Hello fellow Feb loaders.
VLCD18: Down another pound today, making 14 from my preload weight. Katie, I baked the tilapia in foil last night, and it turned out perfect. We had fresh asparagus, too.

Good morning all!Whoosh for me today, I'm down another 1.5 lbs. its been awhile since I've gotten one of those. I've spent the last two weeks with alot of goose eggs and a few .5 to keep me going. Hang in there, a few goose eggs won't matter when the .5 start going again!
Have a great day everyone!
Hello my fellow FLers! I know I have not posted and honestly, it was because I was deciding whether or not to continue. Frankly, I was kinda grumpy and didn't want to spread it around.
So I had a series of mini-cheats (3 pringles, a finger-size slither of lemon cake, half a small bag of fries, 1 mcnugget) that kept me at 174 for a full week. But I have been back on the wagon 100% for the last 3 days. Woke up to a 2lb loss this A.M. I also switched my injections to bedtime. I like it better.
Katie - Thanks for the tilapia recipe, it was good. I'd also like to share my new addiction. Steamed spinach. I take fresh spinach and lightly steam it. Then I take Braggs Amino acids (1 tbsp), apple cider vinegar (1/2 tbsp), and a little stevia (to your taste) mixed in a bowl. I toss the spinach in the braggs mixture and it is DELISH. I had to come up with something cuz i was getting bored with the choice of veggies.
I actually may finish my 40day round. Still undecided, although I am in a better place.
Pam!- I am reading your posts everyday even if I don't have anything productive to contribute. Keep up the excellent work! {{{HUGS}}}
Just wanted everyone to know that I am still around, back on track, and reading about everyone's journey.
SMOOCHES!!!
Glad you didn't quit, I've been wondering about you. Thanks for the spinach idea, it sounds good.
You know, before starting this diet, I hardly EVER bought fresh vegetables (with the exception of salad veggies) out of being unsure how to cook them or thinking it would be too much trouble. I always bought frozen. Last night was the first time I ever cooked fresh asparagus, and was amazed at how easy it was and how delicious they were.
So... how do I steam fresh spinach?
Michmich- that is sooo great!!!! Wooo Hooo!
Wow- 1.5lbs! It is hard to keep going when they scale is not cooperating- but once you get those good numbers again it helps get through the next laul.
so glad you are back!!! I was worried. you and i have struggled it seems since day 1, but you still have great numbers! I started out at 186 and am down to 174 (-12 pounds on day 19) from your ticker it looks like you started at 184 and are down to 170.4 (-13.6 pounds on day 17)! So if you feel like you are doubting how you are doing, you have lost more weight in less time than me even with cheatingSo hang in there. I waiver each day between going 23 days or 30. At this point I will see how I feel day 21, if i am ok I will keep going that day and so on. I am trying not to let the # of days be in my mind as much as how I feel today and if I think I have 3 more days in me (since I know I have to stay on the diet for 72 more hours after stopping). I am really glad to see you back on here! I hope things go more smoothly from here on out for you!
Kajola- so happy for your pound! Glad the tilapia turned out! Did you steam the asparagus? If so the way I cook mine also is on the grill. If you have a grill you soak the asparagus in cold water for 20 minutes then place on grill with a little salt and pepper sprinkled on them. cook for 5 - 8 minutes depending on how wide / big the asparagus is, then turn and cook another 5-8 minutes. then cut off the thick end (cut off aprox. 1 inch). that's it! SOOO Yummy! As far a spinach I am sure you can steam spinach- I haven't done so, but I bet you could google it or even go to you tube and watch step by step.

week 2: 3.4 lbs
week 3: 3 lbs
day 22-25: 1.2 lbs
Lost .4 woooo. 17 days left of this round and 10 whole pounds to go. I am officially size 9 now without a muffin, a friend gave me some pants. I want to see how 8's fit since my 10's are big and womens jeans actually cover your *** better. I looked over my losses today on a calendar so I could keep my motivation because I really want more food. I lost 9 pounds the first week, over 4 on week 2 and almost 5 on week 3. This week I am at -1.8 so far. I would be so stoked if I can hit 158 by Sunday. It helps to look at the weekly totals to stay positive. I just want the 150's! I haven't been there as an adult, ever.
Yesterday I felt really weak and tired, like too tired to speak. I think I have been drinking way too much, probably a gallon or more a day. I need something in my tummy, you know? Today I am trying to sip my tea to see if I feel better.
Hope you all have a good rest of the week with your losses. I enjoy checking in and seeing how you all are doing.
Msfontella- I am so glad you didn't give up. I know I have thought about ending this round at 30 days lately cuz I just want to eat real food with fat in it. I don't think I can stop early though. Day 40 would come after I quit and I would be kicking myself for how quickly it went by. Glad you are back!
I have a steamer that I use for veggies and seafood but I used to use a strainer and a pot of water. The steamer just makes it easier to steam two things at once.
Katie - I really feel like we have alot in common. I have had two TOMs like you and then we remixed our HCG at the same time (it really helped). Truth be told, we are both doing well, numbers-wise. I hope that you are able to make it 30 days.
Question: Has anyone heard of reloading on your 21st day? I saw a Youtuber mention it. She used it to get out all her cravings. *shrug* made me wonder....
Glad you're still here MrsF. WTG everyone for the losses!
I'm down 1.2 lb today. And I'm no longer as bloated as I was. My mum suggested that I drink some ACV to correct the water retention. My tummy was so swollen. It worked. I downed (shot style) 2 tbls of ACV followed by as much water as it took to wash the taste away (yucky). I did it in the evening when I got home from work, at night before bed and this morning. I will start doing this as maintenance (but maybe reduce the acv to 2 tbls once a day, or 1 tbls twice a day).
Here's to more and more losses
I tried something new for lunch today and it was EPIC. If you love Indian/African/MiddleEastern food, you will LOVE this.
Chicken Cucumber Curry
100g chicken breast, thinly sliced into strips
1 tblsp braggs amino acids
1 medium Persian cucumber (or other kind) thinly sliced
A little chicken broth if needed (the no salt added kind with no sugar/cane juice)--I didn't measure
Garam masala
Curry powder
Put the chicken, braggs, garam masala and curry powder into a pan and saute. If it becomes dry, add a splash of chicken broth (don't add too much as the cucumbers have their own water). Once the chicken is done (or mostly done) add the cucumber slices and cover for a minute. Cook till the chicken is done and cucumbers are slightly soft (or to your liking). Cooks up really fast since the chicken is thinly sliced. Serve hot. Enjoy.
The spices in this "curry" blend together and it tastes so yummy. No need for added salt or pepper. You can make it HOT by adding your favorite hot spices (I like hot curry powder!).
Increase the calories of the meal by using a bigger cucumber (The persian ones tend to be smaller/shorter) or use more cucumbers
