I'm hoping to get as close to 40lb as I can! My goal for this round is 32. I'm in awe of Rusty's success!

The gourmet cookbook is a LIFESAVER. I just got home an hour ago, put my chilli on the stove and it's almost ready. Very easy peasy meat, beef broth (no added salt, fat free), tomatoes and my new chili 9000 spice that I got from Penzey's spices (yum!). I added a tablespoon of tomato paste from trader joes that I bought yesterday (1 tube = $0.99). I feel so proud. If this chilli turns out well. I'm making chilli for lunch and dinner tomorrow (I'm working late) later on tonight.

I have been avoiding beef because it wasn't lean enough. With this diet, I discovered that 96/4 ground beef is available and affordable! I'm so grateful I found this forum and diet. Who doesn't like fast, healthy meals?!

    Fast and healthy is right.

I did have venison strips w/ bell peppers for dinner last night and I made enough for today. Felt like fajitas both times.

I put on some jeans today. Haven't worn them in 6 months or more. Today people at work were noticing weight loss and asking questions. Amazing. And I see them every day! But I think the weekend gap was enough to stand out. How exciting and unbelievable at the same time!

Tomorrow I'm trying chicken stuffed lettuce wraps. I keep meaning to do a stuffed cabbage also. I'll keep you guys posted.

Can't wait to see my number tomorrow!

want-to-loose: the gourmet hcg cookbook I found on this site has really helped me also. I also really like the chicken cachitori (sorry I know my spelling is off but I am too lazy to go downstairs to get the cookbook ) and the crab soup was really good also. I also had tilapia and made the tomato soup (i actually made 1/2 the recipe) in the recipe book and I could barely finish it all. I am on day 8 and have already had the chili 3 times, it is yummy - you just have to play with the spices to make it how you like it.

also thank you want-to-loose for the support. I think if i was working this would be easier because i was an occupational therapist and worked in pediatrics so there was no time to think about anything but my patients and we only had a 30minute lunch where I ate and wrote notes. But since my back surgery and tailbone removed I have not been physical able to work so I am home alone during the day and with still having pain I am in bed on and off so I have toooo much time to dwell on my cravings, my cramps and anything and everything. Thank you again.

stats: 5'5", 37 ys, 2 sugeries (back fusion, tailbone removal) 6 & 8/11, 4 kids (4-17yrs), very sedentary life since surgeries due to pain/restrictions.
    starting weight: 186.2
    week 1: 7.6 lbs
    week 2: 3.4 lbs
    week 3: 3 lbs
    day 22-25: 1.2 lbs

[QUOTE=Kajola;652592][QUOTE]I have 34 injections from this vial!

Pamela, I've read on here that the mixed vial isn't good that long, though. The board veterans have posted that once mixed, it loses it's effectiveness after a 2-3 weeks. I plan to use the first vial for 20 injections, then will dispose what's left and remix vial 2 for the next 20 injections.
I guess I'll have to play it by ear - I've heard that some freeze it before the 30 day mark so it lasts 40. No idea, just have to wait and see...

I'm eating the chilli now. I LOVE IT! I can't wait for phase 4 when I can add more stuff to it lol. For the batch I make for lunch and dinner tomorrow, I'll puree the tomatoes. I want it thicker than it turned out.

Oh my goodness Katie, I didn't know you were dealing with so much more. I would suggest picking up a hobby. Do you know how to knit or crochet? If you do, start a new project (socks maybe, with a medium to advanced pattern). This will keep you busy and time will fly and before you know it, you haven't thought about food or pain in a while. If you don't know how to knit or crochet, get a kit and start learning! When I was unemployed (thank goodness no longer), I started knitting socks (using circulars) for my family for holiday presents. If this doesn't appeal to you, maybe another hobby, something other than TV or internet. Or something that you can do while watching TV or listening to music. And don't watch the food channel. Speedy recovery to you!

luv- i am a newby but from reading the intro information i think it is 4 days then you can do an apple day. I would go to search and put in stall in p2 or apple day and see what comes up. hope that helps

want-to-loose: i have found if I cut the watery inside seedy part of the tomatoes out it is a little less runny, and i also this last time used 1 tablespoon of tomato paste (i bought organic salt free brand that only had tomato on the ingredients) and that seemed to thicken mine up some. thanks for the advice- i have taken up painting and i do help my husband with his business with computer work and phone calls but it does leave too much time when I am hurting and laying down. I decided on hcg because i am limited to 20 lbs and under lifting, no running, etc. I can only sit up to 10 minutes on a special pillow. I had a spinal fusion and then in august the removed my tailbone and it can take up to 2 years to fully recover. they only give me a 30% chance of being completely pain free, but the pain i have now is nothing compared to what it was. I know if i can get this weight off it will help with my back and with my health. I am just so grateful i found this site before i started!! Such wonderful people here.

I'm so sorry Katie. Healing and pain free mojo to you. Looks like you are pretty busy, but have too much time left while lying down. Maybe drinking some soothing tea (Chamomile, Sleepy time tea) can ease your nerves and calm down a little? I hope that helps

Hi all! I know it's late in the month, but may I join you? I started Round 2 loading today. In Round 1 (early Dec. through mid-Jan.), I lost 24 total, and maintained right around LIW until the past 10 days or so when I started pre-loading (hehehe... whoops!). So now I'm 4 lbs over LIW. I hate losing the same pounds twice, but it is what it is. It seems that I need to eat P3 to maintain, because I have trouble with self-control when I'm eating fatty carbs (buttered toast, pastries, etc.).

I got lucky this time, because I ordered my HCG for this round when I re-ordered during round 1. Glad I have it now that there are supply issues with Rx HCG. I do sub-q injections of 125 Corion. I'll go back a few pages and try to acquaint myself with everybody.

Started Round 2 Feb. 27; lost 24 in Round 1.

Oh katie you are coping with alot. I have been dreaming about food alot this week.It doesn't help that my son is feasting on pasta and chinese food in front of me while I'm having fish...again.But I get through it by thinking about how I'm going to feel by June and what kind of clothes I'll be wearing etc.I do it whenever I'm craving and my mantra is ''nothing tastes as good as slim feels''.I have it on post it's around the house.
You guys who are doing this diet whilst still having periods are amazing.
When you think about it Katie you're dealing with so much - you're healing from surgery, isolation, pain, this extreme diet, and your fluctuating hormones with a side order of cramps!! Your determination is clear and pretty inspiring.
I hope you heal well and quickly, really well done getting through it.

Oh cr**p after all I said yesterday I weigh in this morning and I've gained 0.5lb. NooOooOOoooOoooOooOOoooooooooo
I made Tom Yum soup with prawns and asparagus last night it was seriously delicious and I was thrilled to have something so tasty.. but lemon grass, chilli, ginger, vege stock,coriander-all fresh, could this be the cause?-having so many ingredients in one dish? OMG I'm so frustrated with the constant investigation into the tiniest details.
I read other folks posts and they're having coconut oil and mixing their vege etc and they're still losing!?!?!
I live in the UK and we weigh in stones and pounds. There are 14lbs in a stone so today's weight of 150lbs is 10stone 10lbs...I am so desperate to get to 9stone and out of those 10's -that's a real land mark for me and my first goal. After that I'd like to loose another 10lbs to get back to my pre-gain weight.I'm on homoeopathic drops,so because there's no problem with immunity I figured I would just keep going to that first goal if I could. And I'm so looking forward to having broccoli in p3 ...how weird is that?
So glad I found this forum,it really helps to read other peoples journey's and getting that response from people yesterday felt so supportive.I'm a single parent whose friends are all tiny so this is my only outlet.
    Thanyou,thankyou,thankyou!

SpecialKWelcome - it's so nice to have people at different places - gives us a new perspective! Happy losing

Astrid Sorry about the gain, but hang in there - you know it has to be water weight or something!

AFM, down .4, but having cramps! what in the world?!?!!? It had better be ovulation cuz I just had TOM on the 14th. I feel you Katie - I can NOT do this 2x a month!!
