Dosage? I was feeling great what happened????

Hi Leez, first time posting to you but not first time following your advice thank you for everything.....

This is my fourth round of HCG. IT's worked well for me in the past in terms of losses. I am POP only and have not cheated at all as I do truly believe in the positive reset of the bodies endocrine system and balance it brings to the body.

This round was eye-opening. For the first time, the first two weeks, I truly felt no hunger! I don't know ifthe past three times I didn't have good HCG despite being from Dr. Office and NuImage or I could never figure out the dose despite trying. BUT Now, the past three days it has changed.....and I am desperate to get back to the feeling of no hunger.

I am 145 today, and as I drop more weight getting closer to my goal weight (137) my body is feeling malnourished and I have a lot of cravings. I feel starving and weak at all times of the day. I'm trying to undertand what I should do with my dose but cannot pinpoint if it is too much or too little since my hunger hits me at all times of the day. Any experience in going down on dosage after loosing weight??? I know I still have abnormal fat! Stomach, arms, legs - it is still there

In terms of weakness, my legs aren't heavy but just week - feeling shaky. Even my arms. Last night I felt light headed - all the sudden it seems my blood pressure dropped and my whole body felt really uncomfortable. I did just buy magnesium and potassium so maybe that will help. Any guidance on how much to take of each???? (I use pink himalyan salt for cooking).

I'm only on day 18 and planning to do 28 days at least.

What you do when you suddenly have strong hunger during your round is to do a skip day. Usually the problem is that you need to change your dose, but other possibilities are that your HCG has weakened, or you have hit immunity. But the dose issue is the most likely. You can eliminate one of the others by testing a full dose on a pregnancy strip. Any positive means your HCG is ok. It is possible for HCG to weaken after a couple of weeks, but not likely.

Cravings are also an indicator that your dose is off. If those are unbearable, an 1/8-1/4 tsp glutamine powder under the tongue can help calm those down.

The skip day allows you to see which direction you need to adjust.

Pay attention to your hunger late afternoon to early evening (assuming you inject in the morning). If hunger lessens or disappears, you should lower your dose. If it increases, you should raise your dose.

Do take 1/4 tsp sea salt or mineral salt in your water a couple times today and take the recommended doses on the potassium magnesium supplements. That should deal with your shakiness and weakness.

Its important to get your dose adjusted correctly as soon as possible so that you don't lose muscle and the wrong kind of fat. That can hurt your metabolism. And, you want to be in the non-hunger state. For me, its almost a euphoria--so yeah--you want to get back there.

Does the hunger go away when you eat? What dose are you on currently?

    Hi Leez,

Thanks so much for the reply. Your coaching is invaluble to the masses here!

I did test the HCG and there is a faint pink line on the pregnancy test. I was concerned as I did leave it out of the fridge for about 4 hours one day - so glad we can rule that out.

To clarify, I want to track my hunger pains on the day I do not do an injection as that will tell me if too much, I will feel fine, in the morning. If not enough, I will be ravenous.
I think i misunderstood this to track my hunger while doing the injection.

I already feel a bit better after doing the potasium and magnesium. I just took as recommended. The potasium dose on my vitamin is only 2% of the daily requirement - do you think that is enough?

As for the salt, I am very liberal with salt on my food, I guess given my symptoms I should even do more? Or is himalyan not recommended as a mineral salt?

    Thank you again!

Sea salt is best for that, but himalayan should work fine. I like celtic gray salt.

On the skip day, hunger levels do not matter until you get to about 4pm. Ignore everything before that. Its not relevant.

Potassium supplements are usually 99mg. That is about the right dose. You need more than that in a day, but you get a lot from food that kind of trickles in throughout the day. the 99mg will give a boost.

Glad you are feeling better. You might try splitting up your meals into 4 instead of 2. Maybe have your fruits in between instead of with your meals. Maybe divide your protein in 4 portions. Whatever appeals to you. It may help keep your blood sugar levels more even.

    Hi Leez,

Thank you I will look for the salt!

Just to be sure i understand....if after 4pm I am not hungry or just a little dose is too high and I need to lower it. If I am very hungry after 4pm and into the night dose is too low.

If dose too high or too low how much should I increase to make the difference?

    Thank you!

    Correct.

Do you know what your dose is?

Generally, you would raise or lower by 25iu, but if your current dose is extremely high or low, that number could be different. Or you might even have to skip 2 days. All depends on current dose.

    Hi Leez,

My dose was between 14/15 measurement (the normal diabetic needles, not sure of the measurement unit). I skipped today and tonight I was not hungry.

So tomorrow with my needles, should i go down to 13 or 12? If it helps, the last time i did HCG was last february for 28 days.

    Thank you again!!

    Glad you are experiencing relief.

What is your dose in IU's?

The number on your syringe alone doesn't tell us your dose.

I suspect your mixture was 5000iu mixed with 5ml bacteriostatic water. Is that correct?
If so that means you were taking 140-150iu of HCG.

If so, you would drop down to 12.5 on your syringe to put you in the 125iu range.
