This is VLCD 6 and, as of this morning, I've lost 10.5. I was really surprised to see a 2-pound loss today considering I usually bloat and swell this time of the month. I had hoped to hold steady, so the two pounds was a nice surprise. Most things about this diet are a nice surprise!

    Have a great day everyone!
    Blessings,
    Nicole

I really hope so! I have okay self control at home, it seems when I'm out is when I struggle and just give up because I messed up once. I've decided to hermit myself as much as possible, even though it's incredibly hard for me. I gained 4 lbs for loading and after my vlcd 1, I'm down 4.8- today has been good so far! Here is hoping I can keep it up. I think these boards really help, I've never done them.

Actually I did HCG in 2008 and lost 50 lbs with it. I kept it off for 5 years but unfortunate 2012 was a devastating year and I lost sight of my health goals and now I'm worse off than ever. It's very discouraging to have to lose weight that I fought hard to lose before, but I know it can be done from the above-stated past experience. That overwhelming feeling of guilt and the ever-present question of "WHY in the world did I allow myself to do this!?" gets hard to bear. It can be overwhelming to me, at times, but I have to move forward with my weight loss or else I will just get bigger. That isn't an option.

Thanks for checking up on me. I will try to keep my progress updated as time allows. Good luck to you all.

Today is the day... Day 1 r 3. Round 2 was very slow.. I feel like it was a way for my body to stabilize. I gave myself a bit more time between.. Added a bit to what my lowest was.. but I know I was not following plan. Back to focus. I was sooo fearful I had gain lots... but thankfully was only 5 lbs total. sooo dang grateful.
    NOW... Back to it.
I just mixed and injected... two days of .. wow... so better get my christmas cookies done tomorrow.. hahah..
Ritzy.. we are close in goal... lets team up... I could always use a buddy... for the good and the bad...

That's great! I had to do that my first round. I just didn't plan much and went to bed early. When I got snacky, I read old threads on this site. Then each morning, when you see a loss, it's so motivating.

    Cheering you on!
    Blessings,
    Nicole

I'm very sorry to hear about your rough 2012. I understand what you mean about the guilt, but maybe it's time to celebrate who you are today and that you're shaking it off and taking care of yourself. It's strong and it's healthy and it's not easy...so no more guilt.
    Blessings,

Congrats and welcome! Let us know how your load-baking goes...or maybe you'd better not. Ha ha! Have fun today and tomorrow, though.

Today is my load day 3. Looking forward to the support of all of you this month of December, probably the most tempting month of the year! But I am determined and excited about being a smaller size or two by Christmas!

    Day 1 152 lbs.

I'm in! I loaded on Thanksgiving and black friday, so i am Vlcd 7. I' m down 3.2 pounds from my pre-loading weight. I have quite a bit of weight to loose, close to 100 pounds. I had a successful (but too long round) in 2014 and got to my lowest weight and size! in years. I have had quite a few retrys and am finally ready to commit. I will weigh 1-2 times a week, as i can get obsessed mon/Thurs. Great week writermoma! Good luck to all.
    Start weight..244.8
Vlcd 7...241.6 ( too rogue? Done with that. and didn't track weight gain from loading)

Well that makes 2 of us, because I could sure use a buddy as well. Especially in December! Please do keep us in the loop on how you are doing, and I will try to do the same in my crazy schedule. I sure do wish us all a very successful weight loss in December!!

Welcome, Tina! We loaded on the same days. You're off to a great start! I hear you about the scale obsession. For me, though, I am treating this like a chemistry experiment and the scale tells me my findings. Knowing how many food sensitivities I have and how I need to watch that long term, I'll probably weigh daily forever as a way to monitor that.

Keep up the great work. I'm excited for you.
    Blessings,
    Nicole
