice! But on VLCD3, I had a minor outpatient surgery planned (eyelids). I knew Iíd be inflamed so I wasnít going to pay much attention to my weight for the next day or so. However, the doc needed me to eat breakfast that morning. Iíve used Fage in the past, so I decided to do an Alternative day. I had five Fage 0% with blueberries spread through the day. Woke up to puffy eyelids but a 3 pound loss. Wow. Iíll take it. Back to OP today but good to have that in my back pocket. Sorry for the long post! But so happy to be back.

Did you notice hair loss on keto? My hair is falling out in scary amounts and I do add in biotin and vitamins. I hate washing my hair because so much falls out. Just curious since six months of keto is a long time!

Great check in, starbucks! Isn't that a great relief to get on the scale after a long time and not see something horrifying? ^_^

I find the slippery slope for me is not eating often enough. If I get into that mode, I start overeating when I do eat again, and because I have a slow digestion, that sets me up for creeping weight gain. So my particular challenge is to be consistent in eating breakfast, and then not waiting too long between other meals. That, and staying away from sugar and processed foods keeps me craving-free.

On the hair loss thing, have you had your thyroid levels evaluated? Its a common side-effect of low thyroid.

I have been keto for 7 years and did not have this problem but I do think we need more protein than RDA. That is when mine stopped falling out. Did fine till Covid hit.
I don't plan on going back to keto if I can maintain my weight with some added carbs. So far so good!

I had my blood work done two months ago and the only thing elevated was my cholesterol December 2020 Loaders - Xmas Preppers but I think that is because I was in P3. I donít think I eat enough. Iíll start logging my food to see if I can get it dialed in. I am sure my protein is lower than average and have read that too so I might start with shakes in the mornings to kill two birds with one stone. I have Arbonne vanilla shakes I can use up

And Leez, yes, the sense of relief was palpable. December 2020 Loaders - Xmas Preppers

This is exactly what happens to me Leez! Going to try and be very cognizent of it this upcoming P3/P4.

So, I havent been on here much, just going through the rounds. I loaded for R3 on Nov 15/16 and today 12/13 was LIW of 172.8 (30 shot round). That was the roughest 3 rounds in my history of HCG. My body did NOT want to let me past the 180's. It literally took me 3 rounds and 7 months to lose 31 pounds. For comparison, last time i did 3 rounds I lost 54 pounds. You can see my signature block for the struggle. My goal now that I finally am past the 180's is to maintain until R4 in March. P3 I stabilized in all my rounds. P4 is my culprit for weight gain. I'm so happy that I will be P3 through the New Year to keep me focused in my diet. I keep telling myself I can make & eat all the Christmas foods all year round. So far that mindset has helped. Very much looking forward to eggs and bacon on Wednesday!

Yes, we all have to find a way to stay conscious in P4. I only had one P4 that I was able to stay within my LIW. That was the round that I did FMD for 5 months. The first month I did it as written (without coffee and dairy--super hard for me) but the other 4 months I added those back in successfully. The discipline of the FMD (fast metabolism diet, Haley Pomroy) taught me that I can be satisfied within a certain discipline. Huge revelation for me.

I mostly follow THM (trim healthy mama) now, and its working for me. Unless....I get sloppy with meal timing.

Hi! I lose hair whenever I make a drastic change in my diet. I asked my doc about it because I thought it was from over restricting calories (not while on HCG) and she said itís normal. Keto wasnít as bad for me as vegan, which I also did for six months prior. I was in rough shape after that. Had some vitamin deficiencies that I had to treat. I keep a little dustbuster vacuum in my closet so I can keep up with the hair on my bathroom floor. It was a marriage-saving device December 2020 Loaders - Xmas Preppers

Just checking in on day 14 of P2! Things are going smoothly. Injections are so much easier than drops wow. Iím down 12.5 pounds and I feel great.
Iím pretty boring with my food while dieting. I try to keep it simple. But my one treat especially in the winter is chopping up my apple and cooking it with cinnamon and stevia. Itís dessert every single day!
    Have a great week everyone!
