    Have a massage during P2?

Hello All! Hope you're having a great week so far. I do hope it's okay to pose a question on this forum to gather input.....My question is about the effect of massages during P2? Not knowing the composition of the massage oils and if they would contain absorable fats. Thank you in advance for your expertise and input. Have a great day!

For oil, you can request mineral oil or baby oil if you like that scent.

But the problem with massage in P2 is not just the oil. It is also the massage itself and the effect it has on the subcutaneous fat layer. In the protocol, it is explained that strong pummeling is actually detrimental to fat loss during P2.

I would take that to mean that a gentle stroking-type massage with the appropriate non-absorptive oil would be ok. However, deep tissue or pounding massages should be avoided.

December 2020 Loaders - Xmas Preppers

Hi everyone, VLVD 29 over here. Still losing-Iím at 17 lbs lost this morning. My goal is 5-7 more. I have about two weeks left of HCG injections so Iíll see where things end up. My question is, for those of you whoíve successfully completed P3, how did you approach raising/increasing your calories? Iíve read P&I so I know whatís in there. I went through P3 years ago after drops rather haphazardly. I see some people advocating gradual increases (after the transition days) while others say go in fast so your metabolism doesnít lose momentum. Any other advice? Almost there! Thank you.

P3 is a great time to tune into your body's hunger and satisfaction signals. Because P2 is an elimination diet of sorts, you will be free of cravings and food inflammation issues that confuse those signals.

In my experience, I've found it best to eat whenever hungry, and stop when satisfied in P3. That means I usually end up eating about 4 times a day. In the first few days, when capacity is low, I try to concentrate on healthy fats to get and keep calories up. After that, I don't force fats, but do use them in reasonable amounts the rest of the P3.'

If you have difficulty recognizing those signals, this post may help you with that:

Does anyone have any guidance on when to be finished losing weight? Iím having trouble figuring out where my goal should be. Iím on VLCD 30. I could do another 10 days (I have enough injections left). Iíve lost 17 pounds. I was at the high end of ďnormal weightĒ when I started. Now Iím right in the middle. I keep debating continuing for the last five pounds. Just curious how those of you close to goal decide to be ďdone.Ē

Once you make it to dose day 30, you can stop anytime and it won't matter to your stabilization success. So its really about how you feel, and when you are mentally "done".

As for deciding on goal, I would go by a favorite piece of clothing from a time when you felt you were at a good weight for you. If the item fits comfortably, then you are probably pretty close to your best weight. It will likely be more than the time you are remembering. Because of the way HCG works to change your body fat percentage, you will often wear a smaller size at a higher weight than before.

For instance, my happy weight in my early adulthood was around 120. Now, I feel like I look about the same as then at 135-140.

Well, I went a few more days and I regret it as I had a few cheats with coconut oil the last few days of the round. So, I closed out at 152.6, gained one pound (the oil) during my transition days. Today is P3 day 2 and I was up another 2 to 155.8. Grrr. So, steak day today. The funny thing is that yesterday (day 1) I counted calories just to see where I was at and I think it really threw me off. I was so intent on hitting those macros that I ignored the fact that I was hungry all day. I only ate about 50 grams of fat but a lot of protein (150). Between that, a hard workout the day prior, and raw broccoli (my tummy is not happy), I think thereís my gain. Oh well. Hopefully it works. Right now Iím just working at my computer drinking tea and listening to my growling stomach. I think Iíll try not to count calories the next few days.

Am confused If you are doing p3 why are you cointing calories? Just increase food in take within parameters... fats, proteins , non starchy veggies and fruit And keep ur water at half body weight. First week is hard to get a lot of calories Eat more food as p3 progresses I always loved my P3 But avoided cheese and nuts while i stabilized Important to eat veggies and some fruit.
I do not recommend focusing on keto eating as veggies are so helpful and moderate fruit helps sweet cravings

I have a long history of food tracking. I agree itís not helpful on P3. I wonít be doing it tomorrow. It was ďhelpfulĒ (yet not!) yesterday in that my natural urge is to ignore my hunger and eat mostly protein and I documented that so I will be sure to use more fats moving forward.

I am in P4 and i do keep track of what and how much i am eating so i can do more mindful eating. On P4 i have one day i do not keep track of anything butmjust enjoy variety and not stuff but nclude starches and sweets if i want. Even if it is a bite of something i write it down. In P3 i just follow protocol aand eatto hunger. Some days might be more and aome might be less.

Well, my steak day was a success and Iím down 4 pounds, putting me at LIW -1. Iíve decided to keep a food and weight journal with no calorie counting. I made a little excel spreadsheet so I can see how different foods affect me and make comments about how I feel. I had a great breakfast this morning - Iím a little fuller than I expected. So Iíll keep up the eating and hope I donít get too much rebound! I get nervous about adding things in too fast. The old eating issue me starts to over analyze to the point where I canít eat December 2020 Loaders - Xmas Preppers so, trying not to over think. Have a great day everyone!
